  4. From what I can tell, Jin pressure seems to be a lot of frametraps rather than actual mixup. So, you try to make them think they can escape and catch them with something, meaning your pressure shouldn't be airtight... If that's what you mean.

  9. In this case, you're just canceling j.B into a j.A and whiffing on purpose (because the entirety of j.A is shorter than the lag of j.B, by 5 frames) and then continuing pressure.

  11. BlazBlue hasn't been out for years; it only goes back like a year or so. Like I said, I don't really care when it's from as long as it's actually from Gamechariot and not a lossy re-encode as is found on YouTube, etc. If you really want something more specific, I'm mostly interested in Jin and my favorite players are Buppa and Dennou. More recent is better, obviously, as the metagame does evolve, but again, I'll take anything, really.

  15. Also, I've been trying to meaty with 214H off of a throw, so I set the CPU to block and jump, and it always gets off the ground. Shouldn't a true meaty hit them before their jump executes? Is it possible to do this with 214H?
  16. I'm having a lot of trouble IADing low enough that j.2S hits a crouching opponent. I know it's just a matter of practice to get the IAD lower, but can someone just tell me if it's possible to land it on all crouching characters, and if not, which characters it won't work on? Also, if there are characters it doesn't work on, what am I supposed to do instead?

  19. I predict that BlazBlue will be highly unbalanced because everything is entirely new (hopefully; we already have Ky, Sol, and Pot but shrug). Guilty Gear took many generations to become as balanced as it is. I'm aware that the same people are making BB, so they won't be stumbling in the dark, but there will be many things that players discover to disrupt (to some extent) the intended balance.

  23. The point of this thread (well, my thread anyway ;_; ) was so that stupid things like that wouldn't happen, definitely go with noboru. Anyway, thanks for remaking this thread, rtl. Your kana explanation is pretty awesome, hopefully now some people who aren't even familiar with Japanese can help out. Later, I'll go through a bunch of names and add them to a list. It would be cool if people could just go to this thread and CTRL-F some moonrunes for a romanized name.
