  1. Toki Combos and Strats (Since first post outdated): v.01 Basic Combos For when you want something that's near guaranteed against everyone and simple to do (2C, 5D part whiffs a bit on Raoh). Basic BnB no tension 2 stars: 2A, 2D, 623B, 2C, 5D, 623B, 2A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2 Hit), 236A, CD. Basic BnB One Super 2 Star (Damage): 2A, 2D, 623B, 2C, 5D, 623B, 2B, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2 Hit), 236A, 2A, 2C (2 Hit), 236236C. Basic BnB One Super 3 Star:. 2A, 2D, 623B, 2C, 5D, 623B, 2B, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2 Hit), 236A, 236236B. For if you're concentrating on removing stars first, and not going for damage Basic BnB Full Super 3 Star: 2A, 2D, 623B, 2C, 5D, 623B, 2B, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2 Hit), 236A, 2A, 2C (2 Hit), 236236C, 236236B. Works on majority, for Seikakou (236236B) to hit on some people, it requires reversing the input since the enemy falls to the other side, meaning you have to do 214214B. Advanced Combos: Nets higher damage, but requires specifics depending on the characters body, and more timing. These are the main combos I do since I like to specialize in damage. Advanced BnB Tensionless 2 Star: (If Midscreen 623D, if corner 623B): 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2-Hit), 236A, CD. (vs. Mamiya, Thouther, Toki) 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, j.D, 236C (All-Hits), 236A, CD. (vs. Rei, Kenshiro, Raoh, Mr. Heart, Shin, Jagi, Juda) Advanced BnB One Super 2 Star (Damage): 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2-Hit), 236A, 2A, 2C (2-Hit), 236236C. (vs. Mamiya, Thouther, Toki) 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, j.D, 236C (2-Hit), 236A, 2A, 2C (2-Hit), 236236C. (vs. Rei, Kenshiro, Raoh, Mr. Heart, Shin, Jagi, Juda) Advanced BnB One Super 3 Star: 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2-Hit), 236A, 236236B. (vs. Mamiya, Thouther, Toki) 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, j.D, 236C (All-Hits), 236A, 236236B. Advanced BnB Full Super 3 Star: 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, 236C (2-Hit), 236A, 2A, 2C (2-Hit), 236236C, 236236B. (vs. Mamiya, Thouther, Toki) 2A, 2D, 623D, AC, j.B, j.D, 236A, 2C, AC, j.B, j.C, j.D, 236C (2-Hit), 236A, 2A, 2C (2-Hit), 236236C, 236236B. (vs. Rei, Kenshiro, Raoh, Mr. Heart, Shin, Jagi, Juda) Corner Combo: One Super, One Star (Perform it even with no super, massive damage): Grab throwing toward corner, 623B (623D if midscreen, connects in certain cases), 2A, 5D.c, 6D, 623B, 5D.c, 5D.f, 6D, 623B, 2C, 2D, 623B, 2C, 2D, 623B, 2C, 2D, (623B, 2D x N), 236236C. Some characters need variations in the combo, Thouther needs a 2A before first 2C. Shin and Mr. Heart when they wallstick on right corner change beginning with 2C (2-Hit) 6D, 623B, 5D, 6D, 623B, 2A, 2C (continue as normal). When Rei and Juda wallstick on right corner do the Thouther variation. In the beginning stages of the combo, it's possible to do 236236B after you let em fall down a bit, then 236D. Great to do 236236B when it's end of round and they're about to die to remove stars, or when they only have 2 stars left you add in the fatal KO for the win. If all stars are removed at beginning of combo, just 2A, 2D, 236D. This combo is also possible off Alpha Counter High (214A). Being cornered just 623D, 623D twice (takes you to other corner) and do combo as normal. If 3/4 away do 623D, 623B. If middle of screen (between both corners in stage) one 623D. If 1/4 away or near corner, just 623B. Fatal KO Combos: Simply use the 236236C super for any of above, but after 2C (2-Hit), input 236CD. One star Fatal KO Combo. 2 Star Fatal KO Combo Boost needed: When it comes down to 2A, 2C (1-Hit) in the combo, boost into CD, then boost into 2A, 2C (2-Hit), 236D. Matchup Strats: General guide vs. everyone, don't mess up your pressure, mix it up in pressure, go for the throw (623A, 236A, grab), and DO NOT leave gaps in pressure! Also start mastering 214A, this is going to be your best friend in many situations and in pressure strings, and after each 214A you are guaranteed a 70% above damage combo. vs. Toki: You can interrupt his pressure strings when he 623B with 214A. Stay in the air most of the time to avoid being pressured, and if he tries to hit you in air 214D (Air Counter). Toki's hitbox can be annoying to combo (when I try to do advanced corner in combo my AC whiffs, this happens in arcade a lot, I can't recreate it on console =/). vs. Raoh: This matchup is in your favour, granted you play it safe and don't get hit. Raoh is easily pressured by Toki, and instead of the usual 2A, 2C, 2D, 623B pressure string in corner, you can add in 6D after 2D, it acts as an overhead and gives lots of Aura. If it connects simply AC and begin advanced combo. vs. Mr. Heart: I tend to 2D, 623D, since Mr. Heart in close range = rape. Also 6D as stated in first post is an excellent air defense. If it hits on block simply 623D. vs. Kenshiro: Kenshiro can be really annoying, especially with his frame 5D. If coming in from air 214D that frame D (the extra range on it will allow you to counter from farther than normal, lol). Watch out for his CDs (stuff it with 6D) and you'll show him who's the strongest Hokuto brother. vs. Thouther: Thouther likes to spam hadoukens and is scared of you approaching. You can reflect those hadoukens back at him as he's throwing it in the air, or just as he starts throwing it perform boost AC, this will hit him and allow you to perform your advanced combo. Be careful of his 2B as it can stuff you while you're teleporting due to its speed. Credits Dustloop, all Toki players and my mentor. Any errors or suggestions? Contact me!
  2. Yo dude, which part of Middle East do you hail from?

  3. Go with arcadeinabox if you have the $$$ (2 system stick ftw), if not get SF4 TE, if not HRAP3 modded with sanwa buttons.
  4. I wouldn't suggest playing PS2 games on a PS3, since by default the PS3 produces three frames of lag when emulating, and for fighting games that is a nono. If money really isn't an issue to you, get a stick from here. http://www.arcadeinabox.com/
  5. I switched from pad to arcade to do this loop. Pad is too slow and imprecise imo for this loop to occur. And recovery frame always 0, no matter what combo.
  6. I agree with Gwyrgyn, my friend had two Fighting Stick 2s, and they were pieces of crap. Unresponsive, one broke easily, you have to press hard for a button to register. The Fighting Stick 3 or EX for the 360 on the other hand, much much improved basic sticks.
  7. Record your matches, I can already feel the hype!
  8. Need a video capture device.
  9. Np, always glad to help. Also try go to practice mode, make Eddie do mawaru. If you IB 1st hit you can backdash immediately. Don't know if it works with I-No or it depends on each character's backdash invulnerability, but try it out. I should record my matches with my friend who plays a beastly I-No. Then you'll see how Eddie can be taken down.
  10. Can a mappa spaced correctly against Pot on block be outside his throw range or is it not possible?
  11. In the ED vid it's apparent you're not that used to fighting Eddie, keep practicing against him and you'll get the edge on ED in no time. You got hit by obvious drills far too many times, and always remember after eddie does 2S to instant block and jump FD away. This allows you to escape mawaru when he summons it and an EX drill if he does that. Work on scoring knockdowns then apply I-No's insane okizeme. Other than that nice try at ED.
  12. Alright had variable success with a changed eddie style. When I got a knockdown things ended in rape, as well as trapping with nobiru, but are there more ways to get a knockdown than just a low? The main one I use is 2P-2D and 5K-5S©-2D.
  13. That's the point, it was just too...someone has far too much free time lol, and the combination of those two.
  14. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm5365748 KI 1400 hit bounce combo no DP.
  15. With each character Sol faces, they have a 'sweet spot' for SW clean hits. So to properly get it down you'll have to do the loop in training mode vs. everyone and see where you hit nets you a clean hit. I find doing it in the chest area nets me clean hits on most characters. Once you figure that part out it's a piece of cake to do SW loop.
  16. I always combo into K mappa after 5Kxn, then RC into 5HS, pilebunker. It's one of my staple combos. But you can get punished bad if K mappa is blocked, esp. Potemkin, free pot buster for him. I never use P mappa since I don't see the point of it. K mappa like rtl said is great against the air if you manage to hit it, resulting in the 5K>mappa loop. Also on CH with no tension you can easily do 5Kx3-K mappa for dmg, but I like rtl's option since you gain a knockdown.
  17. not having trouble with the wakeup. I think I nearly blew my brains when they jumped out of my 2P-5H(2hit). They never try to poke mini eddie, they just jump away, then try to use far-range attacks like projectiles to harm him. I think my problem is I need to knockdown more then wakeup UB or mawaru, but this has me bust, since my game revolved around summoning on block.
  18. I need tips on my eddie. My whole game revolved around summoning mawaru on block then applying the mixups, but now my opponents are jumping out before I can hit em with it. Help?
  19. They are. First hint is watch the match on nicovideo him vs. ken and in the comments after it's done you can see lots of people commenting 6A 6A, as well as in real life.
  20. Question, apparently a lot of the japanese are now calling my friend exclusively 6A thouther. Are they doing it in praise or to make fun? I'm confused on this issue. And keep up the matchvids!
  21. Switch to stick bud asap, there's something about it that made my timings far better with Slayer's just links, as well as FRC timings, so you'll never miss a dandy frc again! Tight combos in the vid, and how good you are with grabs I think you should invest in bite loops.
  22. 6A Thouther Whahaha can't wait to tell him. Great one!
  23. http://de.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm6709678 This was the video i've been waiting for a long time. I saw it live on TRF, first match is my friend vs. kenshiro. Doing great in the first round until the end when kenshiro gets his first punch in, gave us a great laugh at his expense.
  24. I meant DC was the best at throwing his coins away!
  25. He is the best. Just throws coins till they're gone. Except one time he stopped doing coins in one match cause niga (SL) raped him bad for doing so lol.
