oh philly you guys actually talk and communicate and shit thats so unusual for me. reminder about the 22nd. if you plan to crash just let me know. if you plan to crash then TSB after, its about 80-90 minute drive and you can take parkway to the verrazano (parkway tolls will be about 2.25, then the bridge toll if you are looking at costs) or you can go to metropark (thats about an hour, still 2.25 parkways tolls) if you wanna take train in. i dont know what works better for philly people. hope to see you guys this weekend. :D

in relation to frame adv on j.236a/b and 214a > delayed 4a [1:34:14 AM] justin : so for j.236a and j.236b [1:34:37 AM] justin : i set training dummy (as hyde, vs hyde) to hold 1 for 100 frames, then mash 1a for 200 frames [1:35:20 AM] justin : if i tk the j.236b, then land and mash most things, he blocks the entire time, not even a frame trap to get a ch, just solid block the whole way [1:35:56 AM] justin : if i make him block it crouching at the highest height it would still contact him, i could get a counterhit out of his 1a mash with 5c [1:37:01 AM] justin : mistake: at highest height, i would counterhit his 1a mash with a 5b, but i would get hit out of 5c [1:45:05 AM] justin : same dummy conditions, for 214a > staggered 4a (no crossup, just landing on the same side you started) [1:45:27 AM] justin : if you just rifle them off quickly, you will land and be minus enough to get tagged a 2a [1:45:49 AM] justin : if you just delay in most cases, you will land and be able to block, but your minus [1:46:19 AM] justin : and i managed to delay and hit low enough to counter hit him out of 2a with my own land 2a mash 3 times, so i think you can get it to like +1 or so if your crazy good about it [1:46:49 AM] justin : dont have equipment to go frame by frame, but hopefully thats practical and helpful enough posting this here in case its useful for anyone. feel free (read: i hope someone does) to double check this and see what your findings are. im not a training mode monster so this is best i could do. reading older posts seems like you guys can get the rekka delay on block to be more plus than i could, so i expect that to be wrong. i was doing it for about 30 minutes and only got to ch him 3 times. maybe its just not in my skill set ^^

visible links to the old versions is prob a good idea. it was very helpful in the MBAACC wiki when my characters had no info in the new version, but some old info from the previous version. its at least a nice starting point. i second having a visible link at the top of each char page like "to see fiona's vanilla ah3 page, click here"

i havent been on, since uniel..... because uniel haha i seen GAKU do ID combos with double jump j.h in the corner, and i think that went into 6p loops. couldnt recall the video i saw it in. his normal dust combo does close enough to not need to worry about ID. but theres better than j.d j.d, so you might wanna watch some GAKU videos and x copy his dust combos.

1: can you use her b+c to command jump in a combo you already used your jump cancel in? 2: is her air b+c as cool as it seems for mixup? 3: do all of her dp's have invul? thanks lovely ladies.

in matches im lazy and don't sji either haha! its usually just something ending in j.h missile if i did a L3 steam so i stay heated, or j.d into dp if i didnt steam. the hit box on c.s is REALLY high and weird, theres a lot of spots where you are like "nahhh... no way" and it totally works. i just like using it because it helps me make my combo more stable rather than a straight super jump. dont ask, just works that way for me. next time im on gg, ill see what im naturally doing for heated 2s and let you know

anyone else having issues with pressure? im not used to reverse beat, even in melty i was full moon. i feel like im just not used to it and i get mashed out a lot just something to come with practice? or are you guys having success without making use of "reverse beat"-ing your normals? also, can you combo into 236x without a blood puddle and 2c to knock em down? gotta write some combo theory notes and try to grind this out, gonna be so hard ~_~

... 5s© > very fast 8 > super jump cancel the 5s© or 2s > very fast 8 > dashing 5s© > super jump that should be the way to do it - theres a explained example with millia in the wiki if you want a little more walk through just read the wiki, you will understand the whole thing easier ^^

side note that a lot of the cast after heat 2s can be hit with grounded 5s© then you can super jump so you can do like 5p 6h frc dash 5s© 2s dash 5s© sji air combo and get some meaty damage that way robo is low, but still strong. you just gotta work a little harder for a lil longer than you did in vanilla ac
