  1. I'll wait 1-2 more weeks before I put up a bullet point list.
  2. I do j.C > j.214D because it looks cooler lolol :D Also gives people an easier time to do 5C(w)C > 2CC since they can eyeball their landing easier. Also to note is if people are too lazy to do 5CC > 2CC after j.214D, most of the time they can do 6C > 236C 214B 22B.
  3. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11005-CS2-Tsubaki-Yayoi-Combo-Compilation-2.2(Updated-5-20)&p=1030675&viewfull=1#post1030675 Done!
  4. 5. Ginseng's Select List of Combos These combos are the combos I generally do when I play my matches. You don't have to use these combos, these are just ones I find the most optimal to use most of the time :D Note I do use various other combos too, but these are the main ones I use a) 0 Charge 1. 5. Where would you guys like me to place my commonly-used combos list? The combo thread or the guide itself? I feel so loved. Btw I should make you pay me for all the times I drove you to tournaments and places :D
  6. In the scenario you cannot do the best combos: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11005-CS2-Tsubaki-Yayoi-Combo-Compilation-2.0(Updated-5-13)&p=926901&viewfull=1#post926901 http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?11005-CS2-Tsubaki-Yayoi-Combo-Compilation-2.0(Updated-5-13)&p=926921&viewfull=1#post926921 General FAQ on gameplay or combo execution: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?9343-CS2-The-Tsubaki-Yayoi-FAQ-v1.1-(Updated-5-15-2011) If you guys have issues, take it to PMs. Deleted a few posts.
  7. Things that are applicable for the average joe should be applicable in actual tournament play. I am just saying that before people start placing their recommendations on what should be placed in the tutorial, they should try to think about how it would apply in offline settings, and vice versa.
  8. People and their silly netplay :D I'm not sure if I really want to use tactics that are feasible in netplay. Netplay != real scenarios after all! Btw deleted posts for anyone that recommends RC throw or purple throw , or MASH BUTTONSSS
  9. I hear BB netplay is still amazingly awful
  10. Oops, I think you missed your high five with me. :D
  11. Slightly off topic, but I generally prefer combos that are more practical in gameplay, and regarding techniques on inputs, I use a stick, so what I may do may not necessarily be the best for you guys. That being said, I tend to just rush the input because that's what I'm most comfortable with.
  12. Maybe, I tried doing something like that where I did 623214 but I couldn't do the motion slow enough where it would read the j.214A as well.
  13. I have the link/timings down. But due to the speed of the 623C > j.214A > dash 2CC on various chars, my left hand starts to "cramp" out or stop moving after a prolonged duration of time. I won't be playing for awhile though, I just had the opportunity to play about 7-8 hours straight just doing combos on cpus and some close relatives of a friend. The combo is very important, but be aware that if you drop it, the opponent gets a free combo. EDIT: Also do note guys, just because you can do a combo in training mode or w/e doesn't mean you can do it in a real match.
  14. I dunno if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but my ability to do the 623C > j.214A whiff combos eventuallly deteriorates, along with my left hand. Currently, when I do 5BB 5CC or whatever, my left hand kind of stops there and does nothing. Maybe this is a sign I need to stop playing right now.
  15. Thanks! Yea editing in forum formatting is pretty annoying when you have more and more content. You have the option of doing 5C 2CC at times as well, I just didn't label a new combo or whatever at the time. When you play Tsubaki more and more, you realize you can replace certain things to make it easier for you.
  16. Very nice work. Also to help things, I'll be compiling a list of my most used combos sometime by late next week. I also updated the combo thread to make it easier to read. It's missing a few things, but it should have much less clutter than before. I'll also take a look at the first couple posts of this thread to organize things a bit next week.
  17. Cross posted from General Discussion: Currently updating Tsubaki combo thread. Will take awhile and will be missing some combos most likely. Let me know in combo discussion when I miss them. Do note I am not doing the expert combo section yet. Will update FAQ eventually (maybe in a few days) with tips on how to do some of those combos, playstyle. Will also include Batousai's tidbits on combo execution from the Tutorial vid thread. EDIT: New template on the combo page is done, I didn't put all the combos in. I also didn't put some counter-hit combos, but those are of a lesser importance. Feel free to make a list of all the combos and stuff I forgot to put, and I'll make pktazn do it HAHAHAHA.
  18. I'm going to let you guys and pktazn really talk about this one. I don't play any valkenhayn players to really give input :D
  19. Sorry about that I was still in CS-thinking :D
  20. Discuss the Tsubaki vs Hakumen matchup here. Things to watch out for: j.C 4C Hotaru, especially tiger knee version. 6B overhead, and 2C anti-air Things you can use: Charge if you're full screen away from him. 236x or 214x in if you're confident you will reach him. 22D unblockable can beat his counters.
  21. Discuss the vs mu-12 matchup here! Things to look out for: Mu's okizeme game using steins. j.C DP 2C anti-air AIR THROW her 236D can hit you while you are hitting her. Things you can abuse: 236x and j.214x to get in. Your mobility.
  22. Discuss the Tsubaki vs Lambda matchup here. Things to watch out for: Zoning. Act pulsar mixups(low, dash in throw, etc.) Guard crushes, lambda is good at guard crushing. Spike chaser corner lockdown. AIR THROW Lambda's gravity field DP Things you can use: 236x and j214x to get in.
  23. Discuss the Tsubaki vs Bang matchup here. Things to watch out for: 5A 5C overhead Drives Command throw, especially the air version. His cross up kick and use of bumpers. Things you can use: 22D unblockable will beat drives. You can duck under Bang's 6C and do stuff. Throwing will beat out drives.
  24. Discuss the Tsubaki vs Taokaka matchup here. Things to watch out for: Her air mobility is way better than yours. She can duck under your 5B while crouching. Things you can use: 2C works very well against Tao, most of them will not space themselves. If you get her blocking on the ground, it's your advantage usually.
  25. Discuss the Tsubaki vs Hazama matchup here. Things to watch out for: Chains 236236B super/Jayoku Houtenjin 214D~B (flash kick) j.2C overhead 5B Things you can abuse: 2C if he tries to close in on you using chains.
