All of their pads use the same dpad and it always breaks, sometimes within like a month or two after purchase... I keep buying them though because they're what I'm used to lol...

From looking at your files there, my guess is you might be trying to patch the exe you've already patched with the english translation. This doesn't work unfortunately... If this is the case, find your exe backup or a copy of an unpatched exe and try that instead.

Since I never poke around irc I'm beginning to wonder if everyone has decided to move over to the other server. I pop onto nuru and there's like 30 people with 300 ish ping and maybe 1 person who can actually play with me, and when I look at the access panel for the other server there's usually at least 5 people in there that I've had decent pings with. I'm wondering if I should lurk on over and get on there instead... This kinda worries me though...

I'm not certain, but I'm pretty sure that discussion of torrents and other methods of obtaining the game that're technically against the law are frowned upon on these boards. That said, I don't see anything wrong with mentioning that your patcher issue is probably due to the fact that you need to run the patching shtuffs in compatibility mode for windows 95.

I was away from #R online for a while and coming back did screw up my frc timing... I managed to get over it eventually by playing online exclusively. I guess there's just not much to do except practice..
