  1. afaik from the information gathered, she still acts the same as before
  2. My impression of that is that this Babylon stage is in the present, so we've got Illyrian soldiers inspecting the ruins like they were in Xrd -SIGN-'s story mode.
  3. I'd like to hear your guess, myself.
  4. Considering the bell on his pants, the boob-beard and the fact that he's in that screenshot with Leo and Johnny (Tuner was previously stated in a tweet to A:be a friend of Johnny's, B:appear in Leo's Episodes scenario), I'd be willing to put a bet on my guess.
  5. Looking at that Tuner screenshot, I could see people looking at the machine from afar and mistaking those two big spikes in his beard for boobs.
  6. all dose questions Although I have this strange feeling that Xtra's been retconned or something, attributed to its absence in Xrd's Library Mode. Like, some portions of XX have been retconned for sure ('gaiden game') but if Xtra doesn't even appear in the Library Mode, which otherwise compiles every damn thing? What else could it mean?
  7. I've read your blog good sir. I know how it gets. I'd like to move on from this conversation please. So anyway, everyone took note of Raven traveling with Sol and Sin but not that Ramlethal is now traveling with them. While it makes sense from a character standpoint, one thing I'd like to know is how Ramlethal's initial declaration of war was actually broadcast. Because if anyone saw her face during that spiel, traveling with her's gonna get inconvenient.
  8. Hey man, I'll gladly read up lore. I just liked that the main plot in Xrd wasn't a confuzzling web of multidimensional shenangians.
  9. just like hirohiko araki kappa One thing I liked about Xrd's story is that, despite having all that over-the-top lore behind it, the main plot itself was pretty simple and self-contained, simply focusing on combating the Conclave and a handful of character development, I could follow it pretty easily. I hope it stays that way for Revelator, lest I get my GG equivalent of Chronophantasma's headscratcher of a story mode.
  10. All of the BlazBlue games have had pretty amazing sounding arcade opening themes. While Calamity Trigger has this mysterious air about it that marks the beginning of a series and Continuum shift, CHRONPHANTASMA and CHRONORISE have this incredibly triumphant feel that gets me pumped, Central Fiction's opening theme somehow sounds even more intense than them all, and has this drama, this sense of finality to some of its notes, like 'no really it's really the end of the story this time, and shit is about to go down'. Can't wait for what other new tracks we get from the game.
  11. Hibiki huh? Honestly, he actually sounds like he'd be an interesting addition to the cast. More interesting than Celica at least. I'm imagining him having a bunch of teleports.
  12. She's probably Stephanie using something closer to her normal voice. Is what I'm imagining.
  13. Her 5D seems ridonkulously fast, even for the small amount of Tension it costs. AND it advances forward! That combination of range and speed might make it one of the scariest overheads in the game. And it's great seeing more stuff come out of people experimenting with her, like that side Dust combo. The more I see of her, the more I like her. Hoping to see more throughout this second loketest.
  14. A Raven, I guess. The bird is associated with death after all, fitting the whole spooby theme going on in the trio.
  15. And it comes with the soundtrack? Wow, this got a little more attractive for me, despite already owning the game on PS3.
  16. If it's the same quality as the 'Heavy Day' and 'Lily' tracks being sold on iTunes a while back, I'm good.
  17. Lol is Bosco revealing his past as a weaboo?
  18. Ask em who it is anyway, because at this point I am DYING to know. Also ask them how much detail on their character's history they were given as they were portraying them.
  19. Hmm...this complicates things. Drat.
  20. This'll be in stores right? Normally I'd despair at it being Japan exclusive, but I'm making a trip to Japan in April, so I should look out for a store that might have it.
  21. Huh. Am I the only guy who actually thought Destructive Goodwill fit Faust like a glove? I kinda thought it had this subtle wacky, eccentric tone to it.
  22. Just my take on it, but I figure as the Universal Will pumps Valentines out, Ariels is hijacking control of them somehow. Just speculation though. As for the Valentines having emotions, Elphelt stated in the story mode that the Universal Will probably saw the original Valentine's lack of emotion as why it failed in its purpose, hence Ram and El being designed with emotions.
  23. I personally see her retaining her giddy romantic personality but fighting on the villain's side, and also with a few more dramatic lines when fighting with Sol, Sin or Ram. She says in the ending that no matter what, she can't disobey Mother's programming, whether she maintains her emotions or not. So unless Mother decides to do a 180 and completely repress Elphelt's emotions, I still see her being all "OMG ROMANCE EEEEE" in future sequels.
  24. I see this less as Sol being able to legitimately one shot the Beast and more just Death Battle getting a little lazy for the finale.
