  5. Hrm....I've never really been a fan of fighting games where the characters hover and fly around. But I'll wait until I've seen some footage of it in action.

I tried it and if you finish with the super, it does a total of about 85%. o.O It's really tricky to pull off consistently so I wouldn't go for it regularly but I like the start of the wall slam as it sets them up for perfect iad j.C > 236D looping. After slamming them, my new combo is now: 5D > 236D > IAD. j.A > 5D > 6B > [iad. j.C |> 236D]x3 > iad. j.D > 236236A. Basically it's just like the one in the video except minus one rep of the iad j.C |> 236D. And the last 2 combos you listed make me wanna rip my hair out just trying them. x_X
  7. Alright, so after I combo into CDE, my wallslam combo is 2C5D > 236D > iad.C > 5D > 236D > iad.BA |> 5D > 236236A. Probaby not the best variant, but the one I can perform consistently. D:

  9. Here are mine: The middle one is based on Blade's but I edited the coat, sword, and hair colors to suit my preferences.
  10. If you have GGX on your pc, you can take a screenshot of the sprite and then use photoshop's eye dropper tool to find the RGB values. That's what I did to bring back GGX colors.
  11. Go to the folder labelled "pal" and you can delete the edits from there. After that the colors will go back to default. And as for the sprites on the AC voting site, I would like those too. Does anyone have them?
  12. Do you think you could explain this in a little more detail? :X It seems that the notation is a bit confusing for me. When you do 236C, do you tap E immediately after the C? And for the 6CDE, do you tap C and D together, like C+D? 236C is the move that staggers them right? I don't know why but the 236C sometimes misses after the 2Bs. Maybe I'm just doing it too slow. Lately I've just been trying to find a wallslam combo that works. So far one that I've been practicing is: C+D(hold 6), 2C c.5D f.D 236D > IAD j.B |> B f.D 236A236A I can't get it 100% because the IAD part is annoying. <.< I'm betting that this one isn't even all that practical because starting off with C+D is slow. How do you combo into that move? Using boost?
  13. Now I can do the bnb without any trouble but I had to alter it a bit. Now I just need to practice corner loops and such. :X If you don't have any aura stocks, what is a good move to end a corner combo?
  14. I've gotten the game now and the game engine is pretty foreign to me. How exactly does the combo system work? And what are some good starter combos for Ken that don't require a lot of boost?

  16. I don't really need to claim my color since I've been sporting it since I found out it was going to be in AC.
  17. I would rather just save the lightning otg hit when the opponent is low on health and continue pressure after an LJ. But some of the more recent match videos the players use it after throws. Not sure why. Also, when I was playing last weekend, I noticed that it's possible for the attack to miss if you do it too late. If that happens and they're close to you, then you're going to have a sad Ky.
  18. Oh man, luckily that wasn't MY Ky whose RtL got beat out by j.H otherwise I'd have to start busting heads. lol But I felt like dying after I saw that. There was an army of Ky's there last night but we fell to his Robot alter ego. x_X CH 2H is stupid. But you can still combo after it if you super jump. I couldn't do it though because, yeah, see above. From what we all saw last night, star mine needs to be FDed in the air.
  19. Heidern and I played the game last night and I'd have to agree about a lot of the nerfs. It really hurts his game but neither of us and the other Ky players there could really utilize his new stuff effectively. As for tier placement I don't really have an opinion but from what I've seen in matches I'm predicting that he's more or less mid. I couldn't exactly "test" out anything because aside from the fact that I can't play stick, the pad configuration that I was using practically crippled me. Botched block strings left and right and being unable to RC and FRC. :\ Regarding the shine, it seems to be best utilized as a defensive move. I couldn't seem to use it effectively in combos but I guess because I was doing it too slow. But as seen before, it's a great anti-air. There were times when I've been hit out of it though because you have to go through the CSE startup before the attack materializes. So I guess the attack materialization time is 1 frame but the part before it is not. Lightning javelin loops are hard. I couldn't quite get the timing down for it at all. I think it was mentioned earlier in this thread or another one that it was no longer possible to combo off an anti-air CH 6P. This is not true. The standard close 5S-2H-VT followup is still possible. Oh yeah, there was this one WTF moment last night as well. Ky's RtL gets BEAT OUT by Ky's j.HS. -_-

As for pink Ky, you'll probably have to wait for the home release. :P huge electrical sphere = shine stun raising = star mine (for those who get the ssbm and mbac reference) ;P There seems to be some confusion as to the number of Ky's new and ex colors. Anyone care to screenshot the known ones so far?
  22. Yeah, kuro Ky from GGX ftl. He has some really hawt colors in GGX and any one of them should have made it over that color. Oh well. Being able to have more than one stun raising out at one time looks like a lot of fun. It could grant you plenty of control over the playing field.
  23. Dammit. <.< They soooooo should have used #R start. Or his 2-button color from X. Oh well I'll be more than happy to stick with XX Dust. I just hope for the home release they make every single color available in some way.
  24. So there are only 5 default colors? That blows. I'll be using the XX Dust color (white + black linings + red/orange hair) or the #R start color (if it's there).
  25. It looks like the new frc points on his ground and air stun edges will allow him to go into his air dash mixups a lot faster than the CSE frcs did.
