if 6H were to retain its current speed and j.D's untechable time stayed the same, it'd be a one frame link to hit it during dust loop anyways...which in retrospect sounds completely and totally awesome to me. bring on the manlier-than-Slayer combos. I don't see it happening, though. it's incredibly stupid to fish for counter hits with 6H anyways. it's in counter hit state for the entirety of the move, and the hitbox is kinda silly on it. I don't think 2H really needs anything either. it works fine on hit with a tight link into 5K or RC into combo, and on block it makes for a good frame trap. making it a frame or two faster obviously couldn't hurt, though. Ryan-Bill really touched on the only thing that I think needs a big change, 5Sf. it's shit. it's slow, clunky, and it extends hos' hitbox way too much. I'd honestly rather have Slash 5Sf back, because it at least had a semi-decent use. there's one thing I'd really like to change about hos, though. SV needs to remain grounded until after the first hit. this will really help in the Eddie matchup, because I can know just SV RC little Eddie without having to put myself into too risky pf a situation. the risk/reward factor on lv1 SV will also greatly shift. something like that won't really affect any other matchup too drastically, imo. there are ways to compensate for that lowered risk/reward factor, like having the action charge point shifted until later in the move so that it'll still get punished heavily if you don't have 50%.

Eddie vs Pot is a laughably bad matchup. I've certainly seen my fair share of clutch FAB wins (over the likes of Isa and Ogawa), but I've just got a good feeling about this. I think the bracket draws are entirely fair. each and every team in SBO is scary as shit this year.

I definitely stick with j.P/K, j.S on everyone but the really heavy guys. it's not worth it to go for j.H when it's sort of iffy in nearly every situation. In the first place, you're not dashing. you can't hit all 4 reps of j.H, j.D without dashing in after the throw (except for AX/DI/FA/SL, iirc). try to delay the timing between j.H and j.D as long as possible, not delay the jump cancel. You need to be hitting that j.D when you're close to falling already. This is the key to hitting it consistently on every character. Most of them have drastically different delays.

josh ballard posting You don't actually want to do it TOO late, that's what makes the combo counter go black. Timing isn't too tight, just do it a bit earlier than you would think.

Switch your PC to JP region. it's in Regional and Language options. I had the same problem until I stopped trying to run it through applocale and just switched my PC's language settings.

That's exactly what I feared for US AC+ when I heard they were doing "bug" fixes. it doesn't seem to be in the arcade version or US AC from all that I've encountered, so you just basically confirmed for me why I'm going to refuse to play on AC+ in tournaments. well, that and the horrific load times I've had to suffer with it.

That shit happens to me all the time in AC+, but I've never had it happen in US AC. used to happen with SV alot, but I've also had it happen with BRP.

Zero Flame had an oki setup for the second pillar off of a lv3 BRP, but getting that shit off of sweep makes it somewhat viable. +32 with only lv2 just sounds too godlike. I've been using lv1 BRP a lot more recently, and it's pretty fucking retarded how many people eat lv1 BRP into Gold Burst.

I'm not hitting that hot shit consistently by any means. lol dropped combos are definitely the norm for me no matter how much I practice my dust loops. I roll my sjs because I'm awesome and play pad. I've seen Ryan-Bill accidentally hit BRP when going for sj.IAD j.K, too, so it can't be that rare to have people roll through the motion for it.

Stop sucking and dropping sj.IAD combos. There's no reason to miss with j.P ever. it's a HOS staple and a good HOS must be able to use it. The only downside to j.K is that you'll occasionally get a TK'd BRP. if that happens though, you just need to make a more deliberate attempt to hit 236956 instead of 23696. Or just not cycle through all of the motions during your sj. The line between cv combos and bnb's is extremely thin. I use j.H, j.D, j.H, j.D | dashing j.H, j.D, j.H, j.D | j.H, j.D, j.H, j.D regularly against mids/heavies. I lack the chest hair to try dust loop into Fafnir on anyone other than Pot, though.
