If you just want them to stand into the curse, then yes except you don't need to teleport. Just make them block Exe Beast or w/e and throw out an overhead.

I feel overall it's better to just go for Exe Beast oki. More often than not, it's really not worth sacrificing okizeme to go for curse. Running away is fine provided you aren't at a massive life deficit. I tend to keep my distance after poisoning someone and let them hang themselves. Testament has tools well suited for keeping people out (f.S, 2S, j.S, j.D, Net, Skull).

Where exactly are you having trouble?

Pretty much everyone just does exe beast -> teleport midscreen. The tree setup you described wouldn't work due to the way tree works, and you'd likely just get thrown out of it. He's fairly different. Close-range game got bopped due to 6K/H Exe nerfs, but mid/long range got better. Honestly if you can play him now, it's not THAT big an adjustment, it took me all of one day to get used to him >_>
