Ha, good to know. Spent the little time i played with ragna to dick around with BE, didnt get much to try on BK. What is that BK combo nerfing i heard about so ? no more 5D corner rape or just JD nerfed ?

Doesnt even need to be backdashed if he see it coming... He can just standing 360A your HF. As for the backdash360 on your rushing, the best to catch him is just 5A or 2A mash fest. Just run, and mash. you'll catch him at the end of his backdash. Only real problem is he'll be airborn so gotta combo thinking about that. After some A spam punish, he should do a bit less reversal backdash, wich would allow you to go back to some 5B poking.

Black onslaught works way good against Tager's magna tech wheel too I like to use it as a random reversal from time to time. As VR said, it's way invincible, and you're pretty much safe on recovery. For DID, i like the fact it's going higher than CID too, when you know you'll catch a counter but not sure if you'll jump high enough. Less invincible than CID tho

Delay J.D yeah. Had the same problem (and i guess allmost everybody did lol even for a few tries), and it's really not hard to overcome Just your urge of pushing D must... be... resisted... till a few before you land. (but rather post those questions in the ragna general, and been answered allready)

Got nice Ragna basics, try to work on things Shinobi said. End combos, dash and IAD > barrier to bait things, and heat use (good lord i'd kill to have as much as you xD) and you'll do pretty good To burn your heat, got the choice of throw > CS, HF RC combos, CS as free punisher from time to time (like in this 1rst vid where he throws DP without hitting you). Or you can use "defensively" as doing things unsafe as blocked HF or ID then RC. Thing i like too is 2D RC on guard. Peoples are used to punish after, so you can bait many things.

yes, can use it for surprise. but that's all really. if your opponent is paying just a very little attention, he gonna break your teeth :/

interesting thing! i usually sticked to gauntlet hades (i mean, come on, if he got the life so low to take an astral, he'll die of gauntlet), but that could make some flashy finish! Gonna test that in a few.

yes. You're supposed to be able to air IB pretty much everything. reason is when you bursted, it's your only defense against ground to air moves as you got no more barrier. To add to things said before about DPs, air dash > IB DP > j.C counter. Do it~ And for the possibility to punish only when mid-close after empty jump, Ragna got outrageously long normals, and hell's fang, so watch out on those even if you think he's too far, Ryokoalways. Empty jump (not in) > hell's fang, got TONS of counter oportunities against a DP mashing Jin.

think he means the ice car ? If so, it's quite easily punishable with just block. And yeah, nothing combo into D. so when you block those C, get ready to IB those D moves and punish hard. As for general things to know for jin fight (back to OP), gotta obviously watch out those dragonz. They're decently baitable, and like our beloved Ragna's, heavily punishable. Even better is he stay on ground when he wiff/get blocked, so you can start some spiffy combos. His overhead have no combos but specials, and cant cancel when whiff (and i think on block too ?). So when you catch a mistimed one (range is not that good), you're free to go as it got some recovery. Ground distortion comes out very fast, so watch out random ones. Heard many peoples play Jin on live, so you'll see plenty tossed left and right i guess. If i remember well, his kick where he jumps (6B?) is not overhead. so best to just stick to low block and watch for jump/grab/6A(lil whirlwind with his sword sheath overhead i spoke bout before). He can do way long pressure string when played good, so dont release your attention!

fang RC, 66D, release 6, jD on slight delay, 66, release 6 asap and 5B; is how i do. depending on the stick i play on, i tend to do 6B tho instead sliding 5B

Don't spam danzai. And i guess, try to to get moroha mode but not stupidily. Learn to play her as normal mode too.

Carnage scissor fires the 2 hits by himself, if you hold D you cancel 2nd hit. Never noticed any increased damages by holding it a few.

Don't know if it's requiered absolutly, but on some char you can do FRC > 5S > 2S > heat. Seems to me 5S go faster than 2S, so on chars that you can land it, it's easier. (for me)

Maybe shit short invincibility like A.B.A bloodpack, cause i sure used lots sakura noFRC (i suck, woot) and got hit in the face plenty ;/

Normal Ragna is my way to play since i started. Looked around others colors and some are good (Joker ragna makes me smile and i sometimes use it), but for once i got a main color that kick ass, you bet i'll use it!

Pretty interesting, Donpatch! I usually go straight to butt loop (RC orb if tension), but sneaking in a free 2orb hit counter in before that would make some nasty damages :o edit: Nice to see you still rocking the Deranged One, Dirsian

On counter hit (reaaaaally easy to confirm :p) i 2D > keygrab. On not counter hit, i take a beating Using it in same case than you anyway, end of match to get a lucky hit.

Works when you're 'right in the middle' of stage as oponent bounce back right over your head. Best to delay the last 236C so you visually fall down a bit before punching. If you see he bounce too high/too far, dont bother and just 5B > D ID

haha, exactly. It makes me feel the same when playing them. "There, i'm done to 1/5 of my life and allready cracked my burst, and he's still in good shape; what can i do ?" -keep pressing like a mofo, find ONE little opening, unleash the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse- "Yey, won!" And i really like BK, allways made the other guy way more reticent to attack mindlessly than with Sol's DI. 5D so awesome during it
