Really? On my slidecard case it says it work on all versions of PS2 fat and thin. i have a fat one though.

I think the cheapest and easy way to mod the Ps2 is the slide card. It cost $20-$30 and it's so easy to use and install, took me like ten minutes to be able to use the slidecard.

Okay whores, i set up my slide card and am now ready to rock and roll. to bad i have to wait maybe a week to get my copy of slash. I don't any other imports so i cant test to see if it works yet. I used swap magic and then put in the american copy of GGxx and said not a valid ps2 game so hopefully it will work with a japanese game.

I haven't set it up yet. i was thinking of doing it this Monday before 3pm pacific time. so if your on aim during that time i will as for help. i dont know what time that is where you live.

I know how to beat a Cholo using slayer that plays with the right hand on the joystick and the left hand to push buttons, crossover style. His slayer aint that good, i just need info incase i come across any real good slayers.

so you gonna post why you think Faust is the favorite against slayer SDV? i had some good matches against slayer today, i changed my mind i think faust is better in this matchup. i beat slayer at the arcade using joysticks, i would have beat him worse if it was on PS2 and i used the d-pad. just used alot of 5k when he tried to jump in and 5s to stuff his backdashes and 236p motions.

Damn slayer, i keep losing to this mexican guy who uses the joysticks backwards: he uses his right hand to control the joystick and left hand to push the buttons, is that sad? so yeah, i would give the Pote Vs Slayer match, a little in SLayers Favor. one mess up and slayer does enough damage to take almost have the bar with one combo

i don't think dizzy's 236s is useless. it helps her in her corner traps. May's restive roller does nothing except add couple more damage points at end of dust combos. and i hate using RR at the end of combos. Ok i just beat Resident Evil 4, now it's time to try and install my slide card for SLASH!! i liked GOD of War better, it should have won game of the year instead of RE4

i was wondering what matches are good and which are bad for Fausts? I recently played a slayer and i think that Fausts is the better one in this match. any opinions or does the slayer i played just suck? in the match i used alot of standing slash, to hit him while he used his dashing. I also played against a good I'no and lost i couldn't do much under i'no's note pressure except use a DAA and then rush in, but i still lost. Just any info on which characters he's good against and which ones he is not good against.

I think i will wait, to try to mod it until im done playing Resident Evil 4. i don't want to mess up my playstation and not be able to beat RE4 first.

which characters depend more on Overdrives than other characeters? In my opinion it is Potemkin and then May? i dont really see other characters use their overdrives as much.

i talked to the guy that fixes the games at camalot. i asked him if they were going to get guilty gear slash and he said that he told his boss about the game and that it was his boss's decision if they got the game or not. later saying "thats business for ya" what ever that means. so i guess it's up to his boss whether or not camalot gets it. it will prolly be a while, if they even get it at all. at least he asked the big boss if they could get the game. moving in the right direction i guess. now to see how long it takes

Im for having it the tourney be #R. Most people won't have slash and will take some getting use to. SO im for having it be #R and after the tourney we can play slash for fun and practice. then tourney's after that should be / since it will have plenty of time for everyone to practice and get use to new changes.
