So if I'm player 2 don't pick auto. Stunedge mentioned that Yukiko and Mitsuru stages have the least amount of lag.

He will always appear behind you and he's safe. You can do 5D and jump back in anticipation of the B+D and pressure him as he appears. Of course you'll be sacrificing a persona card.

That's because he is. You lose your oki against Teddie since it loses to B+D. You have to run other stuff for oki where as you can still do what you want against Mitsuru.

Eddie far drill kills back dash attempts. With shadow out it leads to an easy confirm into a death combo. 1 frame jump is usually a lot better but without Ghost Zappa is super limited in the air.

Shout outs to 5A > 5B > 2C.

Poison super is no big deal at all. Just jump into it and block, that way the shadow will survive. It's 50% tension that he'll be spending for it so if you bait it out and block it you'll win that exchange. If you want to keep momentum just run up and BTL while doing shadow -p- to use it's invul to get in and punish.

Some general tips in matchup. Priority for summons are Dog > Ghost > Raoh > naked > Sword. Sword is completely useless in the matchup, so manage the clock to get dog or ghost, if you get sword on wakeup you're fucked. Naked lets you spit and centipede so its > sword in the match. Never raw summon if the clock is set to give you sword. Dog allows you to still attack while blocking Eddie mixup and Eddie has no way of dealing with dog pressure and corner unblockable setups. While you have ghost active the matchup is heavily in Zappa's favor. Eddie has to run the obstacle course to try and land a hit since summoning against ghost is difficult. As good as Raoh is Eddie is still better so don't always go for Raoh unless you get a confirm into Centipede. Go into training mode and learn to Instant Block the second hit of Mawaru (Shadow K release) and back dash out. If I'm not mistaken Zappa's back dash is really good. You can also try to slash back it + throw > centipede > back dash. That takes a lot of practice though, so the IB back dash might be easier. While Shadow gauge is cooling down that's the time to really go in with Dog and setup bite.

Mawaru takes less Shadow meter in the new patch. Now you can probably get extended blockstrings and combos. Now buzzsaw probably got stronger as well. I hope you can now build 25% with a string with enough time to do exhaustion and get double Eddie meter.
