    Ur doin' it wrong. To select Gold Characters press respect (R2) to toggle the "Slash Color" option and press "Dust" (R1) To select Black Characters press respect (R2) to toggle the "Reload Color" option and press "Dust" (R1)

    Geez, haven't you ever heard of GameFAQs?. To Unlock specific Gold/Black Characters either defeat the corresponding character's Gold form in Survival Mode, or play through all that Character's Story Paths in Story Mode.

    YARLY. Touhou is a great series, but it's really hard... Like, old-school Nintendo hard... :gonk: If you're interested in playing, I recommend Immaterial and Missing Power, or Scarlet Weather Rhapsody, as neither of them are the series' traditional bullet hell types; they're fighting games instead. (And they're a lot easier... That is, if you're not playing on the keyboard. :P)
