Interesting! Raven huh? You can add LIVE to ENUI FREE and HOPE. Raven seems to have that theme about him. The coin covering his eye seems to imply that hes half dead, and that would make sense given hes plastered up and down with LIVE (his horn and his chest).

Blarg! Read thread! There still cannon, he said they were just Gaidens. Which would mean sidestories!

Now that you point it out, ya. White hooded dude and everything. Tho, it is That Man right? Its not like hes labeled as ??? right? Edit: Reading the above translation, ya its That Man. And Justice is 100% Aria. And also, pertaining to Sol Dragon Installing when fighting That Man. After the credits, him and Raven talk about it, and say that its 'encroaching' upon him. I would guess that this mean that his forehead protector is losing its effectiveness.

Lol. What are those purple strips covering? Its already all covered up. And this doesnt look like a Daisuke artbook, or is a mesh of official arts and his stuff? Does it say?

Well, it looks like the final boss stages are all in Hell. The blood lake background in accent core looks exactly like those stages. And if Hell play such a prominent roll, wheres heaven?

>_< I gave on the ps2 argument already, that one guy told us how it was, no need to rub it in.

GGX GBA had the much sought after COLOR EDIT mode. So Im sure to some fans it was a boon. I probobly woulda bought it back in the day. Judging from videos its only online multiplayer (up to 4 people). There werent any splitscreen vids that I could find. Theres a fight the cpu mode tho. http://youtube.com/watch?v=W2708KU2MZ8 1000 heartless battle for those who care.

Well, that would be venturing into stuff that I really had no way of knowing, so ya, I'll take your word on it. I just have the general idea of how its done and can postulate such things, but I havn't actually done anything like that yet (Its what Im going to be doing for a living). I still stand by my original 2d DS idea tho.

You do realize that all that extra RAM is for the high def textures right and polygons right? Do you realize how high def these high def textures are? And perhaps the memory they take up? Of course the game would have to be re-coded to an extent to even work on a ps2, but its not like it cant be done. Toning down the graphics and effects would make it possible. And the reason I say KH2 shatters the argument is because of the '1000 heartless battle', in which there are 1000 AIs on screen which you and your 2 companions have to fight. Far more than whats going on in GG2O at any one time. Thinking about it more, multiplayer modes would have to probobly use 2 consoles LAN'd or online. I doubt it could handle the processing for both players at the same time (ps2). So ya, some stuff would have to be tweaked, but it shouldnt really effect the gameplay to much besides maybe having a unit limiter like starcraft. (Just to be fair, the kh2 battle probobly only has 3 or 4 different enemy types, I cant really remember an exact number. That would make a difference in the memory usage, how much I dont know.)

Well, I was implicating the PS2 and Wii. The DS isnt likely remotely possible as a 3d game. I was imagining it as a 2d one. Think perhaps FF12:RW. It would almost certainly have to be redone. Also, assuming they arent using a 'port friendly engine' (like capcoms Framework or Unreal Engine 3) they would probably have to create a mostly new engine for the PS3 anyways. Seeing that as the case, it would be easier to go PS2+PSP+Wii combo that Ubisoft did with a lot of there titles. And as an aside, I do know a thing or two about programming (wink wink, nudge nudge). Edit: It would also probably be better to use Prime Hunters as a graphical benchmark for the DS. Its a lot more impressive than the FF games, and is far more hardware taxing.

Dynasty warriors and Kingdom Hearts for the PS2 shatter your RAM argument. Its obvious that the game would have to be graphically toned down, but it should be able to retain all playability and gameplay. Dumbing down the textures, and lowering the poly count on the models/environs + removing any crazy mapping and everything should be good.
-
Well, I just had a crazy idea. What if they ported this to the DS? Make it a top down (think 2d Zeldas) action RTS thing. It would be far easier to send your summons places with a stylus than with an anolog stick. It has the online function, so you could still play online. Plus they could get rid of the completely unneccassary dual movesets.

Ya, the third one is unofficially 'KKK guy' cause he has a tall pointy hat. It was in lightning the argent. The pics floating around somewhere...

Well, I think putting a very japan centric game on any next gen console was a dumb move to begin with. Neither the 360 or PS3 has the market penetration to support mediocre titles in japan. And the Wii 3rd party stuff isnt exactly doing to hot in japan (No More Heroes (Which will sell in america, even if I have to buy 10,000 copies)). The game woulda had to have been the second coming of christ to sell well.

Its pretty forgone that valentine becomes a NEW Justice. Not the old one. The old Justice is dead. Valentine is a NEW Justice.

Dignity was the only one that was really above average in my oppinion. I wasnt really expecting much from Vol. 1, and thats exactly what I got. Most of it isnt really anything special. If youve evr played an RPG before, you've probobly heard similar things. Got dumped in the garbage after I was dopne with it. Waiting for Vol. 2.
-
A port to another console will likely first depend on how well it does in the states. I get the feeling tho, that this game is probobly gonna achieve a loss of revenue for Arc.

Juramento Nagel?

http://www.team-e.co.jp/products_new/kdsd-00168-169/SP/uta.html They updated with another Vol 2 track. Its called 'The mask does not laugh'. Sounds like it might be Sins song, but I cant be sure. Im pretty sure it was in a trailer or its Sin's song.

Assuming you mean KYA3, I particularly like that one better than 2. Its far more flashy than the previous version.

Heh. Would make sense. There was that whole debacle where he destroyed a bunch of Robo-Kys...
-
Speaking to Theria I thought that the PWAB was part of the UN?
-
Well, I could see Ky doing taxes... The DizzyxKy thing doesn really seem that far fetched really. There rather similar (assuming Dizzy remained shy and stuff). The good news is, Sins not Bridgett.
-
OKAY, okay okay. I think we should all calm down over the story thing. Remember how GGXX had 3 different endings for each character? And how in GGX, there were a bunch of different endings too? He probobly just means that not all of those are canon. Like, until GGXX came out, anyone could have been the victor claiming bounty over Dizzy. When GGXX came out, it became established that Sol beat Dizzy, left her, then Ky got her, gave her to the pirates, and gave Jam the bounty to make it look like Dizzy was dead or whatever. So, could we not expect a similar thing to happen with GG2? I seriously doubt an entire story would just be thrown out like that. I mean, Lightning the Argent? Butterfly and her Gail? Side Red, Side Black? C'mon.

Well, there IS plenty to complain about. The problem with this game, is they did good things and bad things. For instance, Sol walks to slow. Far to slow. And theres no inbetween (high speed an dlow speed is it). Theres also 2 movesets, which is completely un-needed. Theres a moveset for when your locked on, and one for when your not. Its kinda like all range mode, and 2d fight mode. Honestly, they should only need one. And then theres the camera, which is pretty crap, changing angles all the time and making things plain confusing. It also doesnt help that (at least when your Sol) you cant distinguish yourself from your own troops. Your all the same color of read. So all you see is a sea of red. On the plus side, the RTS stuff is pretty good, well thought out, and neat. They levels are explicitly designed for the gameplay, which is good. This also probobly the only way a 4-player guilty gear could work. Most old guilty gear mechanics are still there also (burst, dashes, roman cancel). The story is also finally continuing, and the final boss is epic. And we got another awesome soundtrack!
