  2. I honestly can't say. The only characters I've seen that could be described as easy to pick up are zenia and saki. I don't know anything about Scharlarchot, except that she's been raping pretty hard lately with those chains of hers. If you really want some in depth analysis of each character's playability and skill reqs, I guess you could go here: http://shoryuken.com/f2/arcana-heart-3-xbox-360-ps3-breakdown-countdown-dec-23rd-244582/ It was probably posted earlier, but whatever. It's better than me just repeating what a friend who actually played it told me. Also, please disregard what I said about Kira owning Eko. I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that.
  3. Eko's pretty much just a super RTSD type character. You want to get in their faces, launch them into that faust looking combo with the sword if you catch them in the air. If you catch them with a string on the ground just keep applying pressure until they break and then combo into train super. The castle super stuffs cross up attempts so you've got that to escape other pressure characters. It does seem that Eko gets raped by Kira, or any character with a strong command grab for that matter. I don't think she has all that many options besides her castle super to escape solid pressure, so there's that as well. Hope this helps.
  4. Hey, just throwing in my 2 cents here. I don't play as noel, but I used fight her alot online so I think I know a little on how noel can kick my ass. Basically, yeah, getting in the air is risky for noel. The a good nu won't throw out swords willy nilly, but there are several other ways you can get hit, either a sword wave or a TKed qcb D or a 2d. Gravity Wells are also very dangerous to Noel. They serve to break momentum and can lead to nu applying all sorts of counter pressure. Pressure on V13 needs to be constant and against scrubbier nu's, you can throw out a lot of stuff while they just try to get a C move. A good nu will use 2a,2b,2c,6c, Act Pulsar as a method to get out of pressure. This can somewhat limit your mixup as trying to hit with something that has too much startup will just let them escape. Also be careful for the Giant Sword Super, if you don't hit her within the first few frames then it will still come out. I guess I don't need to mention that if Nu has meter you need to be even more careful with your approach and be careful when blocking (because you might eat a high/low and a followup). Sorry if I'm not any more detailed, these are just the sorts of things that tend to work for me.
  5. The onion knight seems a little broken. He was far and away the most powerful character in the demo.
  6. ^Amendment. I am blind (goes to Page 1).
  7. I have sort of a scrubby question, but, how does Nu's 236 D come out from behind? I've tried it multiple times in training but it only came out once and I don't even really know what I did. Do I need to fulfill a requirement (meter?) or somehow TK it or is it random?
  8. I've had a rash of bad noel matches. Whenever they get through they always go for a drive combo and my 2a (or 6b) usually nulls on her invincibility and I get hit with a 40% combo. I guess it's just bad timing on my part, but still, those invincibility frames suck.
  9. Good matches Goryus, especially the one vs. Pozerwolf (that finish was SO close).
  10. Thanks WUT, you just helped me beat 2 Jin spammers in a row.
  11. I have a question regarding defending against a rushdown by Jin. After playing about 30 matches and having fought 18 Jins I know what they do (because they all did the same thing, with varying degrees of aggression) but I just can't seem to defeat them consistently. I can deal with the Ice swords but I keep getting comboed off of his Ice Ride special. I've tried D'ing it, jumping over it (or at least trying to trade with it off a J.B) and sliding under it with 3C, but to no avail. The Jin player usually either does the special again or uses his 5D. Is there any way to counter them if try to rush you down with Ride the Icening?
