sigh* Junior league. Those were the days. I'll show up one saturday and watch some bowling and play cuz I don't live too far away from Leeward. Just a 3-5 minute drive. But I've nearly purged everything bowling related in my life. I just go to bowling alleys for the food.

I had a great time at King's place. It was nice meeting you Mystic D, hope to play you again in the near future and I hope we didn't overwhelm you with the tidal wave of GG info. King, have lots of fun at Tucson and take advantage of that huge scene. Also you friend is pretty beastly too. HVGL Jeff, work on them OHK setups and dolphin loop, and you'll be scurrrrrry.

Mystic d- Thanks for trying out the cabs at Leeward Bowl. And amen about going to an arcade than staying at home(unless it's GG because we have no choice, and GG over internet would be horrible). People have tried to get CS here. But their efforts were too little too late. I suggested BB:CT at King's place because I'm gonna give BB another chance for CS. Also hoping to get match-up experience against characters other than Tager. In other news... I played Arcana Heart recently. Sad...

There were probably just random people. I didn't really stay to see if they were any good. I think the regulars are probably the Junior League bowlers, so every saturday morning there might be comp. I know this because I used to bowl in that junior league and before and after our league, we would session at the XvsSF machine back in the day. But that time is long gone now, and bowling is dead to me. My only gripe about the ps2>360 adapter is setting up the buttons. I would only use that stick and adapter for practice. At the tournaments/sessions I just borrow someone's stick. PS: It was most likely CT at Leeward. If it was CS, they are awesome. PSS: Just checked Ebay for HRAP 1's or 2's. Yikes!! $300!!! For HRAP 1!!! I remember they were $80.

Holy shit!!! I found an arcade in Pearl City thats not Tilt or Fun Factory. Here's what I could find out from seeing this place. Strike Zone Arcade(in Leeward Bowl): - BB - 2x SFIV - KoF12 - TvC All on Japanese head to head style cabinets with sanwa hardware(drool). I don't know the prices but they have a card system. King- I would suggest a HRAP PS2 stick. Even though the prices are a bit high. I feel PS2 controllers has become a standard for fighting games and companies will still keep making adapters for whatever new system that'll come out in the future. You could dual mod a madcatz stick, but you might risk damaging it if done incorrectly.

Okay guys, my converters finally came. I didn't have a wired xbox controller so I kinda hoped that my ex2 would work, and it did. The setup was pretty quick and painless even though you had to go through the steps I mentioned earlier. So I plugged it in and ran some combos and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary other than my execution. This converteR does have another downside bigger than the whole setup procedure. It's the button configuration. So far I could not find any button setup that works in the game menu and setting that up took a good amount of time out of my lunch break. But blame that partially on Capcom. ------------- How does MBAA casuals at the next HVGL gathering sound?

I think we need to start having some MBAA casuals. I'm definitely leaning towards going now.

Aye Mushihime-sama Futari came in the mail today. Taking a break from playing GG and Melty. So far, the game on Maniac took me five continues. Gonna try make my way through in Ultra:vbang:. This shit is crack!!! The game slowing down is a godsend, but when it goes back to normal it fucks you up. Adding more from ihpsta's post. Hopefully BlazBlue with be that "gateway game" into air-dashers and maybe... Hopefully, get more players playing GG, MB, HnK, AH, etc. Kinda like how GG was my gateway game.
