  1. i wouldn't say it's her hardest match up. Chipp to this day is the Dizzy Destroyer. anyway i havn't played any real great Fausts but i have noticed some things. pokeing with the Ice Spike is very effective in this match since Faust is such a large target. you can Ice Spike the scapel pull for a Counter hit. if he uses the doors alot you can throw him right as he appears. also faust's lock down isnt really all that good. if he gatling to the Pogo you can poke him off of it with 5P or Ice Spike. if he gatlings to an item then you have a small chance to dash it and poke him. avoid using 5K over 2K as sometimes he'll duck it. Faust has a number of over heads to watch out for. these are 6HS, 5D, his Force Breake, and his P extension on the Pogo. he also has a Comand throw to watch out for as well. faust cannot duck under ad.2S>ad.HS so use it. personally i am not sure how this is a bad match up(might be my lack ofplaying a great faust) since both characters can fight from long range. Faust is annoying at best long range where Dizzy Can rush in protected by a Fish. Faust also eats some of the most painful combos that Dizzy has. and in AC anything to c.S>6P>Arrow will lead into those combos. furthermore, Faust really has no answer for Dizzy's lock down out side of a DAA (wich 2D ducks under giving you a free throw). those are my thoughts.

  3. i've noticed that Ky is far more able to get damage in this game then in Slash do to his ability to build your gaurd gadge. what i ment about throws was him throwing you. with a SE FRC he can tick throw you a number of ways. and with gaurd gadge build up that can hurt. Ky also bilds tension like no other, VT loops don't cost tension for the most part, therefor he can spend most of his tension pressureing you and running away. the match is just really annoying. but like i said i am sure it goes the same way for him. Dizzy too dosn't need tension for her combos and spends most the time giving pressure or running away.... :/
  4. i've had alot of matches against Axl. from X2 to AC. the one thing that changes this match in Dizzy's favor is that you can Ice Spike Axl's 5P, 2P, or 6K for a free counter hit. this is easier to do in AC since those pokes stay out longer then they used to. also throw alot in this match up. Axl has a counter for almost anything Dizzy has. your safe from this only with a fish out. if you don't have one, THORW! and get one out.

Ky has alway's be a really rough match up, if the ky player knows what he is doing. if their spacing is right then Greed Sever and Stun Dipper are unpuishable. this can be a big issue. the only real gap in his game that i see is a gap between 6P>6HS in pressure. you can 5P>K>HS>ice spike out of that. but there is no reason for Ky to have to use 6P>6HS in pressure. but if you are able toscore a KD keeping him there isn't really an issue. Ky's upper only has one hit wich means it losses to Fish. again if the Ky Player is smart he'll only Upper when he has 25% tensionto make it safe. the best way to win this match IMO is to be patiant, block low, and watch for his over heads (5D and Greed Sever) and throws. because of Dizzy and Ky's Simmliar mach up expectaions, they both being difficult to punish, i think the match up is 5/5. both characters controll the match off of KDs, Ky better so then Dizzy but Dizzy has much more damage then he.
  6. damn thats too bad. i was really looking forward to some Dizzy/Hoss Vs. Robes matches soon... i've played agaisnt Robes before but not like your's. but hopfuly i'll make it to NEC. are you going to team up with kurumster if you go? me and Tage*Proto will accept any matches! more on topic: Baiken.... this match used to be simple for me in Slash. the Fish would always eat the counter for me. her new HS counter can be punished with a CH ice Spike, but that's not the issue. Baiken seems to have more tools then she did in Slash. being able to counter from the bonzai run is gay! but 2K that shit. 6P in AC actually beats things now! like Baikens ad.S!!! but overall the match is still about Throws. i beleave Poon said some thing like "Baikens were made for throwing, so that just what we'll do. and someday they'll be comboed too." Dloop, your thoughts?
  7. nah, what i am talking about is a perfect meaty TK bubble j.K(pop). if done corecctly Dizzy will land just as the upper starts. this is a tactic to beat all uppers and wake up supers. it Beats Vulcanic Viper, Vapor Thrust, Beta Blade, and almost anyother wakeup move i can think of. often times the ivincabilty of said upper will be imune to the bubbles pop but dizzy still escaped to upper and is free to puinish. i've used thistactic before on Robes so i am confudant it will work. i am not totaly sure about NEC yet because of money. but i'll catch you guys at n cubed yea?
  8. word. IIRC 2K>5HS will work if they're crouching as well. but it's better to poke with 5K>HS or 2K>2D. Edit: will you be at NEC or N cubed?
  9. you got most of what i was saying. the starting with HS fish can be a good thing but it has it's flaws. it's really slow and escapable. if your close use a delayed K fish after a KD. if you wish to use HS TK a bubble and go from there. if your going to dry summon use the K or P fish since they attack faster and the K homes in, it'll eat more hits for you than any other fish. the best Oki option on Robes IMO is TK Bubble j.K(pop) as it is safe fromhis Upper and anything else if done corectly.

Kurumster has a real love for those laser fish... nice Robes doomscyther. are you going to NEC or N Cubed? anyway, the Robes match up has always been a strange one for me. i think his mix up is pretty simple to read but he dosn't really give Dizzy room to breath and his damage is hella high. it's a rough match up to say the least. but i am not sure if those vids were a very good example of the match up. no offense to Kurumster but laser fish are full screen pressure tools only in my book and you should be able to prevent jump outs with them, let alone airdashs... also, if Kurumster had used more Tk bubbles or K/P fish the match might have been a lot closer. tip: if Robes loves 2K. dash over it and throw.
  11. well first off i've notice maytimes that Dizzy's j.2S beats out most of Eddie anti airs. unless of course he dose it before your start you 2S. i that case a good air dash bubble will usally cause them to whiff. and no matter what character i play attempting to kill little eddie is not a good idea. it gives Zato a free combo. it's justlike attacking Dizzy's Fish. Unbloackables are not that difficult to block. you just have to jump and faultless to escap the whole High low part. throwing the cammand throw is risky becuase of the range but the wayto doit is a forward comand throw. it's much safer then back dashing since the Shadow S will uaslly catch you. and yes the Shaodw hold and 6P will almsot dizzy you every time. wiggle man! if you can learn to survive little Eddie pressure the match is yours. once Eddie is inthe corner i havn't see him be able to do anything against Dizzys pressure and throw game. before i actually played this match i thought Eddiewould rape Dizzy. it's not an easy match by far but i don't feel that she is at the disavantage.
  12. so i was wondering what the players here a Dloop thought of the Eddie match up. so far i havn't had too much trouble with Eddie as long as i avoid getting into little Eddie pressure by running away, bloacking corectly in pressure and throwing his comand throw. from my experance Eddie cant really deal with Dizzy's rush down well. he has unblockables that deal decent damage but no where near dizzys damage. Dloops thoughts?

  15. in my experance against FB Grave Digger almost any normal will hit him out of it. you get a nice CH 2S combo off it too.
  16. if testament likes to open up with 6K do 5K IceSpike to get him to stop.
  17. i'll play around with this meaty j.HS as well. it seems to add yet another tool for Hos's Oki game. with that in mind i am not sure if agree that Hos's mix up is that bad. the Gun Blaze Oki is already Difficult for Players to deal with if you utlize all of it's options. plus Meaty 2HS options are pretty nice as well. +3 on block, links to 5K on hit, and counter hit leads to huge combos! not to mention this meaty j.HS stuff. wich sounds upper safe and leads in to the same kind of options as Meaty 2HS. none of this even takes into accont the mix he has in Pressre with 5D, Lv1BRP FRC, CC Fefinir, 2HS RC, and Lv3BRP. honestly his mix up seems pretty Solid to me.

  20. i've always veiwed Chipp as a really bad match up for Dizzy. i mean sure Dizzy dose some really high damage to Chipp. but his Noraml's like f.S, HS, and 2D beat cleanly almost every thing Dizzy has. plus he has a safe upper with FRC. if she dosn't play safe on him he will rip her to shreds. i really don't see how this match has changed from #R to AC...
  21. near corner: j.HS, j.D, lv2SV, land, k, c.S, air combo. no need to RC lv2RK. Untechable time is long enough to run up and 5K.
  22. what a worthless IK..... i don't think Dizzys changes in AC are bad at all. -the fish rush down have a little more options now. i agree the the best ones are probly P/K P/P or K/P. personally i think k/P is better then the old K Fish since you get 3 bites instead of 2 and you still can rush safely from full screen. and P/P with 4 bites!! come on how cant you love that. i've seen a lot of players still use the HS fish for throw crossovers. i can't tell if you hve to tag with 2K first to make it safe but it still seems to work. -j.2S honestly is a really good tool. being able to rushs like ad.2S, air dash, ad.2S, ad.HS.... is too good. plus it seems like a good tool to hit some one whos rightunder you with. -6P wall bouncing is so god damn sweet!! ad.2S, ad.HS, land, c.S, 6P, Arrow!!!! that is death! -the only use isee with the howing bubble is from full screen with and Arrow and the screen freeze on Iperial Ray. other then that...... -and i guess there is one good thing to Dizzy's IK.... she wont lose her tension bar? ......
