  3. Your post is too vague and this thread wasn't needed. From your post you seem to play Ragna and Hazama. First off you should learn how your character plays and pick up on the system mechanics. Play around a bit and get a feel for the game. Then learn combos and work your way from then. Don't forget to read the guides in the respective character forums for info.

  8. Ok I just redid the strategy section. Tell me what you think and anything else I should change. I will be in the combo thread changing stuff... Also CS1 links will be removed just a FYI. I will need someone to do the CS2 combo recordings or I will find a way to do them...I have my methods if needed.

  12. I moved some stuff around so it looks a bit more neat I guess. I will have to change the strategy section. Break it down a bit so it wouldn't look so wall of texty. Any suggestions?
  13. When I get back from Casuals tomorrow I will edit the posts. first post will have the links to the other thread and explanation on Tager's normals and basic combos. Second post will be notes and the strategy section. third post we be for extra stuff. Expect a update tomorrow night, If not then I am sorry.
  14. Yeah that is true Osuna. If not a throw at least use a frame trap, stuff>4D is good for catching mashers. Overheads are great after conditioning. I on occasion would do Bsledge>RC 6B. It works after getting hit by RC 2B so much. Changing patterns with random RC's are so gimmicky, why do I love doing it?
  15. Don't discount Tagers overhead, only thing that hit me out of 5B>6B was DPs. Its fun using overheads but not too often, its good for meter. Litchi is tough, you just got to learn how the players play in these cases and confirm your fatals into 4k+ combos all the time.
  16. Your hitconfirms are way off when it comes to 5D. If you air CH just do: colliderx2>6C>j.2C>2B>2C>collider>B/E gadget Gives you 3600 or so damage, if the connection isn't so grand just use the normal BnB. Now for bang...oh god don't poke so much, don't jump too much, be patient and just block well, when it comes to bang there are some basic things you don't want to be in. 1. Bumpers, if you have to bumpers near you get out of there, you do not want to deal with bumper stuff, shit even hits me offline. 2. Drive, yeah FRKZ is barely winnable. When you want to beat drives then use 5A/5B/2B. Everything else will probably get you rocked. 3. 5A, stay out of its range, its just not fun dealing with it. Learn to IB it so everything he does after becomes 360A/720 food. On another note you never broke past 4k on your fatals. Lucky for you there are easy ones to do: 2C>5C/2C>collider>j.C>j.2C>2B>236A>5C>6A>collider>B/E gadget. 2C>j.2C>2B>2C>623C>walk Bsledge>5B>5C>6A>collider. 6A won't always hit everyone unmagnetized but it gets the job done on those it does work on. Overall your pressure was unsafe and your mix up is lacking. Unsafe as in you do too much 5C>5D and not enough everything else. 5C>5D is an occasional thing, if you got them close then don't press 5C, go for the mix up. 5B/2B is your friend man, hell 6A in this game is jump cancelable and it still gives you high/low mix up along with tick grabs. (Although its not all that good, jump cancel is good when you want to look out for DP's, or restart pressure.) I am not allowed to comment on Litchi, I can't do that wall of text. Sorry for taking so long I had my mind set on other things that is not CS2.

  20. Brice actually did fine outside of not 2Cing the hell out of Nini for doing those constant jumps. He should backdash a bit less often. I love the 720s you was throwing out, IB 720 more man you got a talent for it.
  21. Double posting. On the subject of The match up threads: Do you guys want the normal match up names or just some comment for them like: Science and Bees! a epic confrontation Tager vs Arakune. Except not as lame. Oh and Leave the thread creation to me unless you guys wanna edit the post. 1 more thing. It will be done similar to the Litchi boards, well at least how Lk does it. So something like this:

This is actually discussion in here. <3 to all of you. @ Tagertime: Well its tricky when your opponent varies the timing of their DP and I have never beaten ID at close range without doing it late. Nor have I ever beaten it at a distance doing it at the same time that statement was for CS1. But in CS2 if you feel a ID coming out and you don't want to block it then I don't see too much a reason to not backdash it but of course this means you have yomi, which in the end is just a hunch. -_- Oh and on the subject of burst. If its gold and they are grounded do not VTC it, you are gonna get shreded for it. IB it if you can or just block it, in fact if you have yomi you can MTW it but again that varies on the opponent and its more yomi than anything else. I'd like to make note that this is only after gadget when I make the previous statement because if they are in the air you just have to do it. Either way VTC isn't a very smart move unless you are on netplay. Then it's all derp. LOL at Bringing Mike Z into the argument. You know why Mike Z wins? Extremely random. Insane yomi.   23. Funny note you can actually backdash ID after a gadget but its tricky, you actually have to walk back a step and late backdash. Still not a good idea. You can backdash all of Jin's DP's no problem, its always been like that and I would actually support it since Jin Likes swinging his D DP around after he blocks something. Also we can 360A through 3 of Jin's DP's...Now why I mention this? I don't know I am still groggy. VTC and back dash are situational. After gadget and you are not gonna do it without yomi being on your side. That post was showing the basic answers from gadget which it does just fine. Now I have to organize the thread soon so it wouldn't look like I giant wall of text to new users.
