In the corner from IOH j.a you have 3 main combo routes. 1) j.a j.b (dash) 5b 5cc 5b 6a 236a 3c for this one, walk backwards a bit if you are too close after the 5cc before continuing 2) j.a j.b (dash) 5b 5cc 5b 6a 236a 6a BBL self explanatory, combo into super 3) j.a j.b (dash) 5b 5c 214c 4b 5cc (summon stuff) 3c this route requires a pole already out but gets your better oki with both pumpkin and frog

I don't have anything special, but you can just dash up and otg 5b 6a 236a~

With the 1.1 changes, you can do 2C (CH) 2d microdash 5b6a236a etc, but it is still a short starter so I'm not sure if you can do the remaining 3c iris 5cc.

This was day 1 footage so N-O was testing stuff such as lotus oki. I don't think the hitbox changed on lotus, just the attack level and startup.

It's either that or they made it so that the pumpkin isn't active immediately upon pressing D and it has to wait a frame or two to start moving? Slowing down the startup of Barrel Lotus and Beelze Lotus will make it hard to use them during a combo probably, but it's not like we are doing that often anyway. It's worth noting that the universal nerf to proration on jumping attacks will reduce the damage output from all of Rachel's viable overheads. I misread, that should be a BUFF to damage from Rachel's overhead combos.

Raising the entry fee AND no prizes for tournament winner? Feels like a $5 donation for people who haven't been able to make it to every Rebel Up... I feel like at least $1 out of that should be tourney prizes.

So Bananaken tested Rachel's escape options out of Kokonoe infinite blockstring. She has 2 escape methods: IB the fireball while standing up then cat chair, or pick a spot and counter assault. Doesn't sound ideal but at least it's something.

Fully agree that the infinite blockstring isn't what people should be fixating on. Kokonoe was already incredibly strong and potentially ban-worthy before this. As Eshi said, it's simply the last straw.

For better proration and damage, Rachel can combo her instant j.a directly into j.c against some characters. This also has a side effect of making a dash 5b in the corner less strict. j.a -> j.c connects on crouching: Easy tier: Taokaka, Tager, Hakumen, Amane, Bang* Delay the j.c cancel: Hazama, Terumi, Ragna, Jin, Kagura, Valkenhayn, Bullet, Noel Strict tier: Relius (cancel to j.c ASAP, angle specific) Carl (delay the j.c cancel, angle specific) *remember to do Bang specific combos after. In the corner, I use j.a j.c dash 5b 5cc 5b 6a 4b (delay) 236a 3c for 1933

Also note that you can use 2d wind then jump forward to put yourself closer for the j.a.

In the corner vs bang, you can do ~5cc dash 5b 6a 4b (delay) 236a, then either end with 3c or do dash 5b 6a BBL

Still works in the videos I've been seeing. I also saw a lobelia whiff fatal j.2c lvl3 in the corner (gamechariot vid vs Lambda), so it seems that they did put it back in, though I have my doubts about whether the midscreen version is still in.

Well, I can confirm polka's understanding of those is correct, and add that the first line says that j.a is also unchanged (i'm assuming it means you can use it for an instant overhead still). That damage sounds way too crazy for day 1 though. Perhaps it is just someone trolling BBS.
