Yo, I'm not sure if theres any activity in this forum but ahwell, I'm contemplating on picking up ABA because I'm beginning to get sick of Bridgets damage output and with the lack of human competition I've found Bridget more than frustrating to use when it came to a tourney really (Basically due to lack of playing against the cast I had the classic 'not knowing the matchups' and with Bridget that seems really difficult) But yeah tl;dr I'm sick of his damage output. Whats the learning curve like for ABA? I've gone through the guide written (Good shit there) just wondering if theres anything else I should consider starting out?

Yo-yo lots, but make sure its safe to throw out because your open when you do. 2k is something I don't use as much as I should really but yeah its a good normal, 2s is good if you space it out right, if you hit it far its not really punishable on block from my experiance. Only FRC points that you really should worry about are Starship and 6k to start with. (I'm gonna clock the video now and have a look myself :3)

From what I learnt at a tourney in June, Axl isn't too bad to zone against with bears providing your full screen and airborne, poking is in his favour though. Aside from whats been mentioned its what gives Bridgets his strong mobility the way he can use it to technically have 4 jump options.

I'm not speaking about having any difference between Millia and Chipp in particular I'm just saying like how quickly the character can try to avoid the oki (Backdash or whatever) I mean by more luck I've been having much better results with Punch bear pressure than falling against my local Millia.

Ok I'll try that next time I play him in August. Seriously move is so stupid. KSMH~K, the Yo-Yo of the move was like level with Chipps face during his j.D and it hit me clean out with his damn face. Also more of a general question, against different speed characters are some methods of Oki more viable than others? I've been playing today (I can finnaly feel the improvements in my gameplay, getting very happy with myself about it now) and realised that against Millia I've been having more luck with Punch Bear than Falling bear overall. Your thoughts? (Apologies for asking more questions :3 )

Is there literally anything you can do against Chipps J.D other than 6P? Teleport J.d fucks me up royally. Move is so gay.

5k doesn't have any forced pro-ration so I would imagine it to do more with 5k. I'll try and test today if Jais doesn't get back to you. (If I land enough bear launches today XD)

Ok Jais will take that on board. I've only recentley been playing around with whiff 2k. 2D FRC I'm inconsitent with and Starship one I hit 50/50. Hmmm Ok, I'll work on what you've said. The 6S thing, If it will hit, I will use it, If he cottons on I stop. What is the combo of 2D FRC anyway? I was trying to work it out in training mode (Just guessing) Big big thanks Jais. Always a great help, Planning to take this tourney I have on Sunday, So I'll work on what you've said. Always gonna rep Buri, not stayed on a character in any fighting game this long before. :3

Before I completely ignored 5s but damn is it helpful for baiting wakeup stuff. I'm reacting better to jumps with 6s. I still screw up j.2s jump cancels . Also is 3P a viable AA? I seem to be getting results with it?

What is the exact combo of the Falling Bear? I've been improvising with good success but don't want to drop this combo at all when it lands. Assuming it might be character dependent? I've got a big tournament coming up in August, and I'm fishing for Top 3 atleast, so I gotta level my ass up....I mean 3P spam. Ass.

Okay I've picked up a bad habit recentley, You use a random KSMH and it's blocked, what do you do? (Assuming no meter) Try and K out of the way of the punish or just take the frames of KSMH with no follow up?

They are the most damaging options for a call back? I've been using stupid 5k>c.s>s>HS>66 5K>c.s>S>2D Never actually though of spacing them into it Jais thanks alot :3

Just a curosity question on call-back combos. When your doing them do you time the run in after the call back based on muscle memory or visually on the animation, I always find myself hiting the run to early and missing the extra damage. I can only hit the combo 60% of the time due to hitting 66 early.

I guess it's all down to spacing then. If you space it right she "May" not be able to punish you. I've not really fought May, just a suggestion.

Can you FRC the air version of Starship? If so is the frame any different and what can you follow it off? I don't recall the frame data saying you can do it under the air version.

What is the use of j.D I'm still unsure lol? I know for a fact that I am using 2S an unhealthy amount (As can be seen in later videos where i just get GV'd for it)

I mean it as in like if the player gets pin happy which i tend too see abit i would imagine it too work wellif the player is getting into position for a pin. Not beating out a pin

Slayers 2h. Thats good then saves me clashing with 2s instead. What exactly does FD RI do? As in what options does it give me and main purpose? I would imagine 6s to work wonders against Millias pins so I'll try that next time i play.

I really want to start learning Bridget properly. Hes just so much damn fun to use I can't help myself. My college hours are pretty lenient right now and i was wondering what things would be good to start off by learning? I can do a good majority of the BnB's from experience. Also what are the uses for 3P? So far I've just been using it experimentally for corner pressure for good results. And finally any tips for the Millia match-up. It's a damn pain >_< Thanks

Thanks Feri, really good way of commenting. I can see it clearly in my game now. The whiffing in opp face point. Any advice on what moves if i make a close whiff?
