  1. Not saying they were bad, saying Liz is bad. All of Liz's options are easily beaten by almost all of the cast, thus my confusion.
  2. Yeah, how the hell did they manage that? No offense to them, but no matter what you do, Liz is free as fuck once you learn how to deal with her. I think everyone just didn't know how to play against her.
  3. Chosen Ninja was the most impressive player. Everything else everyone else did seemed 100% standard. LK getting trolled with IK was hilarious though. BananaKen is hot. I'd bang him. Those Liz players; how did they got top 8? The players must not have known how to deal with her because they didn't do anything impressive or out of the ordinary. In fact, a ton of what they did would have just straight up LOST here. xD
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvq0RaaMck8 We need more Melty.
  5. GGs Rath. Sorry about the shoddy matches, my B button is fucked up. It would sometimes read a single press as a double press or sometimes not at all. That was fun. I lost too many matches because of it. Most obvious one was AT OMC with Yukiko; it read OMC as an additional j.B and dropped the combo. =/
  6. Input D.Garu right as 5B reaches its max distance, and tap the D button on the first hit on the return back. should be about 14-16 hits before D.Garu picks them up.
  7. Two garus off a non-counter hit starter from 5A is still ridiculous. 4.4k damage. Works on every that I tested so far. It's strict on Chie, though.
  8. Has anyone come up with this yet? Meterless, standing or crouching, no CH or FC: 5AA 5B D.Garu 2A 5B 2A+B D.Garu 2A 5B 5C 2C etc... It's a good meterless midscreen combo. It uses D.Garu without using meter to launch. >.> I can't believe you can chain D.Garu from 5B.
  9. Fun fact: 2B j.B whiffs on crouching unless I delay it. In both scenarios, you can just DP it to get out. Which leaves me with 2B dj away. xD
  10. I'm mad at every matchup, because your zoning can stop mine since it's faster and your DP beats any pressure attempt. Sure, It's still in my favor, but it's still a bullshit amount of effort to deal with. And then I go to Yukiko and I don't hate life.
  11. Play Liz if you want to put in TONS of effort to learn gimmicks that the opponent can get out of by simply remaining patient and reacting properly, to 30f mixups no less. Her zoning is ASS, her pressure is ASS (outside of the corner), her mixup is ASS. her health is ASS. Her only positive points are her damage output and j.B. Kanji can literally mash DP to any of Liz's attacks in the corner and come out positive. Since Thanatos has such ridiculously high recovery times, Kanji can DP him and punish you with a super before you recover. You could OMC or risk using a shitty super, but it's overall far too much effort for no reward. Just stick with Yukiko. I actually main Yukiko now because Liz is too shitty.
  12. TH9 is serious business. We spent like, 5-7 hours playing that yesterday. Things we learned: Komachi is kind of broken. And dem Yuka twitches.
  13. what about your friend's stick? I'm bored. D= And no one is on P4.
  14. It beats Labrys and Akihiko out right from my experience.
  15. for even more corner carry, you can hold [3] or go [6~2] during D.Garu
  16. Play Melty Blood. Arcsys just has no idea how to make a grappler that doesn't suffer from zoning.
  17. The mitsuru wasn't bad; that was Shadow. They just have completely different thought processes in Japan. It's why I can't handle playing certain people because I've been too busy watching and analyzing JP vids, but American players are so much more... sporadic? You'll see JP players get away with stuff that gets blown up here, and you'll also see them be more patient. It works both ways, though.
