  1. How can you apply pressure when you're out of your longest ground projectile range (2D) and jumping in air + 6D range? Srsly know about the match before you give advice. Good Nus are always waiting to punish you or apply risk-free full screen pressure.
  2. He's referring to the dive cancel, in which if you time 2B in a certain 3 frame window you'll get 5B immediately, allowing you to continue the combo off a simple j.2A with no counter hit. No easy way to do it..just practice it.
  3. Ok so after a week of arakune i've got the combos down and what to do in certain situations. Now my only problem is after I finish a 6C loop and I do j.5C, j.2D to end it, and i'm next to the opponent, how do I prep myself up for the okizeme? I've seen souji simply crouch and throw some bugs, but what exactly button combinations do I use, when do I hold or let go, which direction, etc.?
  4. Yes you have to adapt your style to Jin. Summon a cloud (anyone will do) 6D bell bug, and walk forward. That's it. If he comes to you in anyway you have an option to deal with it. Icecar A 2B. Icecar B IB 2nd hit punish. If he's dashing 2D on ground. If he comes at you from air 5C>combo. You have to play a punishing game.
  5. Tager, there's a very good Tager here and this is what I got. ANNOY HIM with 6B, j.B, or 6B, j.2A, or 6B, j.C, j.2C. Be creative If he backdashes just do j.2a, it will usually catch him on his last frame if u did j.b or j.6B for example and hit him. Zone well. I usually go back, summon a cloud, and a bell bug, and advance forward using bell bugs as cover. If he decides to sledge, as soon as you see it j.6B or j.6C and he'll be hit, or alternatively you can try to j.D direction depending on where he is and catch him as his sledge finishes. If you get hit by a sledge it's usually safe on block for him, simply backdash to get your ass out of there. If he jumps and does his D magnet move, simply walk in and when you're close j.A, j.A combo into curse into 6C loop. You have to be very careful, and if he's in corner and you've trapped him, stay a dash away so you don't get SLEDGE.
  6. Arakune is eddie like, and he has an insane laugh, it was a match made in heaven. No Slayer like yet
  7. It seems you haven't played any really strong nus. As soon as I hj sword hits me. And how do you teleport behind without getting hit by a sword? And when you come out of teleport?
  8. Can someone wake Senkei up to update first post or should I create another topic which will be consistently updated?
  9. My definition of crazy would be exactly that, DAMAGE + practicality. Like look at eddie's corner shadow gallery loop corner, or the j.D nobiru hit shadow gallery 1 hit frc that latif loves to do, something along those lines. And I can't dive cancel reliably in a match, just seems too hard. You know it's hard when even japanese are blowing the dive cancel in matches.
  10. I saw the 5a>5b combo and perform it, but it is nothing crazy as you said. The dive combo however, that looks extremely crazy but I don't know how to perform it 100% since i'm confused as to what bugs are necessary in that combo. Also in your notation for 6c loop in corner, after the j.C shouldn't it be j.5D instead of 6D? I'll try these out now and see which one fits me best, thank you for your help.
  11. Today I played a proper Nu, he made my Arakune have a nice gourmet meal which consists of shit. I managed to win 3 matches out of 11, but how damn strong is that whore. Even while marked it's very easy for me to get hit out of it. It makes me want to learn an anti-Nu character (or as close as possible to that since nu HAS no bad matchups). Some things I found to deal with this bitch. IB 2nd hit of her D, and depending on whether she does her overhead 4D or 236D Low, this is what you do: Overhead 4D midscreen range: 3C, j.D, 4Cbug(Her body seems to not like normal C well)-5B bug, 6C Loop. Low 236D midscreen to a bit far: Jump forward and j.3D or j.6D, BC bug, j.6C, jc j.6B, 236C (Edit, j.2A connects, and doesn't have massive proration like 236C), BC bug, 6CLoopx 2. If both attacks are really far, and you know you won't be able to hit her in either situations, for overhead 4D backdash (doesn't even need IB), and low 236D just jump forward (Edit: j.6A, j.6B) to close the gap. Also if you do a j. 3D, and she hits you, and it hits her counter, even if you were counter hit by her projectile you can still tech out, BC bug, and do the above combo. More power to arakune players to beat this whore.
  12. IB Greed-Sever move allows you to perform 5B(1 Hit)>5D>standard 6C loop combo.
  13. lunaris do you mind linking to any videos which demonstrate what you said? I can't visualize what you're talking about. Thank you in advance.
  14. Still no tips for continuing a combo into corner? Or corner based combos?
  15. Ahh thank you that is exactly the information I wanted. Going to practice this now.
  16. As soon as you do jD hold BC, then when you land release em both. Doesn't need timing like 5D>236B (C hit first, then B follows). Better to release BC then hit them when you land so you don't perform any frames, and go directly into 6C.
  17. Well I mean with eddie you trap em with mawaru and you apply your mixups. How do you apply pressure while you're near them with curse that allows you to combo? If i try to do 2A>5B>5D>236B while they're cursed, I have no problem with holding down D, but the B bug will come out when I dont want it to. Any remedy to this?
  18. I was just about to ask that. Also guys what is a good combo while they are cursed in the air, and general curse pressure midscreen and combos while they're already cursed, and curse combos while they are cornered. I got the hang of doing the combos into curse into 6C loop, but confused what to do if they're cursed.
  19. The clicks...they just do it for me. You have control of the stick with your whole hand, and those satisfying clicks.
  20. iora why is your button layout like that? Isnt it bettter to have some kind of curve going on?
  21. http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-m-77-1-49-en-15-hori+real+arcade+pro-70-2sxy.html + http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-zq-49-en-70-2noo.html but too bad the ps2/ps3 converter is outta stock. I use it and its lagless.
  22. For you Elven: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QPB45AUmchM
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnKdTiT9_vg Basic BnB bounce of Toki on Rei (also works on Shin). Needs full boost + one super. My first bounce, now needs someone at arcade to play either character. ^^
  24. Thanks for pointing that out, it was a typo. :P No it's not one star, the star removal part is 236C in air (one star off) then CD on ground (second star off).
  25. Really switch to arcade. I don't know why I didn't sooner. You'll be able to play anywhere there's an arcade. Also you simply can't mess up, unless it's your fault. while on pad it's a hard task to do even a shoruyken properly (I'm not talking forward hadouken as most pad players do, the proper way is a Z motion ending with being in corner). Also, you're eddie. I'm sure it's much better to be holding all those buttons with your every finger you got instead of just a thumb and two fingers. And tigerknees are insanely easy to do on stick. Get the edge on your practice partner!
