SSFIV updates(09/28/09): "Indestructible" plays at Continue screen now Hawk Dive knocks down on hit and causes B! which sets up for T.Hawk's new ground throw which is similar to ender of Yamazaki's Guillotine super Sagat's fake kick is now telekinetic and knocks across screen causing wall-stick, allowing for free ground tiger shot T.Hawk has a new move similar to Devil Jin's Flight(or Tails flying Sonic across a level) that is invulnerable doing animation, but he can only do this 3 times a round. Coincidentally, Adon is one of my faves from Alpha. So is Guy and Cody. So is Dudley from 3s. AND of course Dee Jay and T Hawk from SSF2. BUT..... Would Adon and Dudley be considered clone characters of Sagat and Rog, even though they actually use different, more accurate, styles of the art(Muay Thai/Boxing)? Probably not. Even still, I'd be more interested in seeing more variation of fighting styles, like what Guy and Cody bring. Adon and Dud would be considered by some "clone characters" if only in respective style/art alone. When they both are actually more true/accurate to the fighting styles of Muay Thai/Boxing than Sagat and Rog are as a matter of fact. And though I like both, I still prefer the differentiation of styles completely, like what Cody and Guy bring. Or Rolento(who was all but confirmed prematurely in this mess, what happened?), and even Karin. Ibuki AND Makoto? So we'll have two extra female CHILDREN to use?? Unless they go the route of Yun in Alpha 3 Max, which'll just be stupid fan service imo. I can't argue about Dee and Hawk at all. Hawk is going to be fucking huge, just hope he doesn't suck. And even the Chattanooga tourney got pushed back cuz of floods. Now I hear about Big Josh doing a tourney in Knoxville in November, which is around the same time as Pokchop tourney in ATL. Was at Wolfchase arcade today while the girl was shopping. Few people doing 10-strings in T5.0. Attendant said they have more fgs coming. The got Vampire Savior now. I beat it and so "FLY" is 1st in the rankings. Arcade looking like it's shaping up to be pretty decent. They have DDR on the way and some console set-ups. Hopefully DR too(wtf were they thinking). It definitely wouldn't be short of players/randoms so there's a good chance it could thrive. If we had that guy at gatherings Gear would still be alive. 3 hour lunch break bro?
