Prototype Sol looks like he'd fit right in in a Castletvania game, lol. I don't really see any reason GG2 couldn't be set in the same universe as X or XX. Most of the character's subplots were honestly done by X, and the few left open after XX generally either didn't have much to do with the current situation or could be explained away easily (ex. Anji-Mito never did meet That Man, Millia finally stopped chasing Zato-1 [who is finally decomposing], etc.).

As stated, Dizzy's is on her ring, and Testament could very well have his hidden somewhere under his clothes. That's one of his servants, actually. It's the one that keeps mewling in most of his videos... I think. WTF at Dr. Paradigm's Elvis dogs. Do they actually use that comb in-game in an idle animation or something? That'd be freaking awesome.

I'm fairly certain I've heard the Master vs. Master, Mirror Match, and Valentine superiority themes in a few videos, so what I'm guessing is that what song plays depends on the situation. The Vs. and Superiority themes seem to be played when two Masters come into close proximity during multiplayer. Probably, if it's a mirror match, Misadventure is used. If it's Sol vs Ky or Ky vs Sin, The Re-Coming or Communication are used, respectively. If neither Master has a major advantage over the other (whether in Mana, Master health, Servant numbers, or Master Ghost health, I don't know), The Fate Broke Down is used. And if one Master is at a clear advantage, that Master's theme will be used.

It's good to know you've developed such strong feelings about a storyline that hasn't even been fully translated yet.

I don't know much about this battle in KH2, but it sounds from the previous poster as if it's still a different situation. It may be much more going on in terms of sheer numbers of entities on screen, but number of entities is unimportant compared to a measurement such as, say, number of drawing primitives. Even if toning the graphics down would make it possible, I don't think we're talking about something simple like losing a few polygons here and there. Does the 360 version of GG2:O have local splitscreen multiplayer? I've only seen videos of online games.

No, they don't, at least not without further evidence. GG2:O was coded to run on a system with 512MB RAM. Those were programmed to run on a system with, what, less than 128MB? I'm pretty sure the Wii's below 128MB as well (they measure it differently just to be a pain or something). Unless GG2:O never really uses up more than a fourth or so of it's available memory, porting it would be more than just a matter of downscaling a few textures.

Wii seems unlikely due to lack of internet and significantly lower RAM. DS seems unlikely due to not even having close to enough horsepower unless they basically remake the game. Basically, I'd expect a port to be either toned-down on the PSP, or PS3 or PC.

That's odd, though. Her voice doesn't have that echo effect full-blood gears normally have. Maybe she's got some kind of Gear-supressor, like Sol? Or maybe it's a continuity oversight? Or maybe Sol just gets the headache from whatever Valentine is doing to sublimate Gears?

If I hadn't already known there would be bagpipes from the second tier of the final battle (Dignity), I probably would have laughed my rear off at Brainwashing.

I think I can answer your questions. It's not officially stated, just hinted at. Still, it's a Gear, with Justice's DNA, who Ky is in love with, and who was able to bear a child. How many female Gears are there with Justice's DNA who aren't Justice? The connection is about as strong as the Baldhead/Faust link. It would seem so, since the girl is almost certainly Dizzy, and Ky is almost certainly Ky, and they're certainly Sin's parents. I would guess "Shin" is his birthname, and that "Sin" is an assumed name used for secrecy or to annoy Ky.

Anji would probably end up with mostly clones of Izuna's set, with a few of the weirder ones swapped out for Noh dancers or other random things. I kinda hope that his ending with That Man in XX was canon, though. I wanna see Gear Anji working for That Man.
