I replaced the P2 Guilty Gear stick with a brand new one, so no more problems with it. See you guys Sunday (and maybe Saturday). -

If you want to play on my PS3, please brings your own sticks. I've only got one stick, and it's not entirely in the best of shape. -

Be there tomorrow. I'll bring my PS3 so we can all Makoto it up! P.S. Scott Pilgrim vs. The World rocks! Go see it when it comes out. -
Well, if you have streaming equipment for Component HD, that would be awesome. If not, I have no plans, but Strider_Zer0 might be there to record with his camera and tripod. Long story short, bring equipment for a stream, that would be awesome.

Current Code = too expensive Vanilla AA = decently cheap. It's definitely better than having Act Cadenza ver. B. Also, AA Vanilla runs on the same board as AC, so we can just pop the disc in and it will work. Current Code requires the new Sega RingWide board, a board that I doubt we would use for any other game. (RingWide is the lower of the Ring series, there's RingWide and RingEdge. It's like Taito X and Taito X2, very few games use Taito X.) I doubt we'd ever get Current Code until the price drops significantly.

GGs Raptor and everyone else. Glad to see you interested in CS BadX ^_^ So yeah, I got Makoto and Mu. I'll be bringing in my PS3 Thursday so we can play with them. -
Just got Makoto now, so she'll be available for the tournament. Got all the extra colors, too.

Eh, there's not enough options with her drive. I can only place her satellites in a few places. If there was a 3D, 1D, or something that gave you more control I think I'd like her. I play Carl, so positioning is important, but it feels like my opponent could just move and the satellites aren't much of a threat any more. It also doesn't help that she's not in the arcade version, so I can only get so much practice with her game theory. I'm going to check her out some more, but it doesn't look like I'll Second her. I like Platinum as a character, so hopefully I'll like her play style. -
On-Topic note: I know Makoto is coming out August 5th, a couple days before the tournament, but we might not have her in it. It more or less depends on whether she'll be released for the US PS3 version or not. Shouldn't be too big of a deal for this tournament since I doubt anyone would want to play a 2 day old character, but hopefully she'll be available for the next tournament.

I'm all hyped from beating story mode in BBCS, so I should be down Tuesday night for some matches. -
Personally I really want to play it, it looks good. The KoFXIII board is a little cheaper cheaper than Tekken 6: BR, too. There's some good reasons for getting Tekken 6, also. But I think we're swaying for KoFXIII. Keep in mind, though, there's no guarantee that we'll get either of them. There's a lot of expenses flowing right now, and if we save up enough instead of buying a new game, it's possible we could get 4 SSF4 boards instead of just 2. Also, we might get Melty Blood Actress Again... There's a lot of options and we're considering all of them.
-
Actually that board kind of was smoking and parts got burned. We're looking to fix it, but for now we have a less inclusive board with no JoJos or Street Fighter the Movie T_T. But at least it still has Twinkle Star Sprites ^_^

4 cabinets, all with the possibility of head-to-head. 2 of them currently have BlazBlue CS (Head-to-head), the other two have filler games (Virtua Striker 2000 & Zero Gunner 2) until we get something big. ATM, we're debating between Tekken 6 and King of Fighters XIII. I vote for KoFXIII, but it's all up to Ralph. Money is always an issue, considering we just bought BlazBlue, we bought 4 awesome cabinets, and we need to have money left over for SSF4. So the biggest question is which would give more bang for its buck, KoFXIII or T6 (again, I say KoF). Our KoF scene isn't as hot as AIs, though, so it's more of a risk than theirs. FFA is much bigger on Street Fighter and MvC2 than most other games. Also it seems like the TvC scene is game for having their tournaments along with ours on the same days (same time as BB). Since TvC is the same sub-genre, I think it will go well. BB will get the big screen though =P. RoyalFlush will be running the TvC tournament, and yours truly will be taking care of BlazBlue. I'm going to need a volunteer for either Melty Blood or Guilty Gear (and I can cover the other one), but I don't think that should be much of a problem.
-
Just added a TvC part of the tournament. RoyalFlush and the rest of the SoCal TvC asked to join us, and I figured it would work out. idk if it will be a regular thing or not, but we'll see.

^_^ Carl with two bursts used in one round ftw! There's a TvC tournament going on today, so I'm going to be at FFA just to make sure it goes alright. If you guys stop by for games, I'll be glad to take some challengers. -

GGs Severin, Seung, $2, Advent, and Blue Garbage. GGs also to all I played in MB and GG. I'm getting pretty hyped up for next week's tournament! -
I still play Carl, but I'm considering picking up Platinum when she comes out. I haven't had much practice to play CS, since FFA just got the board a little over a week ago, and AI is really far from me (I live near Denjin). But fortunately my playstyle crossed over really well.

Story Mode is cramping my BB practice >.< I'm still trying to be in top form for next Sunday, though.

BBCS has been non-stop play for several hours now, and it should keep up till close to closing (we close at 4AM tonight). MB and GG are getting play, too, but if nobody's on, you'll get a challenger if you start it. I get off in a few minutes, so I'll be joining the fray with my Carl/Baiken/Ciel. -

Fridays are always a great time to come by. I get off at 10PM, so I'm up for games right when I get off. I'm sure other people will be there before I get off, though. Tuesday my car had a problem and I wasn't able to make it back. -

Always. GGs last night. -
Though it's some time away, I'm pretty sure we'll add AH3 to this line-up once it comes out on PS3.

I plan on being there all day Tues for BBCS, GGAC, & MBAA. EDIT: Btw, good games to everyone I played in all three games Sunday. Guilty Gear is still my worst of the three, but I can at least hold my own in it. -

Well, there's going to be a Tekken version (Made by Namco), too. Tekken X Street Fighter. That one plays like Tekken, but has Street Fighter characters with them. It's like CvS and SvC; Capcom vs. SNK plays like a Capcom game, SNK vs. Capcom plays like an SNK game. When Ralph proposed the Tekken/Street Fighter crossover, I instantly thought, "Those games are so different, you couldn't combine the system mechanics of both games." SF has Light, Medium, Heavy; Tekken has Left and Right. SF is on a 2D plane, Tekken is 3D with side-stepping. SF has moves like 236P, 214K; Tekken has moves like 6+RP+LK. They're so different it would be un-feasible to combine them in the same game. But if each of them made a game with the other's characters, but playing like their own game, that would work. I just don't see many Tekken players who would jump on SFxT when they could play TxSF, and vice-versa.
