If I remember correctly, that Caster client plays similar to the arcade version. You can do versus offline and training mode with it too. Though I may be wrong so don't quote me on that.

I'll try teaching you anything you'd like to know if we ever play in person. I have a ton of knowledge on the character (and the game in general) that probably shouldn't go to waste. And regarding the news with the major... I'm disappointed that there's no anime in the line up. Would have assumed there'd be Xrd at the very least, even though I don't really care for that game

Thanks! I'll find out for sure as the date approaches. If I can find someone to carpool with, it's definitely happening. Otherwise I'm not too sure but I could probably work something out regardless. Being able to do something like casuals weekly won't happen any time soon, however I should be able to make it to the monthlies..

We mostly just use the group chat to set up netplay rooms since trying to organize that through this thread can be a hassle. I'm sure that any announcements regarding offline play and any big news or events happening will still be posted here, so joining the group chat isn't an absolute must. I can't really speak for anyone as to why we're not using Facebook instead of LINE; but deciding to use a LINE chat as opposed to something else like Facebook or Skype was more or less spontaneous. (I don't really use Facebook myself) Edit: Actually now that I think about it, we tried getting a general idea of what messaging app people would prefer to use a few pages back in this thread and most of those that responded mentioned LINE.

It's a free Instant messaging app you can download on PC and/or your Smartphone, tablet, etc. In order to join our group chat you need to create a user ID then have one of us here in the group add you.

Alright, I made the group and sent you an invite. I'll add anyone to the group from here aslong as I have their ID. I don't know how private messages work on DL but I'd assume one can give me their ID by doing that if you don't want it out here in public. DMing me on twitter will be fine too. Turns out I can edit the group name whenever, if need be. So that group name should be fine for now
