IIRC early bird is $30 attendance + $10 per game. After that, attendance changes to $50.

Evo2k10 events: -SSF4(obviously) -SSF4 Femme Fatale female players only -Tekken 6 -STHDR -BlazBlue: CT -TvC I was hoping to hear Melty Blood as an event for Evo, but it's not too late. The SSF4 Femme Fatale announcement didn't fail to blow my mind. I've been waiting for the announcement so I can make a decision on whether or not I'll go. I'm still on the fence. If I do decide on going, it'll be for SSF4 and GG and MBAA side tourney. I might even enter in TvC. Now that most of the games have been announced, did they make you guys come to a decision to go or no?

Played some TvC at Fun Factory last night... It was fuuuuuuun. I'm gonna try ask Jeff if I could borrow his wii. Might buy TvC:UAS.

Highlights from last night: - Venom mirror matches, especially when the pool balls are the same color. - King33 air-throwing me out of burst - My Eddie - Ihpsta finally plays GG:lol: - During the breakdown, Jeff's dad accidentally hits the reset button on the ps2 - And all kinds of weird shit that you just had to be there to see GG:yaaay:.

I'll be there too. I guess I'm bringing my ps2 stick and GGAC also.

They didn't come in yet. But the inpin is lagless according to the many people at Evo2k9. They were everywhere. I'll keep you posted on the xconverter when it comes in. Steps for the xconverter: 1. Plug in your ps2 and the wired 360 controller into their ports. 2. Plug in the converter to the 360 3. Wait a moment 4. Unplug the 360 controller The downside of this is you can't use the same 360 controller for the second player because it has some identity code, and it can't be duplicated.

I ordered an inpin and the xconverter. hehe. With a total of $46(before shipping), I shoulda spent $10 more and get the Mayflash. Shipping options to Hawaii are kinda like play-asia, but no UPS/FedEx. Shipping to Hawaii is lower than $24. Kurokun - I enjoy Shmups, and Racing simulators.

Well Mayflash made another stick for that. And it's sold at Laugh's store. I'm sooooooooooooo tempted to buy this thing. I remember talking to this guy at Evo about his Mayflash and I heard good things. I also just modded my EX2 with real Sanwa buttons. Not easy. And the buttons sit lower than normal for some odd reason. But it works. Edit: They have two converters!!! A ps2>ps3(inpin) and a ps2>360. I wonder what button is used for the home button for the 360 converter.

I'll believe it when I see it. But I'm secretly, uncontrollably excited about this. I'm exaggerating...

I was playing T6BR casuals at HVGL Daycare. Then I bought a copy.

I never had that much fun playing Tekken ever. More fun than SF4 imo. ihpsta - try playing against Ky at the highest difficulty with Eddie.

My ghetto Eddie blockstring(off of knockdown): dog kick(lol), dash in, p(hold), kick(hold), release kick. Repeat from punch(hold) You can also use kick and slash then release kick and repeat. I think you can add slash(hold) After the kick(hold) in the string. Played tekken yesterday. I began to like it.

I added the HVGL link to the first post so we can see the upcoming events. Ihpsta- come down to hbb's today(Sunday) if you can. According to hvgl's site, it ends at 6 so I might be there earlier.

Fresh outta Pearlridge Fun Factory, Kurokun's 15win streak is still at the top. Boss's super does 40% ish damage and is unblockable but you can back dash out of it. That's it. No one else was playing DB. And I still didn't beat the boss yet. Damn.

360 most likely... I'll probably show up around 3ish-4ish.

If they have a setup, I'll play a little bit with you. I could use some Bang match up experience if you still play him. But other than that, Hawaii's interest in BB has become very spotty.

Don't be scarred, it's only Axl... I remember when I first played someone good at Zone's, I got perfected two rounds out of a 3/5 match. Thanks to D-Pad's Potty.

This coming Sunday is another gathering, but for Smash players. I could probably have GG and MB running at the same time. More info coming out soon. MBAA made some people curious on Friday lol.

Anji is badass. Butterfly mix-ups all day. Guard point all day. JI combos all day. Gonna pass the mic to King33 about how badass Anji is. There might be a SF4 2v2(format TBD lol) on Friday at Hawaiian Brian's. Check the 808 SRK thread for info. If this goes down, I'll be glad(including HVGL) to run GG casuals there on the side since they always have a PS2 hooked up, and all we gotta do is pop in the game and go. I'll also be there for the 2v2 tourney, and they also have Tekken. Info about this is late I know, but I haven't check the threads in the longest time. I'll keep everyone posted on whether I'm going or not. So far from the looks of things this SF4 tourney is going down.

ihpsta - I just looked at your blog. Is it gonna be an entire coverage of HVGL stuff, or only your matches? I should shake the dust off of my Dhalsim. Maybe I should enter in the Black Friday Tourney. We'll see.

Close DB matches went down to being on the far ends of the stage and shooting at each other. Kuon's feet are invincible cuz they don't touch the ground. Too funny.
