  1. yeah... mike Z scares me...
  2. Is there any way to control which cloud comes out?
  3. 6A beats 3C? How does that work? I'll have to test that tomorrow... I wish I could actually play this against a competent noel player, I haven't fought a single one who didn't drive spam.
  4. You had quite a few counters against me, you just have to combo off of them.
  5. RTSD? Whats that? Still working on IB-ing, I'm getting used to stick still, when I attempt to IB, half the time I hit 1 when I mean to hit 4 or vice versa.
  6. Sorry for the double post, Heres some matches I played last night against ShiningAquas: Note: There is sound but music is turned off, so don't think its glitching out at the intro. Note 2: He mains litchi so only the first two videos are really any good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTVkyl2i3rA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Fomb9VzztA&feature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kn8-LsID-LA&feature=channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0PsysAjtnU&feature=channel
  7. Not talking about the video I posted, I had a match against a ragna player where I would be holding a direction for a noticeable amount of time before my character reacted. I wasn't even able to block hells fang from maximum distance on reaction. I was really angry when I posted. Wow, some of those j.2C combos are really good.
  8. How the f*** am I supposed to block with a half second of input lag?! Note to self: don't play online whil uploading videos to youtube.
  9. what exactly is a kara throw? I've seen it mentioned for a few characters, but cna't find an explaination anywhere.
  10. Thats pretty much true, but I don't know where to stop blocking and attack. Every time I do, I walk into something (this goes for all of my matches not just this one).
  11. Played Faultydefense earlier and had my ass handed to me. I didn't get a single combo in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zW_ImyGNW4k
  12. You have to click the dish icon to play the video.
  13. Thanks for the matches tonight!

  14. hm, yes i can, but doing this online will be a bitch. (Replay theater has a frame by frame option) I'm not so sure about that speed thing ryko. Obviously the 66 is a bit slower input, but on a TK you have to wait for the jump. (214B is the best example of that, if you input B too early you get the ground version even if you hit 2147B) Never mind I'm being stupid theres probably more than a 4 frame difference between inputing 663214 and 2147. That said, I was pretty proud of myself when I landed a dash canceled 214C in a online match today.
  15. I would think 66214C would be fast than tking because of jump startup, not too sure though. no idea how good it is as an overhead, it really depends on the minimum number of frames from the start of the dash till the move can be preformed. j.214C has 13 frame startup. I agree with you about mugen ryoko. As for zanketsu, not really sure why your bringing that up, but the move is so slow that I routinely get tager bustered when trying to preform it against the comp.
  16. I believe the followup is also jump cancelable (have to double check). I've been doing it into air throws midscreen with it. (623AA>j.throw>j.C>214C) I wish more of haku's specials were either dash or jump cancelable. The dash cancel version seems to combo better than a TKed version. The 66 is necessary, only the 3 is not, though jumping from 6 to 2 is kinda strange, rolling is easier. Can 623AA go directly into a j.2C loop?
  17. ^this^ The problem with mugen is that it prevents your specials from linking back to normals. If I could still do Zanketsu>5C>Zanketsu, It would be great, but not being able to reset your specials per combo sucks.
  18. This is one matchup where I like IAD j.2C. The bounce back means you won't get thrown on landing if he blocks, and if distance yourself right you can still be in 6C range. What do you guys do at the start of the match? I usually go for a 3C first round, and play a bit more defensive in the later ones.
  19. Faulty, it doesn't "count for alot more" it just means that both moves excel in different situations. Where does it list proration on the move data?
  20. Thanks for the explaination Rhetoric, one more though, on the categories, what does "abare" mean?
  21. i know what you mean jack, but for me it seems to be the ice car spammers, I had a match earlier where the lag was so bad that I couldn't block ice car more than 10% of the time. I never even landed a combo on the guy... I'm still not good at blocking noel's strings if the person is mixing in low attacks. For some reason I can never seem to get combos off even when I break her strings with 5A, and 6A seems to trade aloth of the time, especially with her 2D.
  22. He means as a percentage of the character's health. Shes a pain to fight (I've lost to two drive spammers today =( ) but haku has all the necessary tools to fight her on even footing, its just a matter of using them right. Also, try comparing noel's damage to haku to hakus damage to noel. I think we've got a significant advantage there, even with her drive.
  23. Because 5B is 10 frame startup, 6A is 11 frames, 2C is 13 frames, and 5C is 14 frames. not entirely sure, but it might also have a slight range advantage over 6A.
  24. Pretty good summary, I imagine watching this match at a competive level would look something like baiken versus baiken. I need to learn some anti air combos. I can hit the 6A CH, but never follow it up right.
  25. Well I whiffed every opening attack, ended up winning only one round of four. My biggest problem was being crossed up so any attack that I threw to anti-air him would go off after he passed over my head. Thanks for the help though, I'll try that.
