Hey. Not sure if this kind of topic is okay or not but I've been having a hard time with BBCP. I've mained Ragna since CT and I feel how lacking I am especially in this installment. It almost feels like I'm playing him and the game wrong with how many losses I have. So I tried Jin. While I like some aspects of Jin, I feel like I may not go far with him either. So I think I should try learning a new character and start over. I'm thinking Bang or Azreal, but I need some advice. Who should I try? Also if this is a forbidden topic I'm sorry and you can take it down. Haven't posted on here in quite a while.

I sure hope they balance the new dlc characters this time, plus seeing Lamdba back is nice but Nu losing her second stance which is Lambda's moveset sucks also.

I'd just do CH 5H GV to be solid and CH 5H CLBB for when I want to be crazy and intimidate the other player. Also I need some help confirming dustloops better. The timing in #R I have okay after going back recently and trying. In AC+R however I can't get even the first loop complete. P.S. Hi it's been a while

Anyone got information on the Ragna/old man Wolf matchup? I get blasted so fast and everything seems too good. I think if I can get good spacing I could get great anti-air like a CH 6A combo into knockdown and try to keep them from moving/jumping. Any tips? Sent from my ALCATEL ONE TOUCH 5020N using Tapatalk

Ok I got around to test out counters so here they are 6P - Our own 6P: Sol's is still faster than Order-Sol's and can lead to good damage in some situations. - 2HS: You will have to input just as HOS moves his fist back. - f.5S: can stop run-in 6P attempts - 5HS: same as f.5S - 5K: still is our best normal in terms of speed and uses. - 2D: still "ONE WITH THE EARTH" with this move as well. You''ll have to make sure you hit first, since 6P hits crouching characters. Storm Viper (Ground version) -2HS: You can either block the first two hits or space well enough it catches him on ascent The former method may not work on lvl. 3 since he either hits you with the heel drop or you end up switching sides after blocking and can't land the 2HS. - 5K: Still the best anti-air - Volcanic Viper: still the best DP lvl.2 Block Head Buster - Just block. Couldn't figure out a way to counter up-close. j.HS, j.K, j.P, j.S - 2HS: VR, you were right about that low jump arc. Makes countering this move easier, but you'll have to throw the move out before he lands on your hurtbox - 5K: Still best anti-air - Volcanic Viper: Still best DP 6K - 2D: Lets you get back to your roots and land a still great counter hit - GV: Slide under his foot and POW! To the sky! I'll edit this post when I can test his other specials and crouching moves. I looked at our frame data on the wiki and Sol's 2D is faster and seems to have longer reach since Order-Sol's 2D reach got nerfed in Plus R, but he also has better frame advantage on block and faster recovery.

Order-Sol is scarier in this installment. His lvl2 Rock-it gives him hard knockdown for oki and lvl2 BHB is a good punish that sends you straight to the wall if you're anywhere near the corner. It's best to keep yourself away from the corner at all times. Also just to keep calm when HOS has lvl2-3 charge, blocking wrong will let him do so much, thanks to charge meter's changes and overall improvements on his normals. Good thing VV is still amazing in cases of being under pressure.

So glad I bought the game for both PS3 and 360. At least no need to buy the JP release right now. Just wanted to say it's great so far but I seem to be unable to adjust to Sol's changes.

My advice is to generally not use Bandit Bringer like so even when properly spaced to avoid punishment. You could but remember make sure there's more gain than loss from using that BB. Learn Gun Flame FRC and blockstrings going into it or after that. You'll need that more. Hope I helped.

So after deciding to sit down take time, I finally got the proper rip of voices and sound effects from accent core. this is only from vanilla AC though, a friend has my AC+ still, so no George!Sol yet. Gonna convert it to mp3 and have that available along with the WAV originals. Both will be organized like this. .General sound effects . Character voices (seperated by voice sets A,B,C and vs a certain character, each their own folder) can hopefully have that done and made available by Monday.

If you mean Ragna as deadly as the Black Beast, that's Unlimited Ragna. If you mean Ragna infused with the Black Beast, I also hope Bang becomes more relevant.

...Don't wanna be that guy, but while this pressure talk is intriguing, let's keep it civil and keep it related to Ragna's own pressure options and avoid debating on the term as a whole. Ragna's tools are good, but that's just it. Compared to practically the rest of the cast, the Ragna player has to dig deep and use plain but safe normals to simply land a hit, and most Ragnas can't get past that, myself included. This is because we can't seem to get out of the "do unsafe shit on a whim and hope it works" phase because Ragna actually has to at times. others do too, but Ragna gets blown up hard; since he's a 'beginner' archetype character by simply having a lower learning curve compared to Arakune or Hakumen. So let's start using that to our advantage more often, that he s simply a good character with simple yet effective tools combined with good reading of the oppnent lets Ragna stay alive longer than just going in.

most of the original tracks in P4U were by another guy apparently, Atsushi Kitajoh. My main complaint is they mostly sound the same and get boring, especially Mitsuru's. My favorites are Akihiko, Kanji, Yuu, and Labrys. Or I just put on MASS DESTRUCTION when in training mode.
