Looking back at the original post where it was announced, the minimum requirement was at least 10 people. It should be ok as long as people don't flake.

If I show up, I may not be there until 5-6. Hopefully that isn't too late.

The new Blitz Shield changes really worried me at first because it really sounded like Ky's oki options were COMPLETELY screwed. But from what I'm reading, that may not actually be the case according to those who have had the chance to run some tests. I'm still concerned but I'll just have to wait and see how it works in the end or if they even choose to keep the changes. @Rath: Any idea where I can find the footage from the last tourney? A friend of mine was supposed to be in town around that time so he could attend, but someone threw a wrench into his plans so he couldn't make it. He wanted to see the footage but unfortunately I can't find it. :|

As always first and foremost, thanks to Rath and everyone who helped run the event. I'm glad to know that I can look forward to these events every month barring any prior commitments. I also don't feel so unfortunate now knowing that Super Arcade in SoCal hasn't relocated yet so they haven't had a Xrd event in almost 2 months. @Orrax: Congrats on winning P4AU and GGs in the tourney. Rivalry at its finest. @TagAnarchy: I'd be lying if I said I wasn't playing on tilt. My lack of experience in the Bedman matchup clearly showed. The Ky winquote vs. Bedman about "I barely escaped with my life" is quite appropriate albeit a little cheesy. Thanks for tearing me a new one because it's definitely a matchup on my to-do list. @Ted: You ONLY got AH3LM!!!!! just recently? Will you play me if you go to the next event? Also thanks for reminding me about SWR....the game that you and Darrell were playing ALL night back at Revelations so that I had to go into grand finals with no sleep. And GGs to everyone else I got to play in the tourney. A lot of funny things happened while I was playing on stream and I was laughing and just overall having a good time. Not too bad for my first Xrd tourney. Definitely looking forward to the next event, especially because of Melty! I have the feeling there are unwritten expectations for me to brush off all the rust by then, but I will try. As for Xrd system mechanics, my main concerns and changes I hope they implement in the next version are: 1) Remove Danger Time 2) Remove YRC slowdown. 3) Add AC-style throw breaks.

GGs to everyone last night! @Ray: Whatever it is the other guys told you regarding what I said about you, it's NOT true. But I will say you missed the opportunity to play Melty and MBHDR last night.

And similarly, I haven't played the game in like, 12 years either! And fyi Carlos and Tempered BOTH agreed that there was input lag on the stream setup back at Evo. Hell, back at WT15, you AND Tempered both agreed that the sticks were off. lol So get your facts straight. Also, why are you asking to enter the Melty tournament twice, or even, AT ALL? This is an AZ tournament, and you defected to Norcal remember? No room for frauds here. I'm also curious as to what exactly the "you know what" is in this context. You've made so many empty threats with an endless supply of "you know whats" that I've lost track. :|

For this month's tourney, I should be able to attend considering there's no major holiday coming up for a while. Since I have weekends off, any time is fine with me. A Melty tourney next month? Guys, isn't it a little early for April Fool's? I won't believe it until I see it. Though the thought of it has me excited, I'm not looking forward to another PC tourney. Time to go 0-2 due to input lag. I miss the PS2 days when this wasn't a problem. Also, as a general rule of thumb, don't believe anything that anyone says about me regarding Melty. It's only true when it comes from me. @Ray: I manged to pick up TT.......MBHDR off a recent holiday sale on XBL for bargain bin price. Hit me up with a friend request if you ever wanna play online for the lolz.

I'm down for Melty but to expect me to just throw away UNIEL would be foolish. If NEC is any indication, the game hasn't lost as much steam as everyone had thought. MBCC serves as a constant reminder of French Bread's infinite wisdom with releasing it only on PC. I'm glad they didn't make that mistake with UNIEL. But I'll leave it at at that for now. If anyone wants to play against me in Melty, just bug me if I don't look too busy with Xrd. I'll try to at least look like I haven't forgotten how to play the game.

Saw the stream archive and I regret not being there. Looks like there were some pretty exciting matches that went down. But as dippy said, real life is 0-10 matchup and I had to be out of town since I hadn't celebrated Christmas in SoCal since before I moved out here. It's unfortunate UNIEL didn't happen either. Evidently I also missed out on Melty that wasn't MBHDR. Hopefully both of these will happen next time.

Ah, so we did play each other at TGZ last Friday. I just wasn't sure. GGs! Ram is powerful in this game and definitely a character I'll have to study more. You must've been feeling pretty generous today.

GGs! Sorry I didn't get to play everyone in Xrd. I should be more proactive about asking to play against people, or maybe people should nag me for matches. One or the other. Wish I got in on the UNIEL action. I'm so out of shape in that game. :| Have fun at the tourney everyone and I'll see you next year.

Yeah, something weird is going on with the audio for my monitor. Dunno exactly what it is but I'll see if I can get it working in the meantime. I might head over in an hour or so but I won't be able to hang out afterwards since there's still unfinished tasks I need to get around to. So I'll probably be out by 8. :X

Any idea how many setups will be available? My monitor is acting up. I can bring my PS3 though if I show up.

Unfortunately I can't make it to the tourney on the 27th since I'll be out of town visiting family. So I guess I'll have to sit this one out. A pity because it's the first Xrd tourney and it sounds like it will be huge. I'll try to make it to TGZ tonight. Will additional PS3s be needed? If so I can bring one.
