  1. I'm positive there's no way that the game will be shipped without Val's blood-stain palettes. It's in her color map so it's bound to be used, otherwise they wouldn't pay us to include it =X I can't really answer your question about Double. Her color map confuses and frightens me =O
  2. Hey! A contractor worked for free to produce that lineart to play with! It's as good as official! >: I Kidding,of course, kidding =P I have to say though, that those Double palettes almost match her color map fairly well... I think... but they're convincing!
  3. I've worked with her color map and even I don't know how it works =X
  4. http://www.gametrailers.com/video/socal-regionals-skullgirls/725666 At 0:44, Juju confirmed?? =D
  5. Change the color mode to RGB instead of Grayscale under the 'Image' tab.
  6. Not necessarily true. If you look at her 2P colors, her abdomen and her arms have been colored in. As you can see from Parasoul, color maps for characters who don't have a lot of color variation in their base design can still get quite extensive.
  7. I work in Photoshop, so I'd just set the lineart layer blending mode to Multiply, and then paint on a different layer.
  8. I'm not KingofSarus, but I'll take your thanks anyways =X I'm not allowed to post production materials unless otherwise noted, so I can't provide actual lineart or color maps from the game. The lineart I posted was something I drew myself as a gift to the community =D
  9. I'll start off by posting some lineart that you can all use to paint palettes on =D And now some palettes I've done myself =D
  10. Hey all, I was playing against a good Tager today and I have a few questions: What do I have to watch out for when Tager is putting on a blockstring? I didn't even think Tager HAD blockstrings until today, so I got a little careless when blocking against him. Is there any particular move that he ends a blockstring with that I can punish? Or is there any move that I can Tsubame after blocking? Moving around and spacing is all find and good, right up until Tager puts static on you =(. What should I be doing defense-wise while I have static on me? Should I be blocking and punishing while risking the 360 grab? Should I be frantically trying to run away? Or should I get reckless and try to hit him until the static drops? Is it safer to interrupt Tager with the staff or without? It seemed for the most part that I couldn't punish his blockstrings with 5Bm, so would I have better luck with staffless 5B or something?
  11. 4-day old Litchi player with a few questions! Can Litchi do a combo after a front or back throw without the staff? I know you can Tsubame after any throw and continue with 2C or something, but what do you do if you grab them and you don't have the staff? What's the best midscreen combo for characters with smaller hitboxes like Noel and Carl? At midscreen I usually do 5B 5C(2hit) ItsuuC, Chun, 2C etc etc, but Noel and Carl usually slip out before the Chun or the 2C hits... and sometimes I've even seen them slip out before the ItsuuC hits, and it robs me of precious precious damage! =( What's the best way to deal with smaller characters? Speaking of ItsuuC~Chun 2C combos, what should I do if my ItsuuC~Chun 2C jB djC D air dash jC staff2 combo takes me into a corner? After Staff2 the staff comes back too early for me to follow with 6C, and they usually tech at around that point before I can get anything out. I suppose I could always just throw them as soon as they tech, but is there a better way to get guaranteed damage if I push this midscreen combo to an uncomfortable corner? What's Litchi's best ways of approaching? Lately it seems all I've been doing is zipping around and trying to cross up with jB, and I have a feeling it'll get me killed often =O. Also, what's Litchi's best options against characters who zone her in the air, like Rachel or Arakune? I'm not too familiar with her AA options (except for Tsubame, but whiffing that seems dangerous), and I usually find myself waiting patiently for them to land.
  12. Question: Is there an easier way to play Carl on a pad without having to remap Drive to a shoulder button or something? I don't want to have to exit out to options or pause in the beginning of a match to switch controls back and forth, but I AM eager to learn Carl.
  13. Well obviously those need translations, but the rest of them (like 'Vivace', and 'Cantabile') don't need changing =O And um... well, do they speak French in Austria? *shrug* The last thing I need is English voiceovers with accents. I don't think I could stand to play as Litchi with a thick Chinese accent.
  14. Why would they change the move names? Most of them are based on Italian classical music terminology. And I thought Carl was from Austria...?
  15. I don't know if it was Dora or not, but I once saw a Bang player use FRKZ while under pressure just to land a command throw. It's almost similar to playing Archer in F:UC and using UBW chants to 'cancel' your attacks.
