Well I never really liked BB's plot anyways so I'm not giving the anime any credit to redeem the already train wreak of a plot. With only 12 episodes to tell the story I knew it was going to be rushed and aimed at established fans of the series. I just wish they would of utilized the time better, if they don't have enough episodes to retell the plot they could of approached it as alternate storylines or delved deeper into some of the characters backstories.

Well the affection towards Ragna was at least in the games, but I was more poking fun at the fact that she knew where medical supplies in a place she's never visited and was clearly lost before fighting Nu.

I love how they haven't even explained why Ragna is a criminal. Without the wanted poster near the beginning and Tao being a bounty hunter you'd have no idea Ragna is some sort of renegade. I also love how if medical supplies were available to Noel (in a place she was completely lost in btw) she rushes to Ragna's aid instead of Jin (who is in critical condition while Ragna continues to shrug off everything). This shit makes no sense even from playing the games. Going to be shooting fish in a barrel when I get around to future episodes projects.

I really wanted to get a teaser vid up some time this week but I keep reworking the script and finding ways to make the editing process ever harder but so worth it. I'm putting a lot of love and effort into this project and hopefully it'll come off that way when I get closer to finishing episode 1, you'll just have to bare with me and my slow ass.

Kokonoe lacks plot and back story.

Fan service is fine but it plays no role in making an anime good or not.

The lore is a mess even if you understand it, which is only 5% of the time.

It means Rachel got off but Ragna didn't. The very foundation of their whole relationship.

Ragna's half vampire, and the Azure Grimoire steals energy so it can effectively heal him too.

Rachel keeps prattling on about how things are impossible or inevitable while Hazama is going WOOHOO! This is why Hazama hates Rachel, she's no fun at all.

Looks like Mori spend the bulk of the animation budget on Noel. I don't know why I'm surprised by that.

Status Update: 10% complete. I've finished one scene and found out the joys of lip syncing and overall editing to be huge time consumer. Luckily I'm picking up a lot of handy tricks through some tutorial videos so its going faster. And I can't do Ragna's voice worth a damn. T_T

No one is judging the whole series based on the just the first episode, people are just pointing out the good/bad points of the episode itself and what it could improve on. And Hazama being a villain was painfully obvious in CT, that's not a spoiler.

Yeah, maybe just short videos or skits. Maybe abridged, I'm unsure right now what to tackle first. But I still have to write a script and do voices before anything else.

After watching the first episode just now, I've got a very loose script going. My video editing skills are really rusty though and I'll probably need voice help if I ever do a redub. But yes, it should be entertaining.

I can never get over how shitty Noel's guns look.
