  1. <3 new wallpaper for my phone ^^ Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  2. Edit: sorry think I missed a step when I posted it >< driving home in the am and typing on a phone doesn't make the best lol. OK so I meant 5BB - 5CC - 22B -Dash in- 2B - 2CC - 22C - 5C - 2C - 236C - 214B - 22C - 236236C I'll post the only video I could get of gameplay up in a few. Its not great quality but maybe it can help.
  3. If I had more time I would be able to judge better. Maybe tomorrow ill play around on some CS2 and try to see if I can tell the difference between them. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  4. Sorry for double post >< still learning this Tapatalk thing. I don't thing 5D is any slower honestly. Maybe they just added a cool down between when you can activate it again in succession? You can't mash charges but its definately not crippling to get charge either. Edit: Also, not sure but it seemed like 214B either lost its invulnerable frames or they were moved some. Got knocked out of it at times CS2 wouldn't have. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  5. Negative. Her air normals felt identical to me. Only thing I noticed is j.236D sents them more downward than out like it did. I was able to do some of her cs2 bnb on Jin when they wouldn't work in CS2 with 2cc. It most definately has a bigger hitbox. The changes to 5c and 2c made alot of combos easier to do without dashing in. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  6. Well sadly I didn't get much time on the machine and was also trying out Relius a bit while I had the chance. The one time I got it to connect it blue beat in the corner. I couldn't get it to connect midscreen at all. But I was also having trouble getting much to connect from 623C - 214A (w). Not saying its impossible but I couldn't get it while I was there. ^^ Sorry will try more when I get a chance to go again. On a side note. I didn't feel 5D was any slower. Or at least it didn't seem to affect my play style any. Charge canceling adds slightly more to your bar than a standard 2D. It's quite noticeable during block strings. Also 2c and 2cc have a much bigger hitbox. I was able to hit it quite a bit farther away than CS2. Also some of the easier corner combos like 5BB - 5CC - 22B -dash in- 2B - 2CC - 5C - 2C - 236C - 214B - 22C - 236236C works but seems stricter on timing? Could just be me. If anyone has any other questions I may be able to help with some of the easier stuff or anything I happened to do while playing. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  7. Ah thanks for that XD mistype on my part sorry.ill check that out in a minute. But it seems like they might be able to tech too soon. Ill let ya know in a little bit though.? Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  8. Trying out some EX Tsubaki ATM. Ill post things as I leave Planet Zero but one thing I found doesn't work anymore. 3cc > RC > 5cc > 2cc > j.c > j.CC > j.236D > j.214B > 5c > 2cc > 236C > 214B > 22B (or D to go farther) but the j.214B now puts you too far away :/ Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  9. ^ this. I do miss the wallbounce shenanigans. But I think people are just scared of change. I don't mind the 5b nerf. I think 5c is enough compensation for it. I dunno when it actually started but I don't remember seeing dp whiff combos till late into cs2. I'm sure some nice tech stuff will show up. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  10. I honestly didn't find tsubaki THAT bad in cs1. Sure cs2 was alot better but I did just as well in cs1 against pretty good players. Guess it just depends on the dedication to the game itself? Even the worst character CAN be good with practice Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  11. I was unaware you can do it with 6B, I mean it makes sense but I trained myself on 6c. Gonna be hard to to it other way around for awhile but might make good use of it ^^ thanks.
  12. Only thing makes me sad so far is 3c. I'm pretty hypes for everything else. I mean sure 3c fc is amazing but now more people will be using it and it'll be expected. I abuse the hell out of 3cc rapid in cs2 cus no one ever expects it since it wasn't used much. Time to find a new underrated move to throw opponents off guard XD Btw I'm terrible at dp whiff combos ATM so this outta be interesting to learn all the new stuff. Im excite. Oh and where's my Konan? ; ; Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
  13. I don't think the nerfs hurt as bad as ppl thinking. All this reminds me of is back when cs2 first came out. All the ppl crying cus Jin got nerfed. Then he ended up top tier lol I'm sure there's alot of crazy shit just waiting to be found out ^^ I'm excited for the new tsubaki
  14. I'm assuming this is where I should put this. I am starting up a by-weekly event in Beaumont, Texas. It's going to be hosted at our local arcade for now but may move in the future. Just depends. We used to have a huge Guilty Gear scene back in the day, and even decent scenes for many other games (Soul Calibur, Mvc2, etc.) but resently its been quite dead. I'm hoping to revive that big deal scene again, if not create a new one. First couple of tournaments I'm going to be testing each game based on how I've seen the newer players in the area gathering around and go from there. I will make sure to do the 2 most popular games with the best turn outs at least one of the tournament days in the month and keep up with a seasonal ranking styled system for those. The other two tournaments will be pretty much up for request or randomized. Whatever the scene wants. So if Blazblue and SF4 are most popular, its going to be broken down sorta list this for the month - first weekend tourney - Blazblue and (insert random game here) and second weekend SF4 and (requested tournament). I haven't quite figured out what the prize for the "season" winner is going to be yet, depends on what I can work out with the arcade at the moment. Only a couple restrictions due to the arcade being a family entertainment place. Gotta lay low on cursing and such. And at this time the only tournament I cannot have is Mortal Kombat 9. Older seem to be fine. This may change but at the moment its how it is. They do have a tv I can use for console tournaments in the back and had a decent turn out for Mvc3 at release. I can run a tournament for whichever games I currently own and is on Ps3. If you wanna request a game or tournament, you are more than welcome to provide the game/console or both. Providing one or the other will net you free entry, but still have to pay venue and if you bring both then you get in completely free. For console tournaments there may or may not be controllers and arcade sticks available - prolly safer to bring your own controller if you own it. I will try to have at least one or the other for the tournaments for use but can't 100% get both. As far as this first event, we are doing Mvc2 and Tekken 6 first. Two weeks after that I plan on Blazblue CS2 & Mvc3 probably, both on ps3. I would do SF4, but I only own up to Super and the arcade doesn't have a dedicaded SSF4:AE machine yet ; ; So for now here are the details for the tourney coming up. If you have any questions or comments, I'm more than happy to take everything into consideration and try to help build a scene in our area again~ Just gotta work with the arcade for the most part. Tournament on September the 17 - Saturday Mvc2 - $7 to enter - pay per games (50c a game) - double elimination - 70/20/10 prize - 2p.m. to finish Tekken 6 - $10 to enter - ($5 for venue, $5 for the tournament) - double elimination - 70/20/10 prize - 5p.m. (or whenever Mvc2 is done if it last longer) to finish registration for Mvc2 ends at 1p.m. and Tekken 6 ends at 4p.m. Place: Tilt - Parkdale Mall - Beaumont, Texas (Right off the freeway I-10) The Mvc2 is an actual Arcade machine and the Tekken 6 is on a xbox-hybrid arcade cabinet so both work a little different ; ; tl;dr - Mvc2/Tekken6 Tourney on September 17, 2011 at Tilt in Parkdale Mall.
  15. Thanks for the advice ^^ Yeah I realized some of those things messed up (like 214C) I've seen some combos lately that I didn't know when i played before so I was attempting to learn some of them ^^; The astral I was just trying to see it would work outta random, then the burst after I figured they would have tried to retaliate but didn't work XD. I do need to try to j.214x alot less, doesnt seem to do a good fake-out game at all no matter how i mix them up ^^; I'll practice the combos and post some more videos later ^^ Thanks alot
  16. Dude! It's been awhile. ^^; about a year almost since I've been able to play but recently started getting back into it alot! Hope I'll be around here and there more often for some matches!

  17. Hey guys, it's been a good year hiatus since I last played BB all together. Been really busy but here is a couple videos of very recent matches I wouldn't mind some advice ^^; I know I need to work on timings of some combos that I just picked up recently, and some of the things I did don't quite work. But whats trial and error without the error? XD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GWouoT7E8Zk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NbzY1CIoYl8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHAIRtrJZUU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2CmQwKQqRc
  18. beautiful ^^ i love it! cant wait to match my ps3 with it to go with my computer now
  19. Although it kinda acts like a counter, its still isn't. I think it has start up invinsible frames but not sure. Even if you get hit outta it, you'll still pin them to the wall so its generally safe. I have been insituations where I started it up and haven't been hit out of it, (arakune 2d?)
  20. I don't see why its a bad idea? It just another mixup to throw off the opponent with a mixup game.
  21. Heya man! We'll have to have another show down ^^ show ya what a real Tsubaki can do next time!

  22. Will j236D ball stop the ground bounce and mess that combo up? Ill have to play around with that when I get the chance and see what I can come up with.
  23. I can understand where you guys are coming from but they just trying to help, locking the actual guide for right info only is fine but this is a discussion thread and so here is the place to do just what they did. We all have to learn somehow and if someone is willing to tribute and try is it really important to be so hard on them? Now back on topic I suppose, I understand 5b > 3c is good if not too predictable and I only really have done a falling j.c>2cc>j.c>j.cc>236a>214c>[d] out of it and occasional 2cc>j.c>j.throw. is there better options out of this, and is 623c>236d>214d> to air combo worth the charges? I've tried timing j.236d > j.214c but never seems to work for me.
  24. AThe easiest way I've been able to explain the 236a>214a>22c is to be hitting down+c at the moment you hit them with the 214a attack. Duno if that helps a lot.
  25. Double tapping should be fine, that's generally how I do it. May not work if tap too fast not sure, I tap them pretty quick. Not sure what plinking means, but you could always hit it once and hold it down for the follow up, not sure if it'll delay too much to combo though. Never tried.
