6p > 421s works on the following characters. females: baiken, i-no, jam, may, millia males: bridget, chipp, faust, potemkin, testament, zappa *(also connects on axl as well, but you need dash momentum 6p... which would never happen unless the opponent is dizzied) as for requirements, all the things you listed matters. but you pretty much need to be very close to the wall for all characters other than potemkin. some likely scenarios i could see you having the chance to do these combos are: 1) 2k > 6p 2) ch j.h > dash > (5k/5s) > 6p 3) opponent kills fish > (5k/5s) > 6p as for the combo... 6p > 421 > j.h > (release) 214k > j.h > land > j.s > jc > j.s > j.d ...you will need to vary the jump timing and arrow release timing for all characters. the key is orienting the charged arrow close to the center of their hit box as possible. generally speaking, you will want to jump late as possible against lighter characters... while against potemkin you would like to jump as quickly possible and also release the arrow almost instantly as you j.h. i personally think k bubble is the easiest to use, but some people use p and s bubbles as well. it's best to experiment the timing with everybody. granted, i've only had handful of chances where i was able to try these combos in actual match so far... and only succeeded twice. and they were both off 2k so the total damage output wasn't that great. it probably would've been more practical for me to go for a knockdown instead.

makoto and kazuki are still the best, imo

yea, at least in japan there are reservations among some people from using certain colors. back in #reload, everybody recognized the pink dizzy as makoto's dizzy... the blonde baiken as shalon's baiken... and so forth. i don't think it really matters, though... i mean there are always one or two colors for each character that everybody wants to play.

Eli, everybody is gonna be claiming that Suigintou is their color so you might as well drop it. Just go with the Hina Ichigo color. D: I've realized weeks ago that the Suiseiseki color is actually really ugly. I still use it, but I probably wouldn't have if I didn't know that it's supposed to be Suiseiseki.

I guess you guys are talking about Psycho's new Dizzy vid. I tried downloading it the past 2 days but the link doesn't work for whatever reason. D:

yea but if you let people that never play guilty gear or fighting games in general play around with sol, you will definitely see more bandit bringers than bandit revolvers. maybe it has something to do with unintentionally holding down the buttons is easier on pad than stick or something, but at least that's what i've noticed. and as for the frames thing, that's kind of interesting... like does minimum frames of button-hold for stand alone bandit bringer (whatever that may be) the same as buffered bandit bringer?
-
you probably always get bandit bringer and never see bandit revolver cus you mash too much.
-
what's the point in even risking yourself for air grab when there are so many other available options to punish bandit revolver if you see it coming?

in japan, interest groups are often referred as doukoukai, dousoukai, doujinkai, etc. thus printed publications released by these circles are often referred to as doujinshi (not limited to fan-made manga parodying animes/games/whatnot, although that is what the term has became known mostly for outside of japan). in a similar fashion "doujin games" are basically fan-made softwares not affiliated with large scale publishers. examples of more famous and popular doujin fighters include melty blood, eternal fighter zero, and immaterial and missing powers. -
GV is usually not good because Sol will get raped on block with 120% probability unless you RC (lolol). But people do occasiocally use the move to catch the opponent off guard by running under projectiles, punish moves that leave their lower body vulnerable, and/or punish moves with high recovery, etc. And mash harder!!!

may's ik is not a command throw, it's a unblockable much like pot buster or a.b.a's special.
-
now that i think about it i don't think i've tried survival mode yet
-
dizzy's bubble is not untechable, although it can be for some characters if they get CH at a low height.

well, not necessarily. the reason prorates exists for certain moves are to prevent them from becoming too abusive or game-breaking. standing and crouching punch as well as kick for most characters have prorate associated with them because they have few frames of start-up. it is okay to start combos with prorating moves, but you should think twice before you decide to burn tension (rc/frc, super) in middle of these combos if it is really worth it for the amount of total damage the combo will end up delivering. -

1. Dunno. I've been playing Dizzy for a long time and I still miss her ice spike FRC a lot. Some days I can just FRC everything on autopilot, and some days I can't hit jack shit. 2. Maybe. 3. Slap a ho'. No plz. -

prorate usually affects the combo damage if it is used to begin a move. but forced prorate scales the damage following the move even if it is used in middle of a combo. i.e. sol's sidewinder, dizzy's ice spike, and many others. -
