For quick sketches, you SHOULDN'T be spending more than that on them anyway. Go to a site like Posemaniacs or something, and try drawing a bunch of figures in 5 minutes or less. It's not about detail or accuracy, it's about how you can learn the body and how it moves. Okay but seriously, before Circ kills us all for talking about this, I've got an Art Critique thread on onehitcombo.net if you want to swing by and discuss this stuff. Probably a better place for it than the Blazblue fanart thread.

Yeah, I think the big problem about that one was I stopped drawing Dizzy somewhere and started drawing the reference instead; which really fucked up the way she looked. I agree on the gown v. the stripper outfit though, it fits Dizzy a lot more.

This. Learning a real person's anatomy is infinitely more useful than copying someone else's artstyle. Hell, I LOVE Daisuke's art and it still has a lot of problems in it; he's just a much more skilled artist and knows how to cover it and make scenes dynamic.

Eeeeeh I'm with Sorael on this one really. Technical skill is there, colors are well chosen, I just don't like the stylization.

Probably not the best place to post doodle pages, but amaartblog.com here I go: Doin' a bunch of heads, mostly for practice to make sure I get down planes and forms. Column one is an OC of mine called Laura, and then everyone's favorite douchebag underneath. Column two is another OC named Vakt, a really shitty Hunter and Tank (nipple), and then another OC named Millia Volsci (no relation to Millia Rage).

Alright, remembered that I had shit to do, so I'm clearing out my backlog over my Thanksgiving break. Just gon' dump that Justice that I still plan on finishing. Still to-do though: Jam/Buri Jam alt. costume Possibly OC? Eh, depends on the demand.

I was thinking closer to "justice" than trolling but I don't have any crotch spikes on me right now.
