Alex you got it wrong. It has nothing to do with your credibility. We all know you can do great work as evident by the success of T11. It's just me. I don't look out for the community the way I used to. It's been 10 years of me leading this place, ever since high school. Now I'm an old man and I just don't have the passion for fighting games that I used to have years ago. I'm not interested in spending my time to scout for new blood and train them up only to see them give up halfway. That was me 3+ years ago. Now I leave it to people like pui/jabir/hermes/k2, guys who still have passion for fighting games.
Also I don't really agree with the mindset of this new generation where you have to cater towards scrubs. When I grew up in arcades, the weak seek the strong. And that's exactly what I did until I became one of the strongest players. Today the strong seeks the weak? Wtf? Not my style. After T11, I've seen nobody from T11 that's not a gety regular actually come out to gety to seek competition.
The ONLY thing that comes close to being positive as a result of T11 was some random ign'ant ass ninjas decided to throw another console tourney at TFNS and spammed that shit here in an attempt to make us go to them. Sorry scrubs, if you want to get better, you get off your ass and go to where the competition is at. More play time in consoles does not necessarily mean faster progress. Competition creates progress. And the only competition is at gety. Today's generation are getting MORE help and yet the competition from the new generation is WEAKER than the previous generation. It's pathetic how many scrubs there are today.
