  1. I hope there's someone in this forum. So I usually play Accent Core and just started playing online yesterday and opted for Robo-Ky because he's relatively similar to Accent Core compared to Dizzy. I noticed that there's not enough time to lay a mat down after a throw in Accent Core. So what's the best thing to do after a throw a) with tension and b) without tension? Also are there any important differences between the two versions that I should know?
  2. What I meant to ask was making a new game in a lobby, i.e. the rooms where you join by highlighting then selecting "join game" or something.
  3. Hi, I just got GGXX #Reload online to work and I can join some rooms fine, but how do I create a room? Thanks.
  4. Hm that's odd because I can cancel 2S into pretty much anything except for the pike. Really weird, I guess I'll try it some more. So in general is it just better to rely on something like j.k -> follow-up? Is there any character that's so much easier to combo on that I should try do some bubble combo on?
  5. How can this possibly be done??? I can't cancel 2S into this, and if I wait until I recover from 2S the enemy is long gone! I'm trying to do this in training mode CH Sol's wall kick thing if it matters.
  6. At least I can do the Scythe FRC :D. I can do Ice Spike FRC 50% of the time in training mode and 2D cancel into Ice Spike about 75% of the time. My current plan is to not whiff with Ice Spike until I learn to Ice Spike well. For 2D cancel into bubble/fish, what I do is just tiger knee the move and my game plan shifts depends on what comes out. I know it's not the best but I find it easier to do then press up then perform 214K.
  7. Man! I can't do anything consistently (Ice Spike FRC, 2D cancel into Ice Spike and Fish) in a real fight except for 1 frame jump bubble (also 2D cancel into bubble) and now I'm told it's next to useless... !@#$%!!!
  8. Pardon me to ask such a silly question, but what does BBU stand for? Blue burst?

    FRC on Pad

Thanks for the replies. I'll likely try ^ this because I don't want to rely on button mapping because of tournaments and I'm too cheap to get a stick... yet!

    FRC on Pad

So right now, I'm FRCing (or at least trying to) by pressing square, X and circle simultaneously, but this is such a pain because I got to shift my hand a little bit (to perform FRC and to return to its normal stance) and my thumb sometimes touches triangle as well so even if I hit the FRC I just end up doing Slash which defeats the purpose of FRCing in the first place. So is there any easier way to FRC or is it just practice practice practice?

You have to do j.2S immediately after the first AD to have time to perform the second j.2S.

I think you can work on some hit confirming, because there were a lot of instances where you would hit with 2k but then just do nothing.
  13. Uhm, it's pretty hard for me, but I'm not as good as you guys :D. My thumb is long and thin so I guess that helps a bit. I too find timing it so that the spike pops the bubble is the hardest part, but the weird position of the fingers plays a role in it too I guess.

    AC: Combos

Yeah I mean 6+HS, bah I keep thing S is "high slash" because S is higher than H lol. Right now the pike releases right before I shoot the bubble, but fails to pop the bubble so I guess I just have to work on my timing. Thanks.

    AC: Combos

Hi, noob here needs help pls! Is it possible for someone to give a vid of that homing pike bubble loop cuz I just dun see how the timing works on that thing. By the time my 6S is done the pike is already next to my opponent so by the time I use the bubble the pike is long gone. Thanks.

    AC: Strategy Guide

Ok I just started this game a few weeks ago and I'm trying to get IAD low enough to hit crouching characters. I just wanted to know if it's easier to get a low IAD with arcade sticks since I'm using a gamepad right now and it just seems impossible. The IAD j.2S seems very important which is why I really want to perform it perfectly.
