I have had six to seven game win streaks on people of the same color as me (light green) and it STILL hasn't changed. I more or less stopped caring about it, light green for life.
Ggs Reaper and everyone else I played, those matches vs Relius were loads of fun. I swear if I got hit by that air grab set-up just ONE MORE TIME I would have thrown my stick against the wall lol.
This reply is pretty late but I just want to say thanks for this piece of advice. I already used 5A's during pressure for tics and such but I never thought to use it for preemptively stopping jump outs. It's helping me so much that I'm shocked honestly.
TBH I don't touch that button outside of combos but I'm so desperate at this point that I will give it a shot.
Edit: Tried using it, the move isn't terribad but people still give zero fucks about my anti jump-out/jump options .
What are Ragna's tools/tatics for discouraging jump-outs/jumps during pressure and (if possible) mid-range? I try all sorts of crap but no one really gives a damn, it's starting to drive me batty.
GGs to Hondo and Brkrdave. Sorry about that lag spike, someone was using youtube at my place. Of course it always happens when I start playing Blazblue *sigh*
Extend's netcode WAS noticeably worse on the ps3. I was apprehensive about netplay in this game because of that. Tonight's games blew up all of my worries though.
GGs to Solaris and Daiandoh + everyone else that I played
It's not just you at least. To me this netcode is noticeably better than Extend's, 0 connections were playable and everything above was amazing.
I would play on PSN more often but I have a hard time finding playable matches on there : /. Honestly I'm a bit apprehensive of BBCP's netplay because of my PSN Extend experience.
Thanks for the response everyone. I'll give the suggestions a shot at the next offline meet up in town (or maybe online).
After looking back on my play I pretty much went for nothing but pressure whenever I had a chance to start something. Back to the drawing board for me I guess.
What can I do to condition people not to mash during my block strings? I read that doing 2A-2C frame traps and staggered jabs help but people still don't really give a damn and mash away so I never go for pressure resets because of it. : /.
