The level of play will be much higher if you keep it CS1... and less than a month to train up for a $5k pot? Terrible idea. You want to keep this tournament serious: keep it CS1. If you want it to be jokes and free money for the Japanese then make it CS2. Not to mention you're going to have a qualifier for an event that will be a different version at the tournament? Hour and a half drive... a much faster/cheaper trip than taking the train. I couldn't do it everyweekend, but it's a do-able trip. When Henry gets all the deatils ironed out about his hours/rates let me know. Bi-weekly GG meetups would be fucking godlike. I'd even bring my laptop to record.

I'm not sure about ECT... ECT1 ran so far past it's schedule that they had to have Grand Finals in someone's room. ECT2 had schedule problems (started stupid late) and the people working at the hotel were complete dicks. Remember the cop that came in trying to flex his cock and told LK he had to leave because we had beer in the room? I know that's not the TO's fault, but goddamn, talk about lame as fuck. I'm pretty sure one of the TO's also DQ'd Reggie in GGAC when he was in top4... really? ECT3 is already having problems with a venue: they originally planned it to be in AC, but their venue (I think it was the Tropicana) backed out last minute. When I talked to SweetJohnnyCage last he also said they were already working towards a new place. They better post the place and dates soon, because it should be planned for the end of May.
