Shin ATproof

I could only make it for Saturday but I had a blast on that day. It was so cool seeing so many familiar faces I haven't seen in years and people who I've only talked to online. Really wish I could have been there for all 3 days. Would have been great to be in a team for BBCS2 and be one of (from what I saw) the few Hakumen players there for singles. Next time, definitely next time. GGs to everyone I played Casuals in BBCS2, GGXXAC and VS...especially Guilty Gear! I did much better than I expected in Guilty Gear and getting props by Satoshi was cool. Also, Jo freaking out some people was awesome to see. I nearly died laughing. All y'all Guilty Gear players were fucking awesome to watch and play against last week. I hope to meet you all at Evo and some of you sooner if possible!

Thanks y'all ^_^ It was fun standing at the top for once in GG. Vampire Savior was great. The sudden-death matches made it interesting. As for BBCS, so many tournaments seemed to often depend on me bringing my Arcade stick due to the lack of people bringing their own. The problem now is that it's broken and won't be fixed for a while. So yeah, if anyone has a PS1/2 or a PS3 stick, please bring it especially if I can't get my stick fixed by the time BBCS2 patch comes out. The same deal with AH3. Otherwise, no BBCS or AH3...or MBAA if anyone actually enters lol. So yeah, BYOC players. Be willing to share too. Everyone benefits:eng101:

UGH! Due to some recent financial constraints I may only be able to enter GG and VS for the next couple of tournaments. I'll play BB, AH, MB and (lol) MvC3 casuals though.

I'm down for a few games. If anyone has a PS1/2 or a PS3 stick available, can ya bring it? If not, I'll be down for some games of GG and maybe BBCS.

So thanks to Severin, Baiken now feels pretty confident after learning a better Dust combo for this coming tournament =3 Have been practicing with MeiFang and Felicia so AH3 and VS should be interesting. Haven't touched BBCS in a month of Sundays (stick broken) but it's BBCS and I use Hakumen so who needs to practice!?!? I'll put in some effort for MBAA next time and hopefully afford to enter MvC3 too after I get a chance to sit down and actually learn to play the team I want. Hope to see y'all Sunday! Also taking challenges for Jojo and KoF.

GGs to everyone that showed up today. I think I'm getting the hang of playing AH3. Not used to so many buttons and MeiFang plays so much differently from her AH1 version now. I can't believe I'm using the Earth Arcana too. I hated that thing in AH1. I want to try other characters but I may not bother with any other character (not even Maori) until I have my own copy to mess around with. Interesting to see the improvements in GG and VS in my absence too. Looking forward to seeing more next tournament...barring I'm not sick or some love adventure comes up.

LOL sorry, I had every intention to show up for last week's tournament but a friend needed my help and I couldn't leave her.

If anyone was wondering, I'm MIA because I'm sick. My Baiken, Hakumen, MeiFang, Felicia and Aoko are itching for action but I'm stuck in my room...*sigh* so I'll have to attend the next tourney.

I want to see some JBA action Sunday. Between GG matches and after VS I wanna hear "hey Shin, let's play some JoJo!" so I can be like "alright! let's do this!"

Not surprised in the slightest about this revelation regarding BBCS2. We can only hope the Console equivalent of the update will come out soon enough. I want to play Platinum and my new stupider C-spam version of Hakumen. Sort of hyped to play the updated SSF4AE. I just hope Juri is made a little stronger. Angry that the only added characters were Yun, Yang and a new Shin Gouki and SnH Ryu though. I only now slightly regret not playing TvC (despite being a huge Tastunoko fan; and not owning a Wii) if the TvC crowd will drop it for MvC3.

You really want to just try D countering only guaranteed stuff; attacks you know are coming, especially ones in which the opponent is committed to once they throw out the move. So I suppose in a way, yes, that does play a bit of psychological warfare on the opponent if you're essentially consistently D countering and punishing "everything they do" so to speak. Seriously, something like burst baiting and D countering that junk into a huge combo (or death) will put a little fright into anyone. It doesn't pay to guess and continually fish for a counter because as you expect, you run the risk of getting all the counterhit penalties that stem from it. Ya want to get the point where you can at least anticipate certain attacks and D counter only those, anything less than (almost) certain just doesn't pay.

It is great seeing everyone improve. Baiken is still mad at me for dropping the proper Dust Combo I just learned. You should have said something! When I wasn't playing VS or BBCS I was playing Jojo and going through the computer with Hol Horse. LOL I'm taking back my coveted 3rdPlace spot next time. Not losing in this shit again.

If anyone has another DC<->PS1/2 converter, I can bring JBA on Console. I'll have to make a backup though since both my U.S. and Japanese copies of the game are signed by Araki (the creator of the series) and I rather not travel with those.
