Honestly, I have a wild guess that we will get a really vague clue about why Es appeared. Since Act 3 isn't Story Mode, I won't be surprised if we get more questions than answers in this act.

It is sad when you think Ragna's fate seems to be decided, without fulfilling his first wish: having his family back... Jin... Saya... Now with him slowly dying due to the Black Beast, his only option now is stop Izanami until he has the time to do so. Man, it is like Ragna's final battle will be against his own brother at the end, to end his suffer once and for all. And Hazama will watch it with his troll grin on the face. But seriously now, despite everything showing that he will die at the end and all, somehow I have a glimpse of hope that he will still be alive after this mess, I mean, we saw many one-sided situations like killing Mu was the only way to end the Kusanagi problem or only Celica could be used in the Lynchpin... I still having hope about this guy, the man didn't suffered his whole life for nothing!

I was really surprised when I saw Jin and Ragna in the end of the opening and Jin wasn't in "Nii-san" mode. True, it had another CG in Act 1, but it was the Black Beast, not Ragna being himself, this makes him a character that matured little by little, surprising us even more along the time. The Last thing that Jin need to do to make players pass out by surprise is treat Noel well.

I really didn't expect to Amaterasu's emblem be similar to CP emblem, I am really surprised now! Oh well, anyway. I wonder why some characters were running in this opening (Naoto, Litchi, Murakumos...)

So wait, what about the one inside of it? That appears above "Murakumo Unit"?

I guess Amaterasu's emblem is different. Isn't Amaterasu's emblem the one that shows when revealed the girl inside? Now, let's see what we get from this new material: In the brief start, where shows Ragna in the shattered piece, it is clearly the CG where it was him with a completely white background. The other CGs until announcing the name of this act are from Act 2. It is interesting when showing the clash between Jin and Noel later turns into Hakumen and Mu-12. Naoto now runs away when his character is showed up. Litchi runs too... All the Murakumos run... but Mu-12 is the only who stops. It doesn't have Hazama with that open eye, it is Terumi with sparking eye. Somewhere says "Leave no regret behind". Hazama and Hibiki/Nine with Kokonoe/Izayoi dealing with Makoto were already mentioned. Valk goes Berserk, maybe something happened to Rachel? That Amane CG didn't buy me that much, due to that 3D embryo behind, it may have something more to be revealed about that. Yeah. This gonna be awesome!

I know Mori stated Naoto's story will be the most shocking, however, since Izanami isn't his Saya, I doubt a little about that happening... but it is Mori, anything can happen, right? Obviously, we gonna need to wait one more week to close some arcade issues before hyping and theorizing until Story Mode itself. (Still no Act 3 opening up to date)

Since Act 3 didn't introduced a new character it is more alike it will have an arcade similar to CP, like Toxin45 said.

Or with his own Story Mode part, like Kagura, Kokonoe and Bullet in CPEX

My guess is Es will have an important role and with everyone and it won't take too long to Naoto end up stuck with the main cast, especially if Kokonoe plans to capture him.

Wild is nothing compared from what we saw from that preview, and also, people expects that some of the questions gets answered in act 3, instead of piling up more and more questions... I hope they show the new opening soon. I have high hopes for the crest that appears when announces the Act (like Nine's Crest in Act 1 and Izanami's in Act 2). If this act don't bring a new character, my guess is Ragna's, Noel's or Amaterasu's crest will show up. And please, Act 3, give us some answers about Naoto instead of throwing more questions in our faces.

Hm, that's weird, I thought he wanted something from the unit. And I thought also he referred the Unit as the Successor of the Azure, as Noel is. Sorry, my mistake. Changing a little the subject. I wonder if they have changed Nine's arcade ending in Act 1, since, you know, Act 2 is already released, plus, if they put the 3 acts in console release, it is a little unnecessary having a preview of a subsequent act since you will have access to all 3 acts... unless you need to unlock these arcades with the bosses (Nine and Izanami respectively).

In Litchi's act 2, we found that Roy's soul was inside Lao Jiu. In Terumi's, he wants to have the girl inside the Master Unit as his new vessel. In Ragna's, occurred another Phenomenon Intervention when he stabbed Izanami. In Naoto's, he got a piece of the Azure and saw many visions, including Es during these visions. In Azrael's, he made a pact with Izanami, in order to him Ragna and fight a Black Beast himself. Carl and Platinum got their wishes denied due to this "superior entitled" thing.

Still, no opening yet... maybe it can give some hints and some CGs to discuss...

That Terumi ending, he fought with a phantom of her, like a clone. Edit: Guys, I saw something, Ragna's conversation with Azrael in act II. It seems the Mad Dog knows about Phenomenon Interventions too, saying that Ragna could be the "correct one" and the "previous ones" were quite mouthful. He even asked if "this you" could fulfill him this time.

Thanks for clearing many of my doubts, Axiomatic. I know that Susano'o Unit is really that strong, but I didn't guessed the remainings could be that powerful and even without the Unit, his powers seems to be more completed than Hakumen's since even losing his body in boundary, he seemed to have no trouble to coming back with full power. (Maybe that's because his Susano'o is assembled directly into his ghost form and the power could easily protect him.) IIRC, many of the Phenomenon Intervention happens involving a "Noel" (Nu and Izanami) with the only exception being Ragna vs Azrael. But if your theory of Amaterasu is only looking after a happy ending for certain people, it could head straight to Ragna. I know it have some flaws, like Ragna current state, the church (losing his arm) and, maybe, about Lambda's death. And if we analyze about Tenjo or Celica being devoured on the Lynchpin, it has some important things to consider, and it is not about Ragna meeting Celica in the past and go rampage over Kokonoe, mostly. My main argument about this is: Kokonoe brought someone who was already dead to die again (I consider being sealed something similar to death), and since everyone lived with Celica for while, not knowing Kokonoe's plans to her (Seriously, who besides Kokonoe, and Tager maybe, knew about using Celica in Kushinada Lynchpin? If Nine discovers it, someone will get punished), nobody would like to see her leave in such a way, forever. And, in my opinion, I guess it would have happened the same if Tenjo was the one brought back, then Bang would go on rampage instead of Ragna, but since Tenjo was already dead and inside Rettenjo, it was another possibility. Plus, if you're saying that Nine describes Celica's death in some way that isn't being devoured by the Lynchpin, we do not know if Amaterasu would reset the world.

Sorry about this one... I wanted to refer at Amaterasu only, but not being in third person, I forgot about Me (character) when typing. And I already knew about Nine and Me being the same person. Thanks to reminding it.

This may sound obnoxious and stupid, but could Nine be something similar to Rachel due to be the "Phantom of Labyrinth" (Or for just being a Phantom)? After reading everything, also, something came into my mind: We may not know much about but what about Terumi? What is he to see "everything" (possibility) to find the perfect time, like in CT? And the world keeps resetting, like "the life needs to be like this and we must keep going and resetting until we find a Happy ending for everyone (Amaterasu)". I really can't recall well about CT, but, despite Noel saved Ragna and leading to a new possibility, what made to the world not reset all back again before CT, like all the other possibilities when Ragna fused with Nu? I was thinking too about an Onlooker/Observer being immune, in Rachel's case, but then we have other characters that are observers too who seems to be affected by the Phenomena Intervention (or isn't immune) Kokonoe is an example of this. Which then, maybe the only possibility explaining Rachel immunity could be the fuse of being a Chronophantasma and an Onlooker. Like she is really there just to watch, not intervene. And after intervening and not being an Observer anymore makes her vulnerable to PI. It is just something that came into my mind, feel free to disagree and all.

I do not think EVERY answer will be shown for us. They need some for Story mode too. And they can make even more questions rise.

Probably next week we gonna have the last opening and it may give some hints about what is coming.

So, let me get this straight: The recent resets inside Embryo was Noel's doing, not Amaterasu? But isn't Amaterasu inside the Embryo too, when Izanami created it and if so, why Amaterasu didn't just tried to undo it, since is not from her memories. Well, moving ahead, then one thing that could make too Izanami says to most of the people to kill Noel could be just to herself handle the Master Unit. But there is one thing in my mind. Destroying Amaterasu should be something like Life-link with Noel, which means killing and destroying them at the same time, since both can reset the world.

One thing that Ogiga99 said before was about the relation between Noel and Amaterasu: it still highly unclear about those, but one thing confirmed was about Noel being the source of the Phenomenon Intervention (as Ogiga99 said, again). However there was one point where I disagree. About saying that nobody could die inside Embryo since Amaterasu could simply undo everything, but what if Noel dies then? If she is the source of the Intervention, killing her (and Hazama, due to life link) would do the job to stop some of the resets. Yet Izanami just targeted Noel for her not need to dirt her hands and do her plan while others are distracted protecting/killing Noel, with the exceptions of Ragna (the wild card), Naoto (someone just doing his job, for Raquel), Amane (Entering Takamagahara System), Azrael (After Ragna) Rachel (Concerned about Ragna), Valk (Concerned about Rachel) and Plat/Terumi/Relius (because they seem not that concerned about killing/protecting Noel right now)

His Excitement Gauge seems to have more than one level, comparing Famitsu Reveal and the Gameplay. Full gauge may have even better benefits. Unfortunately, you can't carry the amount in Excitement Gauge between rounds, what makes the player to risk his own health to build up, plus his purple health depletes completely once hit out the Stance and takes around 5 sec to the purple health regenerate. The gauge seems to fill by hits not per damage (need to be confirmed) and at https://youtu.be/YKQn4rSgAxE?t=14m56s thegauge seems to be filled at the very start alone, maybe because his health bar was already flashing.

Maybe because her power was weakened and they imprisioned her to not look after Ragna, who is dying. That can be why they would try to brainwash her (if I am not wrong about this last one)
