VGGs to all I played tonight. Good stuff, hope to get in more play next time. Got totally sonned by Render, Bang Camaro, Mike Z and Blue Garbage in BlazBlue and loved every thorough beating I got. I'm going to spend the next couple of days honing a more patient style of play, hopefully that'll help me. Dude, Bang C! Holy crap dude! I totally wasn't expecting your Jotaro! I seriously need to practice now. I just got to find where I kept my Dreamcast copies...Next time, watch out for Dio! Great seeing new faces in Guilty Gear. Excellent stuff, it was as fun to watch as it was to play everyone. I also eagerly look forward to this Sunday. GGs to Id and Onichi in MBAA H-Roa! WOOT! Hopefully I'll be able to tighten up my game a bit by Sunday. Dude, Id, I'm so going to learn F-Kokaku for the nextnext tournament! Totally got hyped!

Dude, Hol Horse is sick. So much shenanigans when you bind with 214+A. My friend would combo into that, link it into 214+AA and on knockdown do 421+AA and make the bullet crossup...did like half a bar IIRC.

Fighting away a cold last couple of days... My weekend is pretty much shot and I'm pretty pissed about that so I'll probably be at FFA tomorrow night in the hopes for getting in some epic BB and GG (maybe some JoJo) to brighten my day........I may or may not be in costume...

A slightly late reply but... WOOOO! GGs to everyone. I had a blast because I had some really, really satisfying matches especially with Tronzilla, Jason D, BADX. Thanks again Id and Gnat for running a smooth tournament...look forward to next! I intend to come back stronger to keep up with the rest of you guys. That reminds me, gotta give mad props to all the ladies that showed up and played. Keep it up. Gnat: Bummer about the whole ordeal ya went through...my brother had a similar problem not too long ago...and a month ago I shaved my face and apparently looked young enough that a cop pulled me over thinking I was some kid out past curfew...I'm freak'n 27! Bang: Dude, I'm totally down for some Jojo casuals. I seriously miss playing that game. Let's hype the game and get a JJBA tourney going! It'll probably be just you and me at the moment...but hey, we're guaranteed 1st and 2nd!

Orz Not my day today. Not at all. Still had a blast. Great turnout for GG and BB again. Wanted to stick around but had to leave early because of school work. Hopefully next tourney I'll finally gets some serious practice and playtime considering there will be a lull in my classes in terms of tests. Totally awesome with live stream. Thanks, HellFromAbove. Hope it can be done again. Dudes, I swear, I'm coming back with a vengeance next tournament with a powerlevel over 9000 and all that jazz.

Probably will make it just in time for GG and BB singles. I'm finding it hard to do a balancing act with midterms, girl and practicing for a fighting games and participating in tournament of said fighting games:psyduck: I guess I like things difficult, why else would I main Hakumen!? vs. Jin, Rachel, v13 and Arakune= On the issue regarding a recording matches, I think I have a proper camera somewhere in my house with some cassette tapes...but that'll require me searching through my cluttered blackwidow infested garage...and time...so not this week but hopefully soon. Simpler solution I'm leaning towards is I'll just invest in an assload of SDcards for this digicam I got and see where that takes us LOL.

Correct. I don't get much time off but enough to goof off for a while...like at an Arcade...playing Blazblue, Guilty Gear and Melty Blood.

For CSUN it's like mid-December...usually like a week or two before Christmas and winter break lasts from like mid-December to early-January.

Re: Lack of Litchi She is my second but she ain't nearly good enough for tournaments yet. Not against you guys anyway. Maybe the next few tournaments when I got more time to get better with her. @Render: What is your version of Bang's theme?

Great tournament again! So happy that the turnout for GG and BB was bigger. Hopefully the low MB turnout was just an off day for most. I want to see that grow as well. Tell your friends, bring your friends let's keep it going! I wish I could have stuck around to see how the BB tourney ended up but I was running late as it was...by like 2 hours lol. Ugh...and for some reason I just couldn't airdash at critical moments to save my life Sunday, I have no idea why. Still, great games all around, loved every minute of it. Gotta give it up to Diar, very close fight with that Baiken mirror match. Hopefully I'll have a chance to even the score next tournament. :D Well, now is the time for practice and preparation for next tourney. So see, ya'll then...or sooner if some of y'all want to have Casuals at FFA or something...whichever comes first.

I'd be more than glad to be the one to provide a spare PS2 and MBAA when I can like last time but not today I'm afraid. I'll be running a bit late (hopefully just in time for GGXXAC) since apparently I'll be getting a free 50'' screen that'll take up most of my morning. But I'll let ya know ahead of time on days I won't be able to bring a spare system and game. Also until I can get a converter for my stick to work on PS3, please try to set me up for the Arcade cabinet in the meantime. Thanks. See y'all at the tourney.

Ugh...barely had time to play and prep for any game lately... Looking forward to the GGXXAC and BlazBlue tournament though. Thankfully a few dozen matches and I'm good to go in those games, all ASW games are like that for me. ...I can't say the same about Melty Blood though...yet. SO, I'm going to have to pass on the MBAA tourney due to lack of practice, I'm probably worse now than I was last time lol. STILL, I'll bring my PS2 and a copy of MBAA if people want casuals and (potential back up) for tourney if needed. Hopefully I'll be able to upload all the videos I have of the MBAA finals soon to make room for more filming. That said, I don't have a big memory card for my camera but I'll see if I can try to do the same for GGXXAC and BlazBlue. See ya'll Sunday!

Excellent tournament. Great stuff all around. Thanks to Id_asz and AlmightyGnat for the MBAA, BB and GGXXAC tournaments. I was really surprised at how many people showed up for MBAA and was even more surprised by how good everyone was. It really inspired me to bring up my game to catch up with everyone else. I'll try to post up the videos later this week when I have a bit more time on my hands. GGXXAC tournament was fun since it has been YEARS since I've played a Guilty Gear tournament. Really, I had fond memories playing in XX tournaments at FFA. I had a major nostalgia moment while playing everyone. What made it weird is that a few of the regulars back in the day showed up to watch the BlazBlue tournament. Almost like there was a god of Guilty Gear giving players a sign to come back. LOL. Everyone was rusty (myself included) but I'm sure if we got GG to be a regular feature at these tournaments, everyone will bounce back in no time flat and gets some epic matches going. I'd love for the competition to return perhaps bigger than before, that'd be awesome. The turnout and level of play for BlazBlue was amazing. Tournament gets bigger and wilder every time, if the trend continues we're going to need another BB cabinet and/or another PS3/360. Also, we got to get a regular camera person. Seriously, EPIC shit happened that will now only remain as a fond memory. Really guys, fantastic games. It was once again a pleasure to be a part of it all. I don't know about anyone else but looking forward to watching and playing so many excellent players has been my primary motivational tool to step up my game and try keeping up with everyone else. I know that is corny but it is how I truly feel. So yeah, I had a blast glad to know I wasn't the only one and I hope those that haven't posted feel the same.

Yeah, VGGs dude, gotta do it again sometime before the tournament. And yeah, F-Ciel was pretty crazy. That command throw seems mad useful for mixups. I'm going to try working on F-Warakia and along with my F/C Aoko. Ack! So much stuff to learn though! I want to try F-Koma and Riesbyfe too (OMG such a cool character!) but maybe for next tourney...or casuals...gotta do this again and with more people =D

I also nominate Hokuto (and SBX) to be added. I'd totally be down for brushing up on my Souther if it meant there would be a tourney or at least steady casuals. Arcana Heart 2 and Daemon Bride would be sweet if FFA got them too. But what I'd really like to see, although neither falls into the "airdashers" group, Samurai Shodown 5 Special and Samurai Spirits Tenkaichikenkakuden. At least some casuals! I'd seriously kill for some SS comp.

Cool, I have a suitcase that I fill with my PS2 and bunch of fighting games for just such occasions.

I'll try to make it tomorrow, sounds like a blast. Btw, do you need another person to bring a PS2 and a copy of the game to play if there starts to be a lot of people? If not I'll just bring my stick.

LOL Thanks again. Hmmm...I guess because I haven't had to search for another softmod after getting the Swap Magic years ago, I never heard about other PS2 softmod solutions. Heh, now if only these groups would come up with a way to softmod the Xbox360 so I could finally play Idolmaster and Dream C Club...yeah...

dinnerplate: Thanks, I'll look into that. I have a Super Joy Box Pro 3 and if that don't work, I'll definitely pick one of those adapters you mentioned. Id_asz: I'm well aware of the import thing. That isn't a problem, half of my PS2 collection is imports that I play on my PS2. My PS3 question was: "Can I play on the PS3 if I use a PS1/2 to PC USB adapter with my PS1 + 360 Dualmod stick?" Because I didn't want to have to build another stick just to play on the PS3 if I can help it. You mentioned that if there are too many players, a PS3 versions would be set up and that people should bring a PS3 stick. I plan on getting a PS3 anyway but wanted to know if I can avoid having to get a whole new stick because whether I'm buying or building a stick, that is money I'd rather not spend if I can help it.
