Wouldn't that be the proration taking effect? The puddle does 1 damage, but I believe it still prorates the combo. The second combo has another attack in it, so it's going to do more damage. Unless I'm missing something

If they block the followup, you're free to get combo'd :/ Zappa doesn't have a 6K, and 5S only hits once. I'll have to try some of the dog stuff, and I totally forgot about that ghost string ><

The GG forums have been collecting dust as of late, and Zappa was never a popular character to begin with, so let's pump a bit of life into this thing. I'm looking for pressure strings for all of his forms. This is what I've been doing (or attempting to do): Naked: Nothing. Run away and summon : / Sword: Swordswipe to back them away, 6HS if they start coming close, uppercut/2HS if they jump in Ghost: f.s is my best friend, or run in 2p, 2k, 5s, 5s, 5h, 236s (FRC) repeat and sprinkle in 5D or 6HS Dog: 2p, 2k, 2hs, 5d, repeat and sprinkle in 6HS, 8D, and hopefully catch them in a 2D Raoh: Darkness Anthems, run in and 5HS and go into pickup, or 5D into Edguy My Zappa pressure is suck, I'm well aware of that. Help me out!

Huh, that's interesting. I'll have to see if I can find a way to abuse that. I didn't know about the hitstun thing with the dog, but I just think it's interesting that I can suicide the dog and abuse the stun my opponent gets for CHing the dog. Free summon, and if you have tension, it's Raoh time. Anyone know of some good ways to abuse the ghost/sword lag? It just pisses me off when I'm running and go to do 5HS with sword and I find out the sword is about a Baiken behind me, so I just stand there and say "FREE COUNTER! COME AND GET IT!"

I've come across two interesting things while playing Zappa, and I'm wondering if there are other oddities to him. First off, if you have the dog out and you time it to where your dog and your opponent both counterhit each other, your opponent will "freeze" for about half a second, as if the game lags. You can get a summon off if you know it'll happen and prime a dash. Secondly, if you're in the corner with the ghosts and you dust throw, only two will come out, regardless if you have all three. You have to be as deep as possible in the corner, but it's useful for mixup since your opponent will think you don't have any ghosts left, then you pop them with 5S. Anyone else come across anything interesting?

You should play GG. More competition is always good. More competition = more experience

I've found that if I do it at just the right height and time, I can punish a non-FRC'd gunflame with jump, airdash, j.k. Since Zappa flattens out when he does this, it's almost like he slides over the top of it and kicks Sol in the face :D EDIT: Anyone know some good, practical Zappa combo/tutorial vids? Almost all the stuff I do is stuff I came up with, with the exception of the corner Raoh loop. Simple pressure, combos, mixups, etc. Nothing too fancy yet : /
