  1. The anti-air act parser can be stopped by a jab, or basically any other attack that isn't head attribute as she is totally vulnerable before the attack hits.
  2. I find its way easier to walk back a bit then 6D after jakoyu, as opposed to trying to time the links into and out of the backdash. You can easily hitconfirm the extra 6Ds based on the height of the opponent. Basically if it looks like the next 6D would hit them in the feet they will be able to tech so go right to jakou.
  3. Challenge 9 took many tries for me, you basically have to hold down and mash D until you hit the ground then quickly hit B. There is hardly any margin for error so I gave up trying to time the chains.
  4. Well I guess arcade mode is locked to 1.00, after all the arcade version doesnt get patches. Score attack should allow 1.01 though since it will include Makoto according to Aksys, same with versus and training etc.
  5. The setting in the main options menu probably applies to all the offline modes.
  6. If you have trouble with the zaneiga->short dash->5C, you could try 3C->short dash->2B->5C->air combo. Its not that easy either, but I find that its less likely to screw up my timing for the jump.
  7. That works, but usually you can replace the jB with jCx2-3 at least for significantly better damage, even the first hit of jC does more than jB.
  8. TK Hirentotsu isn't very good since it has recovery time on the ground, zero priority, and the first couple active frames do not hit below him so it comes out kinda slow. I'm pretty sure you have to RC to combo off of it unless you get a counter hit while the opponent is airborne. I would really only use hirentotsu outside of a combo when your opponent is above you and you are both in the air (works great against Arakune and Rachel occasionally, as they like to be floating up in the air out of reach of most normal AA a lot). Any other use and its easily reacted to and punished.
  9. Chose Hazama as soon as he was revealed in CT. His play style did not disappoint. Chains and knives forever.

  11. Its been stated that Ragna the Bloodedge is merely a title of some sort, not his real name. In the story Jin even says "thats what you are called now right?".
  12. Its worth noting that Nu's right eye was scarred as well, though more severely. The connection with the Azure grimoire seems likely.

  18. Pretty sure it only combos if you do the second set of jCs for 3 hits, and you have to buffer the 214B really early.

  20. Yeah, and worst case you can cancel D~B into a fast jDD, j8DD or even j2DD for a fast fall if you know you are about to eat an anti-air, just be sure to watch your ouroboros stock. Oh and a misc observation: His j214B has a surprisingly tall hitbox, it seems to actually be fairly effective when your opponent is above you in the air. It also seems to hit earlier at the top of the kick's arc, so it comes out fairly quick when used this way, quicker that many characters' downward hitting air normals. Might not be a totally useless move after all, though certainly situational.
  21. I use the B followup pretty often when the chain whiffs to avoid being countered. Not as fast as D, and you have to be careful about timing and spacing to avoid anti-air, but it gets you out of the way nicely, and its important to not always run away in the same direction that your chain is pointing.

  23. Senkon Meiraku is not 720D, though that will work if you input it fast enough. Its 1632143D. No buffering tricks needed.
  24. The trick I use is to listen for the whacking sounds and stop mashing after the sixth, that seems to be the best guarantee that I won't add extra hits, since they come out two at a time.
