  2. lol I was doing really well against your offense for some reason. I think I only got command grabbed like three times! It might be that I-have-just-finished-finals mental bonus. And you dropped easymode Garu loops a lot, which, well, I would've been frustrated over that in your position. and 2B is brilliant against your j.B. GGs peoples.
  3. I'd recommend just taking a break for a bit. Not trying to put down your frustration, but it's very possible you just need to detox, speaking from my own experience. Take 2-3 days off and then come back online and see how it goes then.

  10. IT'S OK I KNOW THAT FEEL... I say as I run you over with Slabs. Seriously though, during my brief Yukiko stint, I don't think I ever worked so hard as I had fighting a Slabs. GGs, STAY STRONG. GGs to like everyone. Re: Liz mirrors. I will hate it but I am down for it, for some reason.

  14. solid, just no practice against Liz offense lol. I figure we could've just managed it manually if we were on party chat or something. Or we can work out the matchups ahead of time, almost like a bracket and just have everyone go in that order. That Japanese Akihiko vs. Yukiko netplay 4v4 from a while back seemed to work that way.

And if it still appears on frame 4 (and doesn't disappear on hit) then you have a somewhat costly but rather braindead easy burst/DAA bait that is otherwise an awesome pressure/mixup reset! Also, huh, didn't realise FB disc goes active ~20F faster than in AC. Maaaaybe you can react to like, Bridget/Robo-Ky wakeup delay, and FB disc [FRC] at the last second for quick oki. Yeah, managed to catch a Millia who did that off a throw, it actually seemed to do more damage than AC relaunch throw combos. Yeah, also saw that. It kind of reminds me of some of her Slash combos actually. Seems like they really are integrating all her different combo styles into one spiffy character. As always, the apprehension from all the new combo variables comes from not knowing how her average/max damage and knockdown capabilities will work out with all the tweaks. And there's so many of them. Like I don't remember seeing anyone really playing with the new f.S jc. Longinus is purely for knockdown/setup now I guess. Buff the startup so it works from longer range/different pokes but diminish the ability to combo off it.
  19. OK, so K pin is a sharper angle than S pin -- something like 30 degrees. New FB disc animation looks like it recovers just as fast as the current FB disc. It lost guard-bar but gained an FRC... Combo mechanics are very different. j.2H has way less untech than #R version; 5S 2H iAD j.P j.H used to knockdown in #R iirc. Having a buffed aerial FB disc and aerial Winger I guess means, at the cost of tension, you have the option of easymode knockdowns. Tensionless combos look like they'll be just as specific as it is now. Brr. Every iteration since Slash, Millia combos get completely reworked. Also, does it seem like her damage is crazy bad now for some reason? Yeah, I am inclined to think they are generally nerfing Millia.
  20. That's 6P force prorate though, which means it's also going to decrease her regular combo damage. Curious, would it apply on top of existing proration? Since j.K prorates 90% I think and 2K prorates 75%, will 6P prorate an additional 90% within that combo?
  21. Hm? Input motion same for ground and aerial FB disc? How was this different than before? Re: Longinus, you mean in vanilla AC? It slides in AC, it still means it's corner-only combos so the change seems rather cosmetic really. Intriguing changes. Aerial Winger? New hairpin? Roll picks up pin? Pin can't be picked up immediately? Faster air FB disc? Secret Garden disappears on hit? Backdash nerfed? Far slash JC? I... I don't know what to make of it all.
  22. Did you think the HCL corner wallbounce knockdown leaves enough time or space for left/right mixups? Thanks for the impressions, mynus.
  23. VCL FRC mixups maybe? I mostly agree that it's gonna add a ton of combo and general mobility options (think double airdash -> FB Dive cancel! -> double airdash) but less of mixup options. Airdash over KD opponent, immediate airdash back, ambiguous dive? I'm curious about the wallbounce change. I remember there was one loc test where I-No had j.H wallbounce, which they clearly removed eventually; just wondering what they could be going for here.
