I've played plenty of AC+ EX matches so shrug. EasyModeNub: Like half the cast has command grabs, moreso in EX. EX Ky's isn't anything special. EX Sol gets a dust loop off his, EX Potemkin gets a combo (and has a dashing chain grab into super), etc. etc. Again, if you can't block EX Ky's slow as hell overheads (one is only overhead on like the 2nd hit, one has a huge obvious pause before he hits, and the other is... his Dust) then just learn to block high. Yeah, you can get taken by surprise by an overhead here and there but generally speaking they're nothing awesome. EX Ky is still a zoning, frame trap, hit/throw mixup character.

uh dude EX Sol 236D uses meter and stalls tension gain so he doesn't get unlimited lockdown (plus it doesn't even go all the way across the screen anymore), you can dodge EX Ky 22D and his overheads are as slow as ever... not like 22D does any damage. People obviously aren't playing enough EX matches to comment on this stuff ;( EX Sol is good because he gets like 2-3 mixups off 236D oki, not because it "locks down" or anything. He then gets to dust loop off whatever. If you can't block EX Ky overheads or spot grab mixups then you have no place saying how good or bad any EX character is since you're just losing to crappy moves. That's like saying Robo-Ky is top tier because you can't block his dust. Speaking of Robo-Ky, I really wish his FB EXPLODE was better.

shrug Kirei doesn't seem THAT good, I think it's more kubo than Kirei D: His damage seems to be capping off at around 3.7k, which is good but nothing spectacular (Shirou is doing about the same damage, albeit with a combo that seems to get dropped a bit more often). I'm sure someone will figure out something a bit beefier in the future, but right now it takes Kirei at least 3-4 combos to kill, and while kubo makes it look easy (and his opponents love to just randomly eat hits for no reason)... just doesn't seem to add up. No way he's as good as Saber, who just randomly kills you if you so much as twitch the wrong way. Not yet, at least. Lancer has bigger, more damaging combos from further out (burst safe, too) and seems to just be a pain for people to handle in a way that Kirei isn't.

I find it funny that you're trying to make a tier list when you haven't even seen all the characters in vids yet, haven't ever played the game, and have no real context to know what the actual metagame is like at this point other than a few videos from like 2-3 sites.

Jae combos can be fun. s.A/c.A/c.B, c.C XX QCF+D/QCFx2+K s.A/c.A/c.B > c.B XX QCFx2+K close C/D(1 hit) XX d+AB, c.C XX QCF+D/QCFx2+K hop A, charge d,u+K > brake, QCFx2+K close C/D(1 hit) XX d+AB, close C/D(1 hit) XX d+AB, c.D backdash+B, QCFx2+K corner, backdash+B, charge d,u+K corner, whatever from above into QCFx2+A, QCFx2+B etc. etc. Easy and you can get good damage without meter. In response to an old post... Tizoc can d+AB (PECK) to anti-air pretty well. Takes a bit of timing against hops, though.

Freeman's damage is okay but he's no Terry or Grant or even like Kain or whatever. Still, c.B XX super isn't too bad. Anybody else playing this game on GGPO yet? Also to answer the question about using Jae's 214K, it's okay as a GC since it's a bit faster than his other GC options (other than flashkick if you can do JD~GC flashkick). Other than that, you want to end combos with 236D or 236A/C... or super if you have it.

I don't see why Saber would need "good mixups" when she can just sidestep around and punish things or plain hit people out of stuff into 50-60% combos.

On Jam in the corner, can't you do (low launch) > 5H JC [jH, K JC djK, D > 2K, K], land, 5H XX Pilebunker? Or if you're not feeling the PB ender you could just do some generic jD ender and it'd still hurt more than all kick and weaker-than-jP j2K combos.

Glad to see a good Archer, though I will probably play Berserker since he is hilariously out of place with the rest of FS/N. Actually I might play Archer just to try to combo UBW every chance I get.

Pretty old lol, in the corner you'll probably want to do a rep or two of her dashpunch loop to get damage before using your homing, or just do fire loop for a few reps. Air 360 ender is a lot nicer midscreen, in the corner you're probably better off just taking your j2C knockdown.

There's plenty of ways to get more damage lol, but it depends on situation and how much effort you're willing to put into it. But the fastest way to improve that combo is drop the Footloose at the end so you get knockdown.

[iadP, K] followups are almost exactly the same, unless your timing is weird. Now if you're randomly catching mid-air opponents with [iadP, K] then sometimes you can't get H followup so you need to 2S (S)JC into whatever, but in a set combo situation you shouldn't have that problem too often.

yeah that's pretty mundane, you can cancel your landing recovery from a normal jump into whatever and it will still count you as in jump-state till you go to neutral, so for Slayer you cancel landing recovery into 5H then superjump cancel that. Also a midscreen 75% tension combo on Testament (from about starting position)- K, DoT FRC [jH, K], land, H SJC [sjH, D > 2K, K], land, c.S JC [jS, P > K JC djD] - 324 + corner knockdown Also, hilarious stupid 75% tension combo on Testament (from about starting position)- K XX 2369K RC c.S X 214P > D, 236K, K XX 2369K, P JC [jS(2) > 2K, K JC djK > 2K, D] - 265 damage

AC+ EX characters are different from US AC. EX Slayer combines #R combo difficulty and AC combo damage. I haven't messed with his BDC yet, hopefully it's #R goodness.
