  1. Any date is good for me regarding the ranbat. My issue is the actual time during the day. I want to enter both Uniel and Xrd but if you run it on Saturday I don't get out of work till 7 pm. Sundays anytime is fine. If it doesn't work out I wouldn't worry about it too much ill just enter whatever I can.   6. Does backdash have enough invicibilty to go through ex blood? Ill have to test that. but for carmine good reads on whip to beat out his fireball and not being scared of his air normals go a long way. I know his j.[c] hits a big area but its also a charge move. Your j.c should beat it out in speed and also has a good enough hitbox to deal with j.b and j.c. but once you get in just be aware that good assualt oki beats everything he does. Ex grab? your in the air. Ex blood? not a true reversal. Veil off? time your assault to safe jump. On a different note. One thing i've been having success with is using 66c to beat out tk kuuga from Linne.

  8. I pretty much agree with Litchi. Id prefer to save meter for 236c, 421c and 623c but if it fits your style nothing wrong with that. Looks pretty strong to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQEa3pUbId0 heres a video highlighting some stuff with 236c that I put together while I was bored.

  10. Can someone double check for me. I'm able to mash between Gord 6b 22a if I shield the 6b midscreen. But in the corner I get CH.
  11. Overall no its not worth it to do the loop. I think its cool as hell and sometimes you have 200% meter anyways and don't really need the GRD blocks. But off most starters you need more GRD than you'll have on average to make the loop worth it.

  14. Shielding Linne and pushing her out is rather easy since her only overhead is b Hien which is unsafe on block and easy to react to. Just have to watch for when she does assault mixups. And as sticky mentions gunshots and whips are good against her trying to TK kuuga in neutral.

  17. Sort of. You just do it in sequence rather fast. takes some practice. Whats happening essentially is that you do 3c. if its blocked you input 822a which will cause you to do 22a. You cant cancel that into anything really so you start holding [c] immediatly after which does nothing in this case. If 3c hits youll in put 822a which will cause you to jump. During jump startup your 22a input wont do anything. you then hold [c] and you get the j.[c]
  18. VS gord your whips and gunshots are your best friends. They're slightly less range that his scythe moves but slightly faster it feels. If you get a 2c or a 5c hit you get a 214b and oki or combo with CS/Meter. Gun shots help vs long and mid range assaults starting from the ground. if he jumps and assaults at you play some SF and DP him. Also make sure to to shield grim reapers and mortal slides to make the matchup a bit easier.
  19. It should work. But with all of Seth grab > cs combos you seem to have to do 6c asap after 214cc
  20. Yes, this is an OS where if it hits you'll start the j.[c] j.[c] combo or if its blocked you 22a.
  21. Don't do 214c~c 66c combo on her. it only works on her when you can do 214c~c 6c anyways. If you set up orbs in neutral shes generally going to try and shoot them or whip them. both of these are unsafeish and if you are in the air you can punish with a dive. Other times shes just going to run at them and you'll have to react. You have to be careful on offense and watch out for her dp. if she guesses you trying to do 214x~b shenanigans with a correct dp guess the match immediately flips, so don't get predictable. Get vorpal as often as you can and run your setups on her and punish every dp you bait hard. Dash c is a good tool if shes gunshot happy in neutral. A correct guess will put the match in your favor. 623c works okay against her when she pushes her self out on offense since 5c, 2c, and down gunshots are slow enough to be caught by this. Shes kind of basic on offense. Her only standing overhead is 6b. The only other thing to look out for is j.214b which is like our j.214b. Unblock able dive that leads into combo with vorpal. If you get used those options she just has normal throw/assault mixups. One thing to pay attention to is if she is trying to 5cc to reset pressure if you shield the 2nd hit (the pullin) you can 2a mash her out. Approaching her is easy with an orb out but Its even without an orb and whoever gets the right read will get initiative.
  22. CH increases the amount of scaling the combo has. say you start a combo with 2a. Generally you don't get a big combo off that. with counter hit you can do a longer combo and high counter is even more. The difference between normal and high counter hit is what you counter hit. you get normal counter hits for hitting someone out of a normal. You get high counters for hitting someone out of a special move or recovery. Most common occurrence of high counter hit is reversal punishes.
  23. In the Vatista matchup 236a and 214a beat lazer and orb at round start. Also with any fireball characters including Vatista, If you can space a dash C properly you will hop over their fireball and hit them with the down kick. this leads into a combo.
  24. Why are people hating on his 3b? Its a good anti air.
