  1. Glad to see I'm not the only one who had that problem then. *phew* Made me feel extra scrubby when that happened in the heat of battle... I'll have to work on Slash Back Canceling. Never messed with it before, but I know its worth the little while in training mode it takes to get it down.
  2. Ok. I'm not TERRIBLY new at playing Jam. But I don't know her like the back of my hand either. Is 6H her only throw invulnerable normal? If not, what other throw invulnerable moves does she have?
  3. Axl having a quick "jab-like" normal would be awesome! Also, he should get his 4P back from GGX. If I'm not mistaken, it was the same animation as 5P, but it only went half way across the screen. That would make for some mind games and stuff. Maybe against the characters who are too small to get hit by 5p. If they see 4p, they may start to run in to punish. But WHOOPS! And ya get em with something good... like... a quick "jab-like" normal. And he needs a backdash like Potemkin!
  4. I think so... Just make sure you go from 2k to like 1K+P or something. I get carried away and end up hitting 214 and doing that damn shuriken... I'm a sub-par Chipp player though, so before you consider your question answered, I'd suggest waiting for ATG or sugata to post. :P
  5. I think I'm with Mr. Stark, here. (With Axl), if I know they can't beat my f.S, then I'll usually use it. My friend who uses Testament gets counter happy sometimes. When I think he's gonna start with it, I use 5p, then immediately buffer 6236P. If I hit P too slow, and Testament gets to the other side of me 214P will come out instead. Either way, PWNED! But my Testament friend is a bit scrubby, so I probably wouldn't do that to the average Testy. If I'm playing Chipp, I usually start by running away.
  6. It...IS useful? Wait! Was that sarcasm?!
  7. Giving the opponent tension can't really be good? I wouldn't wanna give anyone MORE chances to RC and FRC! Meh... Hell if I know. Im sure its just for S&Gs
  8. I'll have to stop neglecting Benten from now on. It's just the FRC is so hard for me to get right on hit... Back to practice mode. Thanks, DW, for the awesome info. I didn't think of any of this (besides Benten as an occasional reversal).
  9. Damn... Can't say I wouldn't mind if regular Chipp was this bad ass though... Awesome combo vid.
  10. Thank you for your help! :D
  11. OH!!! DOOOOOOD!!!!!!!! That's why it never happened on my air Alphas but always on my TK Alphas. Damn I feel dumb after that. Thanks for that. :D So you can't do any TK Alpha FRC combos?

    Fake FRCs

Sounds kinda... meh? I mean, if it didn't cost anything, why wouldn't you just be flashing all over the place to mask your real FRCs? Hell if I know... I don't think they would be TOO terribly useful as a mindgame. I mean, you pretty much know which normals your opponent can RC or FRC to get anywhere. If someone does a jab, then a FRC flash appears, I wouldnt think much of it. But, like I said, Hell if I know.
  13. Ok. I've been trying to hold off asking this, for fear of looking particularly scrubby, but I can wait no longer. Whenever I'm using the Air Alpha/ TK Alpha FRC, my chipp always zooms diagonally upward. I can't do any combos because of this. How do I get Chipp to... not do that..? I'm a pad scrub, so... yeah... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
