I'm of the opinion that Millia killed Zato. I believe that's how it happens in Guilty Gear X Plus, at least. Millia and Zato/Eddie are slugging it out in one of her endings, with Eddie having almost completely overwhelmed Zato for ownership of the body. However, Zato emerges long enough to paralyze Eddie and Millia capitalizes on it to deal him a mortal blow.

danceljoy: Ah, thanks. My mind must be going if I forgot that. Blade: I didn't even realize they would bother with a "mook guide." However, it does confirm what I already suspected, which is how little we know about Leopaldon. Too bad, really. I was hoping he would get ported over to the main series and elaborated on like ABA in Accent Core Plus. There aren't enough Gear characters.

If I might take things off on a different path for just a moment, what's up with Leopaldon and the Assassin's Guild? Specifically, what do we know about ol' Leo? I seem to recall it having been said that Leo is a Gear being manipulated/driven by a human man and his dog, who maybe named Ankh. Apparently, Leo has been going around doing good deeds...or so I believe I was told. It's been so long that Isuka came out that it's difficult for me to remember what was official material and what is baseless conjecture, which afflicts Guilty Gear pretty badly. Just look at all the theories of Johnny and Testament wielding Jinki or the idea that I-no is possessed by her demonic hat. Can anyone clarify what it is we have, concrete information of regarding Leopaldon? As for the Guild, I've heard it's still active by the time of Overture. It's been a while since I've done much of anything with the game, so my memory is foggy at best. Did it come up in dialogue or was some promotional material responsible for that little tidbit?

To take the topic off into a slightly different road for a moment (if I may...), has there been any word on the theory of Justice being Valentine? It was all the rage a while back but I haven't seen (or maybe I missed) anything on the subject. Has it been debunked? Confirmed? Or are we still waiting on that?

Thanks for posting the videos And I feel compelled to ask just what's going on in Level 13. Given the music and the hordes at the gates, I assume Ky and Dr. P. are having a brothers-in-arms type of moment. "It was honor to have fought along side you" and all that stuff, right?

I don't think it would be anything so extreme, but I had envisioned a similar scenario. Perhaps Ky had a hand in deposing Illuria's former king and the populace asked him to stay on as their new patriarch. Possible, if unlikely Really, though, that's why I'm asking. Wild speculation can only keep me entertained for so long.

Maybe I'm behind the times, but has there been any word on how it is that Officer Kiske became King Kiske? Around the time the game came out, I recall hearing that Ky had become the king of a nation and feeling rather surprised. Yet nothing ever seemed to follow up on what made that possible. Does the game ever touch on that? You would think Ky being from a royal line would have been mentioned before now, so I'm guessing he ascended to the throne in some other way.
