  1. Just look for N-O or N-Otoko, never seen anybody list him as N-Ou before this thread lol. 2nd place does not get through but there are still plenty of qualifying tournaments left.
  2. well most of the regulars will be at A-Kon this weekend but our BB players are pretty much there every day, though we might not always be playing BB i'm on dustloop.com talking about dragon installs
  3. not a lot of reason to post a lot here since out last two megathreads got deleted =[

  7. the Horo wall is Austin's best worst kept secret
  8. Happs are the best parts don't be so RACIST
  9. If you mean "are we still using the same style of sticks now that we used back in the day," then... yes and no. Most arcades in the US used Happs and Happs knock-off parts (Einstein's used Happs while it was still around, for example). If you played at an arcade years ago, you probably played on Happs. UFO uses sticks/buttons from Japanese manufacturers, primarily Sanwa parts (I think a few setups have Seimitsu parts?). There isn't really a cycle of styles or anything, Japan has been using Sanwa/Seimitsu parts since like forever and since UFO is a Japanese style arcade, it only makes sense to use Japanese parts. ...plus it's not like there's much demand for American arcade parts these days. As for adjustment between the two, maybe it would be an issue if you had been playing exclusively on Happs sticks for years and years of regular playtime before switching to Sanwa/Seimitsu. If not... dunno what there is to "adjust" to other than playing on sticks in general.
  10. LATE REPLY Dunno what you mean by "depth" since everybody has their own made up definitions for what makes a game DEEP. If you mean the game has no depth because they got rid of the underwater stages from RvZ2, I wholeheartedly agree, cities aren't DEEP like oceans mannnnnnnnng If by "depth" you mean "complexity," then I dunno what part about "2v2 aerial footsies using lasers and boost cancels, primarily focusing on teamwork, positioning, and boost management" looks like it doesn't have much depth.
  11. that sounds like a super idea and yeah furix got Tri and has been playing that! If I had a Wii, I would be too :V
  12. Melty Bread thread Official site in moonspeak
  13. Update with most/all of the console characters, new hardware, plus some balance changes on top of what the console version already did.
  14. oh I haven't gotten on my 360 in a while I'll do that right now!
  15. 60gig PS3? Nope. Mod a PS2 (super easy these days), get a Japanese PS2, or try to run it on an emulator if you have a good computer.
  16. I could teach you Lambda stuff except I'm not in Austin this weekend. She's not that hard to play really, just gotta be on point with your zoning and blocking.
  17. I won't be in Austin Thurs-Sat so whatever!
  18. I'll be at the arcade just chilling, but I'd be down for a session. Probably depends on how available Pozer is after his not-UFO job.
  19. with that kind of attitude you probably still suck at GG/BB/MBAA there's like no good source of AH3 info in English atm (there's some effort being put into that but it's mostly people who have just started playing) and the Japanese wikis don't have a ton of content, so unless you want to sift through a lot of moonspeak in random BBS your best bet is show up to UFO and play and ask the good players for info/help
  20. little did you know that my face down card was a trap card that turns Egyptian god cards into gummies.
  21. just play, you're in Austin so you have no excuse
